Hi - this was reported yesterday but didn't get a chance to post it. Here's the views of one of those involved. Tsunami is a Pinfari invert. Looking at the pictures in the media it seems the lift chain snapped leaving the ride at the top of the lift hill. The Fire Service would not lift them off so the police were forced to do it. Will try to get more info. http://breakingnews.heraldscotland.com/breaking-news/?mode=article&site=hs&id=N0312701309855418400A Passengers stuck on rollercoaster Last updated 5 Jul 2011 - 10:45 am

Give yourself as much time as possible in London traffic is my advice. -

Gave the NEW Scream If You Know the Answer a go on Watch. No better than the last series and indeed I had to suffer Janice Dickinson. It should be renamed Reality TV Whores on Coasters. -

I look forward to eating a Marathon and Opal Fruits at the newly named Pleasure Beach! (sorry that's a Brit confectionary joke!) -

^^ not sure if they are doing it this year but last year they were selling fast tracks for individual rides at an individual price. Not sure if Spinball was one of them though. One of the AT regulars may be able to help you on that one. If you are keen to ride Spinball you should manage it ok at some point during the day. -

^^ I agree. The irony of it was not lost on me. -

Hope I haven't got the wrong ride but this looks like Saw to me. Its Chris Moyles and Ollie Murs "helping with revision". Sorry folks I'm too much of a technophobe to be able to embed and it may only be accessible to UK peeps. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00g871m -

^^ Even if Spinball still has a single riders queue I wouldn't use it. We tried it a few years ago and it took as long as the normal queue. On our last visit last year I just missed Spinball out. That and the Flume seem to have the longest queues in the park. I would rather ride the bigger coasters anyway. -

Look at your Avatar.....just proves it can be short as anything but still be one of the best ride experiences in the world!!!!!! Bring on the shorties!!!!! Don't get me wrong Andy - Nemesis is fantastic. So is Oblivion. But the truth is I like Montu more than Nemesis (although only just), Tatsu more than Air, Sheikra more than Oblivion, Xcelerator more than Rita etc. Why? Because they are on a larger scale. Maybe I'm being harsh but I always feel AT is disadvantaged as a result. I'm sure SW7 will be novel and exciting but at some point it will be bettered by a taller version somewhere else.
