  1. YES! I was hoping this would happen. Triassic Attack was so much fun!
  2. You get the photo back with all the faces replaced by Robb Alvey's *Inserts a salmon*
  3. VERY impressive collection! If you get the chance, go to Star City in the Philippines. They have TWO wacky worms!
  4. 1. Dominator - I had medium expectations for this ride, and it blew me away! So much fun! 2. Kraken - I didn't care for this one at first, but when I rode it a few weeks ago, it was really good. 3. Batman: The Dark Knight - It was my first floorless and the first ride I was trained to attend, so this one gets a lot of sentimental points. 4. Griffon - I had high expectations for this one, but it didn't quite reach them. By no means a bad ride, just not terrific. 5. Hydra: The Revenge - A very unique ride. I love the inversions, but I find the ride to be just a tad short. 6. Medusa/Bizarro - A great ride, but the newer floorlesses overshadow the ride. I rode Sheikra, but it had the floor.
  5. Jon Stewart Steven Colbert Lewis Black Gabriel Inglesias Bo Burnham Jeff Dunham Chris Rock and a bunch of others
  6. As I was growing up, my parents would always take me to Riverside Park (now Six Flags New England). I slowly made my way up the intensity scale until I summoned up my courage to ride Mind Eraser at age 7. Even after this, I refused to get back on big coasters (and not because it was an SLC). However, when I turned 12, I forced myself onto Batman: The Dark Knight and I loved it. When I got home, I looked up the roller coaster online to see how fast I went. The next visit, I conquered Superman. I was convinced that Superman was the tallest, fastest coaster ever, until I heard of Top Thrill Dragster (and the fact that there were other roller coasters in the world). At that time, there were a lot of empty spaces in my life. I had no favorite band, no idea what I wanted to do in the future, no hobby (that wasn't crap) and roller coasters filled in many of those gaps. So I'd have to say the magic number is 12.
  7. Anybody know if they'll let two trains depart at the same time now? (or if they've already been doing it? It's been a while since I've gone)
  8. When I was working on Thunderbolt at SFNE, a guest asked me, "Why is this ride made out of wood?"
  9. Here is mine. I chose Bizarro because it is in my homepark, I have worked on the ride, Bizarro and I'm in the photo! Bizarro w/me
  10. The Mummy is a hybrid of a dark ride and a roller coaster. By coaster standards, it's not very intense, but the themeing and the fact that it's in the dark are some things to consider. However, if you had the courage to ride Test Track, it would probably take just a touch more courage to go on Mummy. Once you've ridden Mummy, Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be very easy. Both are family coasters. I was just in Orlando last week and I had a blast. Hope you have an awesome trip too.
  11. I have an ESP LTD Viper FM100. I like Fender and Gibson, but I love the distortion from ESP. Edit: ^That's a beautiful Strat. I think I can see myself in that finish!
  12. So taking down all decorations yesterday was a failure. There are a bunch of ornaments on the tree whose boxes we cannot find. So the tree is up for another day.
  13. I don't post much in forums, but I have asked this question before on other forums and have gotten some interesting answers. So I'm just curious. Are your Christmas decorations still up? Have they been taken down yet? Do you leave them up all year or never put them up at all (or don't celebrate Christmas)? (mine are currently still up but are being taken down today)
  14. Went to the WWoHP for the first time a few days ago and I was really impressed by the scenery. I think these pictures have to be the next best thing to actually being there. However, I was plagued with wait times and had to stand in a 30 minute line to get into the section followed by a 2 hour wait for Journey.
  15. I really did not want to conform, but there's no denying it. Intamin Pre-Fab.
  16. GAH!! I was going to say that but I dismissed it for reasons unknown to even myself! Congratulations JerryKoala2112 and thanks ernierocker for another awesome game!
  17. Just joining back in. Gerstlauer is a German company and the Vertical Limit is pointing me to Eurofighter. Edit: Dollywood was on Intimidatour so my guess is Mystery Mine.
  18. ^I was thinking the exact same thing. Great job Migs310!
  19. This is stretching it, but here's what i think: The Social Network takes place at Harvard University. Harvard is in Cambridge Mass. So I looked up Taco Bells in Cambridge MA and there is one on 168 Hampshire st. So I'm thinking New Hampshire. Canobie Lake?
  20. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51125 Cameron's most posted page. Opposite big dipper is little dipper. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/files/right_path__2.jpg Are those the guys from The Social Network?
  21. A lot of rides out there named Tornado. Would it be in the forum or the park index? (also, great job Mr. Starr!)
  22. The above picture is a bass and the bridge travels over a stream. A bass is also a type of fish, so could it have something to do with fish?
  23. I don't recall tightness ever being an issue with the ride. Thanks Robb!
  24. I'm a fan of Arrow suspended coasters. It's a unique coaster concept that is really hard to find nowadays. BBW topped all the suspended coasters I've ridden. I rode it a week before the announcement of the demolition and it was in my top ten list. I can totally understand people not feeling the same way about loosing the ride as I am. As with everything that comes and goes, there will be people who miss it and people who don't.
