I can't really answer this truthfully beacause I've never played rockband before. I have GH3 and Aerosmith and I love them both. The only thing I was dissapointed about was the animation & motions of the characters. I'll just vote for GH because I like the way the notes are displayed more and that I find the rockband guitar harder to use.
