  1. ^ If you're talking about KingsDominionLvr, yes we talked about him a while back (bottom of page 103). But honestly, he deserves to make this list more than once.
  2. A computer with my fist through the screen What's worse than being cornered by a venomous snake?
  3. This guy is not giving up! Looks like there will be more rapture parties to come. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_apocalypse_saturday
  4. Starflyer. You're trusting your life to a pair of chains, that's more terrifying (and awesome). Tie your own tie, or have somebody else tie your tie?
  5. I am currently spending my rapture watching Sinbad and the Minotaur on SYFY!
  6. Maxair at Cedar Point was a big surprise, I thought it'd be like the smaller frisbee at my local park, but holy crap was it awesome! Maelstrom at Morey's Piers, I couldn't tell when I was upside down or on my back! Awesome gem to the park, I hope it never leaves. I used to not like Catapult at SFNE, but it's grown on me and I've come to like the feeling of my face being ripped off. Used to be terrified of drop towers, and I still am, but I love them to death! Though I'll probably lose my credibility of being a man, I must admit that I still love carousels and sometimes I can't resist boarding them.
  7. Lol, on a recent trip to Great Adventure, one of my friends kept calling it Kingdom Ka, too. He eventually go it right, though his phone's T9 mode kept trying to call it Kinda Ka.
  8. 19. I was VERY little when I rode my first coaster, so I have almost no memory of it. The candidates are Rolling Thunder back when Six Flags New England was Riverside, and the Dragon Wagon at my hometown's annual fair.
  9. At Six Flags New England today. It wasn't dumb, but it was pretty fascinating. A little kid, maybe about 8 years old, correctly explained the physics of sitting in the backseat of a roller coaster. It's strange that he got it right since I hear so many teens and adults say, "The back goes faster than the front!"

  11. Congratulations TPR! Can't wait to hear who the big winner is!
  12. I have to say Mind Eraser at Six Flags New England, and not just for sentimental reasons. Yes, it turns my head into pudding, but the layout is relentless and I always find myself grinning while riding. It's really fun if you know how to ride it. Coney Island Cyclone: This is kind of a reversal of Mind Eraser for me in that people love it for nostalgia, but a lot of people can't handle how brutal it is. Personally, I loved it despite the bruises I got. I can't really think of any other coasters I've ridden that were negatively received because of how rough they are, so those are my choices.
  13. Little Rickies Little Twister - Riverside Park (Six Flags New England) Python - BGT Big Bad Wolf - BGW Deja Vu - SFOG Laser - Dorney Park Dragon Coaster - Dorney Park Batman & Robin: The Chiller (Robin only) - SFGAdv Great American Scream Machine - SFGAdv That's all I have off the top of my head. Of all those, I miss Big Bad Wolf the most.
  14. Well, being I already am scared of heights (to a degree), I'd got with that. Would you rather post a question in the Yes or No Thread, or the Unanswered/Dumb Question thread?
  15. I had an opposite experience with that. When I was working on Batman: The Dark Knight in '08, somebody vomitted up a clear liquid on the restraint and part of the seatbelt...then didn't tell anybody about it. It ran one cycle with people on it. The next cycle, someone complained that the seat smelled weird, I was told not to worry about it. Both cycles, I touched the belt where there was no vomit. The third cycle, I touched it, then it occurred to me why the restraint smelled weird...
  16. Anything from Airplane! Specifically, "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley!" RIP Leslie Nielsen.
  17. Facebook. I know that nobody will follow me and I don't have any interest in following anyone else. Summer or winter?
  18. I didn't think I would have such a hard time choosing a favorite from either park, but everytime I visit, I never have a bad time. I guess I'll just go through each ride and give a brief opinion. Starting with USF, I recently got myself on HRRR. I actually never read many reviews before hand, and I loved the ride. It's not one of my favorites, but I thought it was solid (I got no shakes) and I had a great ride. T2 has a great premise, but it seems to lose its action towards the end. Simpsons was a ton of fun! It was hilarious, and a welcome replacement for BTTF (Though I do miss BTTF, it was just as good a ride). I never pass up MIB, it is a really enjoyable ride. Even the queue is awesome! Jaws still scares the poo poo out of me, but it's all in good fun. Disaster is still a really fun ride, but I think it's just an over-exaggeration of Earthquake, which I thought was fine. Mummy is just epic. Dark ride? Roller coaster? The answer is simply a very fun ride (also, the perfect ride to trick non-coaster riders onto). Twister was one of my first major rides. The dropping floor at the end always gets me. I cannot imagine the park without it. I hate the characters of Jimmy Neutron, but the ride was really well done and beautifully animated. I will miss it and the many Nicktoon cameos. Honestly, Shrek 4d is my least favorite ride at the whole resort. The moving seats were not impressive, and the 4d aspect did little to "wow" me. I think that ride should go, not Jimmy. I don't like beefy posts, so I'll try to make IOA shorter. Hulk is simply awesome, a top 10 coaster for me. Dr. Doom is a standard S&S shot. If it were combo, I'd love it more. Spiderman is probably my favorite non-coaster at the park. Dudley Do Right was a great flume, I loved the drop. I haven't ridden Popeye in ages, so I don't remember much of it. Love River Adventure, but it doesn't scare me anymore. Pteradon Flyers, the line is not worth it, but I got the credit. Forbidden Journey was awesome and revolutionary, but I still prefer Spidey. Dragons Challenge is simply awesome! I love both sides, but I prefer Fire (or whatever its called now). Cara-Seuss-cel is very clever, but a standard carousel. Cat in the Hat was fun when I was a kid, but it lost its touch on me. Goodbye childhood. So, based on writing this post, I think my favorite ride is The Incredible Hulk. VERY CLOSELY followed by: Spiderman Dragons Challenge Disaster HRRR Dudley Do Right
  19. 1. Millennium Force (Cedar Point) 2. Bizarro (SFNE) 3. Boulder Dash (Lake Compounce) 4. El Toro (SFGAdv) 5. Nitro (SFGAdv) 6. Manta (Sea World Orlando) 7. The Incredible Hulk (Islands of Adventure) 8. Lightning Racers (Hershey Park) 9. Montu (Busch Gardens Tampa) 10. Big Bad Wolf (Busch Gardens Williamsburg) [defunct] Hulk wasn't running as well as it used to when I rode it in January. A little TLC, and it could bump up a few spots. I rode Manta for the first time in January, and it was surprisingly epic. Big Bad Wolf remains one of my favorites. My last ride was one week before the demolition announcement and I still held it in high regard. Miss ya Wolf!
  20. There are two possibilities for my number 1: Either Rolling Thunder at Riverside/Six Flags New England (defunct) or the Dragon Wagon that comes to my hometown's annual fair. 50: Sheikra - Busch Gardens Tampa 100: Talon - Dorney Park 150 is so close, I can practically taste it! Edit: 150 was Xcelerator at Knotts!
  21. ^ I decided to check out the SFStL page. I don't think she fits in the general public category, more like general idiot.
  22. Technically, yes. When I was younger, I fell asleep in the car and woke up to find my parents put me into my bed. But from bed to bed at an unexcusable age? No. Have you ever tried answering a question on this thread, but somebody beat you to it as you were typing up a response?
  23. Yes, and he's probably in a back alley getting high, or he's in jail. Do you cope with defeat well?
