  1. My mom thinks I'm abusing perscription painkillers...for no reason whatsoever. I'm gonna laugh when she finds out she's wrong.
  2. ^That's not a guilty pleasure, that's just sadistic!
  3. Lights/Projectors for a show/parade? Amazing as always Folf!
  4. Another good question: How long till Prince Desmond decides to "save" the ride?
  5. ^^I think that every KD fanboy in the world would be hanging in their closet by the end of the night.
  6. Aww, I loved EGF's name. Oh well, here's hoping they don't touch the ride, and that they continue to make the park better. Judging by Groteslurf's (sp?) TR's to the other Plopsa parks, that's probably not hard to imagine.
  7. All my life! Although, my first looping coaster didn't come until I was 6 when I went on RRC, and I didn't try any non-Disney megacoasters until 2004, when I finally braved Batman the Ride. Even after that, I was still creeped out by some...until I went on X in 2008. Now I just frankly love everything!
  8. Wait, I'm confused. You said themeing is "highly recommended", but you stated in the rules that there shouldn't be any heavy scenery interaction. I'm just not sure what you mean.
  9. ^^I think every epileptic in the room just died.
  10. And V2, Tony Hawk, Hammerhead, and TazDevil are? So many people underrate these rides.
  11. Man, practically every big name in the forums (save nin, Coaster Creator, Folf, and Dotro) is in on this. Consider me a bit nervous now!
  12. ^Well then what's the point? I can tell you I neve at a park and immediately think "OMGEENEEDSTOFINDTHEMES", especially Six Flags (and even moreso Cedar Fair) style parks, and I'm sure most others don't either (save the overly-hyper New-Element fanboys). Not everything needs to be a work of art.
  13. ^Whoa...that was a fascinating read. Hell, both of your last two posts were. I more than applaud you for what you do and how you defend it QR. You're much like myself-a traditionalist of sorts, when it comes to RCT, at least. Functionality over some sort of abject realism that in the end upsets the guests and (imho) looks worse than the basic objects. You build for your guests and your guests alone, and make some absolutely awesome (in a really fun way) parks along the way! I love reading every update that comes out of the Redline chain, as it reminds me that there are some builders out there that still value the original RCT premise. As a side note, I took a brake from hammering out a park that I thought would please TPR a few weeks ago to build a RedLine-esque park. It was the most fun I've had on the game in ages! Anyway, looking forward to another update as always!
  14. ^^I think that phenomena is true with all instances of crime, really. Doesn't necessarily make it true though. Eh, I dunno, I just have a feeling this thread isn't gonna end well.
  15. To be honest, I'm easily pleased with coasters (hell, California Screamin' is my #1), so let me be one of the people that says that this should be totally awesome if only for the launch. I'd love to get to ride this some day!
  16. Two new ones: Starfire and Eminem.
  17. Listening to Paramore. I've had people call me gay just because I like their music. Also, telling girls that I have a GF (untrue as of a month ago) if they're purposely asking me if I do just to make fun of me. Yeah, I know I'm a loser in that regard, what of it?
  18. I know people that have the exact same opinion, and its ridiculous. Although, to be honest, I'm glad Quickscope-ers won't be polluting Black Ops! And if you need new people to play the game with, just add a few TPR people! (Myself included!)
  19. ^Ah, my bad then, I misinterpreted. Still, a new rendition could solve that problem, but judging by the park owner's thinking so far, definitely not a possibility here.
  20. Whoa. That sounds horrifying to say the least.
  21. ^I didn't mean a Senic Railway using early 1900's technology. Heck, I used the word "modernized" for that exact reason. Also, correct me if I'm wrong here, but don't Tivoli/Bakken's SR's give some decent air?
  22. You know what I'd absolutely love to see here in the states? A modernized Senic Railway. Sure, there's no brakeman or built in nostalgia, but amazing themeing and tons of airtime in a huge man-made mountain would be so damn amazing! Plus, it fits right into a perfect gap between family and thrills.
