Yeah I heard that one...but did you hear the one about B&M refusing to go over the 230ft mark on ANY coaster ever... I was under the impression the whole 230 ft thing came recently. Back when MF was designed, were talking probably around 1996-1997, when B&M was still a very young company and only had 2-3 different ride types. Im sure they were willing to experiment with a 300+ ft coaster back then, but by now they have found their "niche" as others have put it and would rather build more cookie-cutter type quality rides then experiment with new things that could be a failure in the long run.

I must say, as excited as I am for this coaster Im really sad to see Intamin's box-style track go. I always thought that stuff was so sexy

I stand corrected. I guess CF IS gonna invest in an Intamin Giga. Now Im really interested to see how this coaster turns out.

Hahaha I just saw this posted on Bungie's (The company that makes the Halo games) forums: It seemed like a normal report until the last few sentences lol And he keeps insisting throughout the thread that it was going to collapse any second and that everyone who rides it has like a 90% chance of dying.

Yeah my brother any I watched it yesterday but I think the only reason I was kept interested was because of the rides; I agree it seemed really "staged" as you said. I wonder if theyre doing every episode at KBF? Id keep watching it if the did footage at other parks but Id assume theyre probably not going to.

I can believe its an Intamin, but I dont think wee going to be seeing anything over 250 feet right now. I dont see CF investing in something of the 300-400 ft magnitude for Kings Dominion. I also have no idea why they would take those supports away and then bring the track in. I HIGHLY doubt they would send them to the wrong park, and they wouldnt unload them if they were just stopping before they got to Carowinds/another park. My guess is that something was wrong with them and they need to be replaced.

I doubt that too. But your post confused me....do you mean near Maverick, where Mavericks track was held prior to construction, or from Maverick's heartline roll?

Yeah, I thought that was a little obnoxious too. Last year there was a little booing from Pens fans (I had to look it up just now to make sure), but it was nowhere NEAR as long and loud as the Wings fans today and for the most part last year they either left or just stayed and congratulated the Wings. But it seemed like EVERY wings fan today just stayed and booed the entire time the Pens were celebrating, it was a little necessary. I couldn't even hear what the commish was saying, all I heard was boos.

Im drinking some right now. I actually prefer it to regular Pepsi, but I dont think it tastes "Godly" or anything. It doesnt taste that much better (or even just different for that matter)than normal Pepsi, but for some reason I just like the taste of it better.

Well I think its *almost* safe to say we'll be seeing a rematch of last year's Stanley Cup Finals. I'll be pleased if its Pens-Red Wings because they're my two favorite teams (I used to live in Detroit, so Im one of the few Pens fans who calls them self a Red Wings fan too). I honestly think that as long as Crosby and Malkin play like they have the past few games that the Pens are unstoppable.
