  1. 3. Ravine Flyer II 2. Millennium Force (still love it after 8 years of not riding it) 1. Intimidator 305 (sorry MF, I305 is just simply better)
  2. "Merry Christmas," "Happy Holidays," I'm just glad that someone is saying something nice and genuine to me. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas, and a very special thank you to TPR and the community for being just the way you are!
  3. I can't be the only one who likes to read every single ballad posted to TPR and compare them to my own. I think that's what makes this poll a lot of fun, and I'm glad I get to participate again this year. This year, I spent more time finding new thrills than reriding my favorites. Still made for a great season. 4. I'm kind of cheating since this is in a mall and not a theme park, BUT there is a coin operated kiddie coaster simulator in the same mall, so it sort of counts (not really). Anyway, fresh-squeezed orange juice vending machine. Definitely a new one in my book.
  5. The local mall in my hometown has that same simulator. It used to do Blue Streak and Gemini at Cedar Point, but now it only does Big Dipper (and I think it does Big One, but I've only seen offride POVs of it when I happen to walk by).

  7. Dragon Fire at Canada's Wonderland is the only Arrow coaster whose corkscrews bank to the left. Also, Leviathan is the tallest coaster in the world with a single traditional chain lift.
  8. On Memorial Day weekend every year, my family would always take a trip to a nice little campsite in Brimfield, Massachusetts. In 2011, we changed things up by taking a trip to California as a graduation present for my sister and so I could visit the So Cal parks. I believe it was after visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain that we learned an EF3 tornado had touched down in Southern Massachusetts. A few days later, we learned that the campsite we usually go to was directly hit. I don't think there were any fatalities reported from the campsite, but it definitely would have put a massive halt to our vacation had we chosen to go back that year; thank goodness for my roller coaster obsession.
  9. I'm actually not entirely sure what I sound like when I'm riding a roller coaster; I'm usually too wrapped up in the moment to pay attention to my own reactions. I think I'm a WHOOPer, or at least I am at the top of a tall lift hill right before the crest. I also scream really loud when I am genuinely scared, as evidenced by the video recording of me riding Kissimmee Skycoaster. Otherwise, I really don't pay attention to myself, the person riding next to me, or really anybody else when I'm on a good coaster.
  10. I haven't been on many of the great ones people have been listing, but there are a few off the top of my head I enjoyed. - Hydra: The Revenge, for obvious reasons - Mystery Mine, I'm a sucker for rides that integrate a story - Great White (Morey's Piers), great start - All the GCI coasters I've ridden
  11. ^I had a feeling it was an homage to a Coney Island classic, thanks so much for shedding light on it. Even though the face is an homage too, I still feel that pairing that face next to that name is kind of creepy.
  12. It's a regular spinning mouse, but "The Tickler" as a name sort of rubs me the wrong way. And then when you attach THAT face to it?
  13. Going through August Burns Red's Christmas Album Sleddin' Hill. Love it! Currently listening to O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.
