Just rolled over again. No level 27 just yet.

That was the FIRST thing I thought of. I pictured Joey being the first.

^ I hate you! Yes I did! I noticed you've been moving things around, and it cracked me up - but, I figured that was only temporary, as *I* couldn't make heads or tails of why you'd do it that way. Too bad you can't place anything under the escalator structure. That would be cool. I do have an original idea for Burns mansion, that I haven't seen anyone do (yet), so I hope that will be cool. Might take up some space though.

I saw that last night. Great idea, and it looks cool!! (I'll probably be stealing that idea, amongst others I've seen once I have all the possible land, and substantial $$$)

I should roll over again tonight. So now I'm VERY curious. Did you guys get this glitch playing on an iPad, or iPhone? And, what do you mean "with the auto lock off"? What's the "auto lock"? Needless to say, I hope I get the "harp of death"!! I'm gonna try whatever it takes, especially after I got that stupid blue funzo by accident!

nope.. just reached XP level and just got the box with 3 options to choose from... back to zero on XP again.. I waited till I rolled over to verify (just now) as well, even though there was no additional bldgs or anything available in the store. I'm kinda wondering what happens tomorrow. Of their FB feed, it said that "Gorgeous Grampa" won't be available after then. Is that going to be the launch trigger for something bigger or not?? I've been going the opposite route. I've been buying as much land as possible and filling it with blue houses. Between that and setting my peeps on 8-hours tasks, I'm now generating about $160,000 and about 14,600 xp every 8 hours. I've maxed out on the land going to the right, and going down. I have only 26 parcels of land left to buy, and the cheapest is now $77,000. So... I figure that generating money won't be a problem if new levels or something good pops up. So I'm going to finish off the grid. But, I'll only be adding one square every 8 hours, till I'm out of the $77,000 ones (5 more), then just one a day as the price jumps to $86,000, then you have to add in the cost of the blues houses ($14,400), and slowing down isn't such a bad idea. But I would like to see some new LEVELS (yeah, plural!) added. JJ

You're probably right. Especially since you know where to look for these things. Sucks, as I have over 2200 hearts now. True.

Not necessarily. After the Halloween update, the candy was all "eaten by Homer" and there was quite a large outcry by players claiming wasted time. So 2-3 days before the Christmas update was coming to an end (where players collected "Santa Coins) you had the option to exchange your coins for "Mystery Stockings". The Mystery Stockings contained either Doughnuts (1,2, or 3) or a reindeer (which could be sold for $500 IIRC). That's why you see a lot of players with random reindeer or petting zoos. So, most of us are assuming that we'll be able to exchange the hearts for something, as it will keep the players interested. Since the update has been announced for Feb. 28, you can expect (if this exchange happens) an update/announcement 2-3 days before then, giving players the chance to exchange their hearts for whatever they decide to offer.

Just d/l another update. No changes that I could tell (probably bug fixes) other than my XP for level 27 went down to 120,000.

Mine is level 26 XP 23663/133,344 As always, give it a day or two.

Mine reset to 0. Already have 23,000+ due to new blue houses. My new max for level 27 is set at 133,344. Odd indeed!

I've had no problems. When I saw that Eric posted about the update, I immediately wiped Simpsons out of the memory on both my iPad and iPhone. Then I opened the one on the iPad, let it d/l the update, closed the app and cleaned the memory again. Then I did the same thing on my iPhone. Once I reopened the app on both, everything has been fine (so far).

Update has been smooth, didn't lose anything and at just the right time!! I built 55 blue houses (cash crop) and they'll be done in one hour. Massive XP!

Sadly enough, I agree. Can't say the same for the Popsicle Stick tower. I need more land, but it's getting a bit expensive. So, with 15 days to go (reportedly) before the next update, I'm stopping the decorating and making some blue house slums. I figure with bonus %, they'll actually pay for themselves in 3 days, and I can sell them all for $450 each afterward. I wonder how long this will last, and what kind of $$$$ is coming up. I want to make my hospital look good, and I want to make Burns' mansion look great, like Derek's. Stupid game.

I'll look closer next time. But, both times (so far) after I picked one box (one doughnut), it gave me the option to open another box, so I did. Then it was 2 doughnuts. Then it gave me the option to open the third, which was three. I thought I kept all 6. Maybe I read that wrong, and each extra box COST 50,000. I thought I was getting 50,000 with each box as well. Now that I think about it, that wouldn't really make sense. I'm a little over half way to the 181,440 XP. I'll document it next time, and see what happens. As for the scratchers - I got my second 10,000 this morning. Everything else has pretty much been 350 or 500. My town center.

I just rolled over my XP for a second time. I got $100,000 and 6 doughnuts. Strange part is - this max level was 151,200. Now it's been bumped up 181,440. Any thoughts?

Yeah... I'm about to start dumping people (15-20) that haven't updated yet. A lot of those people just came off a Christmas Tapped Out FB thread. They have no valentines stuff purchased, or still have all their Christmas lights up and haven't been playing at all. I'll start by adding more of the people from this list (the one that Chris is keeping up on). I'm starting to hoard the hearts, hoping we get a shot a more doughnuts. My escalator finishes tonight!!!
