  1. I've actually have only ridden EE that one day of Employee previews, and I rode it 6 times that day. I haven't ridden it again because my AP expired a month ago and I don't have the cash to renew so my opinion hasn't been able to change. If I ever get a new AP (it'll happen eventually) or visit DAK for a day I'll definitely ride EE several more times so I'll see then if my opinion changes.
  2. Actually, Fox hasn't made an official statement regarding AD's future. Even though its painfully obvious it will not be keeping the series. If Hurwitz agrees to stay with the show, I think its almost guaranteed Showtime will pick it up. I think its a slap in AD's face that Fox is burning the final 4 episodes all at once against the Olympic opening ceremonies. But its guarenteed that i'll be watching all 4 AD episodes, it is one of the greatest shows currently on tv.
  3. My guess for this is that the maps w/o EE are old maps. I've noticed that when Disney puts out new maps they won't replace the old ones with the new ones, they'll keep the old ones out mixed in with the new ones. I remember being confused by this with Pooh Playground and SGE. (I even remember others being confused with Wonders of Life awhile ago) Were the maps with EE on it still the old cover? I expect by the time EE officially opens the map will advertise EE as its cover.
  4. I loved the Kermit the Frog Ford commercial. Also, during the pregame (yay for Vault ads!!!) the Miss Piggy version of the Jessica Simpson Pizza Hut comemrcial they showed 50,000 times was hilarious!!! (again, the Piggy version, not the Jessica version)
  5. Wow, Kumba looks nice! Really nice! Nice photos! I wanted to go today, but had to work the whole day.
  6. 1- I did give warning and provided space before posting it. 2- Even though you're right, the promos didn't reveal it, that information was all over preseason material so its not like it was insider knowledge. (Honestly, I don't even consider it much of a spoiler, but I can see why some people would) 3- I do apologize and thats all I'll post, and all I was ever going to post spoiler wise here. Hey, it could have been worse, I could have spoiled the Final 4............. Justin "Will spill the beans that the Final 2 is Tina and Probst" King Edit: Reading over my post it sounds a bit more snippy than I meant it to be, I don't mean it to be taken in that tone at all.
  7. I don't watch the show, but from what I read it sounds like he did.
  8. I skipped the N64 games, but I enjoy the rest. That being said, I absolutely loved the original "The Legend of Zelda" for the NES!! Honestly, that game blew all expectations for me about what a video game could be. I also remember hanging out in the basement of a friend's house with all the neighborhood kids playing zelda together and trying to beat it (sure, it was a 1-player game, but it was the only house at the time with a NES, fortunately I got one for my birthday shortly afterwards)
  9. Thats what I call a meal with a side of Monterey Jack, too bad for him, its not the cheese we're talking about. Nice av!
  10. According to post-show interviews, according to Tina she did more to catch the fish than what was shown on the show. Ok, spoiler for next week's "twist" on Exile Island (not too much of a spoiler since most write-ups about this season have revealed this already) The 4 tribes already become 2 next week through a school yard pick 'em.
  11. Thats awesome! Definitely one of the funniest photo TR's I have read.
  12. Wow! That turn looks insane. Holiday World is one of those parks I NEED to hit but just haven't been able to visit yet. Sounds like I'm missing 2 (soon to be 3) great coasters. But is it wrong that I'm almost looking foward more to the turkey dark ride?
  13. Elissa, You weren't a fan of Miracle Strip? Not a whole lot there, but I did enjoy it for the cheese factor. I loved their indoor flats. Plus, I absolutely loved The Haunted Castle, great (and cheesy) ride. My least favorite small park is probably Bushkill Park. I honestly feel very bad for saying that, and I'm sure early in its history it was in much better shape, but when I visited it back in the late '90's I just got a vibe of sadness and emptiness from the park. That being said, I absolutely loved the nostalgia value and cheesiness of The Haunted Pretzel (R.I.P. Haunted Pretzel, I miss you). I was sad to hear about the floods last year. It was also cool going through The Barl of Fun. Always been a fan of fun houses and it was great going through an old school one. I absolutely loved those two attractions, but overall I just felt really bad for the park, it definitely has seen better days (I got similar feelings from Lakeside Park and Seabreeze) My 2 least favorite "bigger" parks are Six Flags Elitch Gardens (there really wasn't much to do. 2nd time visiting Denver, I actual visited Lakeside a second time and not SFEG a second time.) and Wild Adventures. With Wild Adventures I just didn't like the feeling of off the shelf rides plopped down randomly with a weak attempt of themeing. Cypress Gardens for the same reasons is pretty high on my dislike list too.
