Probably getting Dragon Coaster at Atlantic Beach Park. While it's only 25 minutes from a spot in Mystic, CT I always visit, it's still about 2 hours away from my hometown. And really, the only reason I wanted to ride it was to get the claim that I've ridden the only operating coaster in Rhode Island (and to get the credit of course ) I've also waited in a 15 minute line at a fair for a dragon wagon (been to the fair many times, and the dragon wagon was new this year), waited out a broken down Ghoster Coaster, and rode both Wacky Worms at Star City.

Where Are You Planning To Go In 2014?
VinTheAttendant replied to azza29's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Next month, I'll be visiting Universal Studios Singapore and a few parks in the Philippines. For next summer, I'm planning on tackling Knoebels, La Ronde, and the cluster of parks in southeast Maine. None of those last ones are set in stone though because I have to focus my summer on internships and Senior Design work, but I'll make the most of the time I have. I will definitely be revisiting SFNE to check out the SkyScreamer, and I hope to also revisit SFGAdv. -
Best Gravity Group Woodie

I've ridden Ravine Flyer II and Wooden Warrior. Ravine Flyer II easily landed a spot in my top 10 list, it is just such a good ride with an awesome layout. Wooden Warrior is an airtime-filled, way above-average family coaster, but it's not enough to surpass the quality of Ravine Flyer II. Still a very fun ride. -

What do YOU take with you to a park?
VinTheAttendant replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I almost never wear cargo pants.....unless I go to an amusement park. I typically bring along my cell phone, wallet, my hat, and if I'm at a park I don't visit often, a camera or camcorder. Pretty much once Six Flags implemented lockers, that's when I decided it was best to go bagless; and so far I've yet to lose anything. EDIT: Can't believe I forgot to add my car keys. Kind of important -
The Best Woodie under 75 feet Tall

Two years ago, my answer was Wooden Warrior. And while I still love that coaster, my vote now goes to Coaster at P.N.E. Playland. That ride is just brutal, relentless fun from start to finish. Definitely one of the wildest rides I've ever had on a coaster its size. -

I've ridden both The Bat/FD and Vortex, and both of my experiences on each coaster were nothing like that (especially when compared to that head-pulverizing SLC). Both rides were fast, intense, and I got zero head-banging on the restraints. I think I'm also one of the few people who prefer them to Ninja, but only barely. Still miss the Big Bad Wolf. You forgot La Ronde, SFFT, and Walibi Holland back when it was owned by Six Flags. -

Been trying to think of ways to twist the synopsis without making it obvious, but if nobody gets it by tomorrow, then I'll make it super obvious so we can move on. A mother trying to care for her ailing son enlists the help of local scientific test subjects to save her family. After a fatal accident involving one of the test subjects, the mother ditches science in favor of much more effective magic. Ok, here's another hint: The mother is a mouse, and the test subjects are rats. -

It was a great clue! Had me stumped for a while. A mother trying to care for her ailing son gets caught up in her neighbor's moving dilemma, all while the locals keep trying to murder her. -

The question was supposed to be a coaster-related parody of high thoughts, but thanks anyway for participating Happy Halloween TPR (also, 1000th post!) -

The Premier LIM bowl coasters. Is it a cobra roll followed by a sidewinder? Or a sidewinder followed by a batwing?
