  1. Found a cool glitch - at least I think it's a glitch. I added a bunch more brown houses, made them christmasy, and they ALL inherited the same time frame for the Santa coins as the ones I started yesterday. I only have 1 hour left for my first batch of coins, and all the houses I just added (about 10 more) now only have 1 hour left on them. So with all these extra coins, I'll have my "Mapple" store before the end of the night. Another tip (If you didn't already know) tap a normal Homer 10x and you get a Jebediah Springfield statue. JJ
  2. Elissa - I just visited two friends and I got the Santa coins. I had 68, now 74. jjmailman654
  3. Does the track gauge vary between your various designs? (Sit-down, inverted, wing-rider, etc... )
  4. RMC: How is the track gauge determined - is it standard within the industry, or are your structures designed only for your trains?
  5. Are you sure you're not in line for Earl of Sandwich?? Or is this a combo deal?
  6. That's not too far out of the realm of possibility. Problem is (seriously) location. With the parking problems mounting with just the addition of Carsland (not just for the GP, but the CM as well), where do you realistically put it? Wipe out the hotels along the 5, or in that vicinity, on the east side of Harbor? Buy out Gardenwalk, and make a 2nd DtD type of area? Tie that in with the (laughably) proposed ideas by Anaheim/Garden Grove to have a trolley running down the center to alleviate (i.e. f*ck up!) traffic. The idea of a 3rd gate is nice, but until the traffic problems get solved (MONORAIL anyone???) I seriously think that can be forgotten. (Unless of course Disney is given "Imminent Domain" over all properties in the area to bulldoze what they want - which isn't too far out of the realm of possibility either.) JJ
  7. Aside from HP, I guess that's pretty true. I just don't care for either franchise. At all.
  8. Fixed. JJ - Who is REALLY tired of the Star Wars BS!
  9. I doubt the lines will die down by then. Too many fanboys.
  10. THIS! Seriously, I remember standing in TDS and looking around and you just couldn't find a bad angle of the place in any direction or any land! I think the most vivid thing that stood out in my mind my very first day there, was thinking "Wow! This park is really the complete deal. Everything is here, and done right." Then someone, it may have been Elissa, pointed out while we were in line for Flounder, that there was still another COMPLETE land I had missed - Mermaid Lagoon, inside/under the volcano. Mind blown. The park is simply awesome!
  11. Interesting topic. In no particular order: The original Jurassic Park and Lost Continent sections of IOA. (Both have now been F'd up by the HP crap!) At least Port of Entry is still good. ALL of Tokyo DisneySea! The whole park is beyond amazing! Europa Park's Bavarian section. Pretty much all of Animal kingdom (except that dino carnival crap!) I also find that Fantasyland at Disneyland Paris is really well done. Too bad it's in that sh*thole of a park. JJ
  12. Or how about Megapiranha, complete with exploding piranha! Supergator tearing up a Polynesian village?? All 3 ideas would make for great water rides!! Or even Megapython vs. Gatoroid? It would be a great dark ride!! JJ
  13. OK. "Wood Coaster" looked quite amazing! Nice layout, good length. My kind of coaster! However, the reverse POV of Stacy was definitely a distraction!! JJ
  14. I remember that this Tagada wasn't as wild as the one we had been on at Gyeongju World in Korea. For those that did both, how did this one compare this time, as it looks MUCH wilder than when we rode it in 2008?
  15. I remember in 2008, Elissa (with a very little KT) and I got in line very early for the SLC. We too, thought we'd never been so happy to see a real SLC. Yeah. It was still a POS. Thanks for the memories Megan!
  16. That may cause problems in the future. I'm NOT a lawyer, but I think a pre-nup needs to be written up! Just sayin'.
  17. I dunno. Could it be worse than Eejanaika?
  18. ^ MAybe they rode a 4-D, thought it was too rough, and found out a way to make them smooth?? JJ (Yeah, I know. WTF am I thinking?)
  19. I am LOVING this TR, Megan!! Your captions are right on the money!! You're a TPR natural!! Makes me feel like I was back there! Let's see: Be glad you missed Spinning Batman - especially the downhill glide into the 90* left-hand turn. You end up saying "Oh-sh*t" before you get there, and a simple "OW -$&^%(#*%^#$%&$%^$)" after. But, be sure to check out the video with Elissa and DT riding!! It's priceless!! The Shuttle loop - Yeah. The most terrifying thing I've ever ridden. Seriously, should have collapsed by now. Glad to see you and your dad had a great trip! Can't wait to see more!! Jeff (Big Mike's Idol) Johnson
  20. QFT!!! (All except for the escargot!) Reading the TR makes me understand much less of what I saw 4 years ago Chuck! Love it! JJ
  21. It's good to hear that Fireball was running well!! Because it is a really good coaster! All we could think about last time we were there was "How will this hold up in 2-3 years?" JJ
  22. Three. One on the track. One in maintenance. One for spare parts.