  14. Despite for her targeting Tina (I want Melinda gone!), I absolutely LOVED Cirie (black chick afraid of leaves and who should be wearing a bra!) As Probst said in interviews, here is a woman who watches the show, isn't in great shape, and decided to get off her butt and try out for it. If I were n the show, I think I'd be kinda like that, lol. But, she is there to play as was evident last night that she helped get Tina out of the game. Its a shame too, I liked Tina.
  15. Without spoiling anything....... the first 15 minutes were fantastic! I loved it.
  16. Yeah, I'll definitely watch Survivor tonight. I've been a loyal fan ever since the first episode and will watch it as long as it airs. I also think the way Exile Island works we'll hopefully get at least a couple wacky tribal councils.
  17. Yeah, its called Seasons 10-17 (Honestly though, Season 17 isn't as bad as others, but nowhere near the greatness that is Seasons 4-7)
  18. Thanks for providing a link Barry. I more than gladly filled out the survey which includes my opinion of dislike for virtual queue systems.
  19. Hey, Blazing Fury is pretty friggin' cool! Seriously though, I probably didn't visit Dollywood on the busiest of days (it was a Sunday in mid-August) but I did not see the need for any sort of Fastpass system. Rides like Blazing Fury, and Tenn. Tornado were walk-ons and Thunderhead and Mt Slidewinder were had lines no longer than 5-10 min. I honestly think a system like that would do more harm than help to the park, if it has any effect at all, but sounds like a bad idea to me.
  20. I did not like this past weeks episode. The Stewie/Brian interactions actually left me feeling quite uncomfortable (I did enjoy the end gag though) and the Music Man Shipoopi musical number went on waaaay too long (I know, that was the point) as if they were using it to waste time. Even with the original episodes though, Family Guy has always been a hit or miss affair for me. The newer episodes continue this, some are great, while other do nothing for me. About Futrama though, with the difference in format (4 DVD movies vs. regular series return) I don't think we'll encounter the problem that some people have had since FG returned.
  21. Based on what I've read around the web (but remember, things can change) your chances for EE next week are pretty slim to none.
  22. nice! Curling sure is the best event. In fact Curling is the only event that I'll plan to watch. I may watch other evens when bored, but Curling will be the only thing I'll actually go out of my way to watch.
  23. Robb, I'm sure I'm one of the few "haters" who you referred to, and I regret the comment I made, but lemme clarify myself a bit. I didn't hate the ride and I actually haven't seen any reviews that completely tear the ride apart. I almost feel like I (and maybe others) have come across as hating the ride more than we really did because we did have a few issues with it. IMO, its not a great ride, but it is a good ride. That being said, it could have and should have been better. I know they're trying to tell a story (which doesn't come across as super clear) but I feel that as a coaster, it is fairly weak. Besides the backwards portion, the coaster just isn't very exciting or fun (but I did like the fun little portion between the lift hills.) Its great that people are looking foward to it, but they still need to be careful about hyping it up too much. Its nice though that DAK finally has a much needed new ride. And all that being said, I would definitely give the coaster another chance when the times come, whenever that may be (My AP just expired and I really don't have the cash to renew or visit WDW any time soon.)
  24. In my experience, both sides of Gwazi usually only to be running when its busy. But even then, they never duel the two sides. I have no idea when they stopped dueling the two sides on a regular basis. As for Sheikra's water effect, the riders can never see it due to the way that the "splash" is designed. I could be wrong on this, but I believe that the splash is created by tube designs on the cars themselves, so they would have to take them off and do something else if they wanted to change it. Again, I could be VERY wrong on this, but I thought it worked like that. As for the hours, they are usually not open late at all during slow parts of the year, but as you stated with the lack of crowds, the hours aren't too big of a deal. Glad to hear you had a nice visit.
  25. Ok, I'm not a photochopper AT ALL, so I kept it very simple. Take a photo and add text, I even had trouble doing that. First time doing something like this, went for a silly, simple idea. Expedition Everett
