We have no problem with that. I think you have been here long enough to understand the type of double posting that is frowned upon.

Sorry, I don't have $100 bucks for you but jordanwilcox11 (aka PhantomPoster32) is now banned again. -
For every benefit created by having an indoor ride, there are negatives. For example, enclosed buildings are subject to much stricter and costly fire and safety code regulations. Major repairs to enclosed rides could make rehab difficult (replacing big parts in a tiny workspace). If it was a no brainer more parks would do it, however I do foresee more on the way as parks look to extend their seasons.

The pizza appears to have the correct sauce to cheese ratio. Trying to spot all the Disney characters in Hong Kong Disneyland's version of It's a Small World actually makes the ride bearable. -

The original Cyclone @ SFNE was far less inspired than High Roller, and look what RMC did with that. Oh really, when did you ride it? I rode it in the late 1980's and it was a phenomenal coaster with a legendary first drop. For quite a few years it was voted the number 1 wooden coaster in the world. -

Why RMC a coaster as unexciting as High Roller? I love that RMC insert wood coaster here is everybody's fix for an uninspired wood coaster. -

Perfect timing for the Iron Man Experience. Mystic Manor looks great. Big Grizzly was such a fun surprise, nice to hear that it is still delivering. -
More details http://www.wkow.com/story/34112905/2016/12/22/florida-teen-dies-after-fall-from-mt-olympus-water-park-slide Florida teen dies after fall from Mt. Olympus water park slide By Greg Neumann Dec 22, 2016 LAKE DELTON (WKOW) -- A 16 year-old boy fell to his death late Wednesday night after climbing up a closed outdoor waterslide at a local amusement park. Lake Delton Police have yet to identify the teen who died, but said he was staying at the Mount Olympus resort with his family, which was visiting from Florida. "They'd never experienced the cold and the snow and so they were coming up to ski and enjoy the winter time events that we have here in Wisconsin," said Lake Delton Police Chief Daniel Hardman. But tragedy struck on a night that began with harmless fun for the teen victim, his brother and another friend. "They'd been sledding at different locations, but they actually approached a seven foot tall fence that was securely locked and entered the area that was closed and restricted," said Chief Hardman. The victim then decided to climb on to one of the park's outdoor waterslides despite his brother and friend trying to discourage him. "He got about halfway down and got stuck in snow that had accumulated on the slide. We're not sure if he was just trying to unstuck himself or if he was trying to stand up, but he did fall approximately 35 feet from that structure on to another slide that was below it," said Chief Hardman. A paramedic happened to be driving by Mount Olympus when the call went out that a male subject had fallen off a slide and responded immediately. But EMS crews were not able to save the boy. Chief Hardman said he feels like the fences surrounding the closed areas of the park do provide a reasonable level of safety. "I mean, you could make the fence ten feet tall, these kids are athletic enough that they could have scaled that. I mean, there is - like I said - there's a point of personal responsibility and I believe the resort owners were well within all safety standards," said Chief Hardman. But the ultimate decision on that will be made by investigators from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, who will look into the accident. As for the other two boys involved in the trespassing, they will not be charged with any crime. "This is tragedy enough," said Chief Hardman. "There would be no point to that."

Robb did state (either here in in the social feeds) that it is primarily a locals park and he felt that the poor weather outlook on the second day kept many away. The park is quite expensive for many local day trippers. -

It sounds like Shanghai Disney on a busy day is very similar to the rest of China. I remember the general lack of personal space, lack manners and lack of common courtesy that many Chinese exhibited during my 3 weeks in China. It was not prevalent in upscale areas and the classier retail environments, but once you pulled back the curtain it was everywhere. For those that don't realize there are still two classes of people in China with a great cultural divide between those who grew up in urban versus rural communities. Although many Chinese have moved (or were forced to move) from farms to factories, the new urban families have not quite forgotten and revert back to their their rural ways. During my three weeks in China I talked to the guides quite a bit, and many of them were embarrassed by the uncivilized half of the population that is flooding into urban areas. Many Chinese are still learning how the rest of the civilized world interacts and are a product of their culture. Many don't realize it is inappropriate to relieve yourself whenever you need too, they don't know the concept of waiting patiently (versus pushing), they don't understand the need to provide personal space, and the tonality of the language gives the signal that everyone are always yelling when sometimes they are not. Quite frankly when you are trying to relax on vacation those foibles are annoying and can ruin the magic. -
For a limited time Universal Studios Japan will be adding a "Dragon Quest" IP that appears to revolve around exploring a dungeon and fighting monsters. Since the run is expected to start on March 17th, the park should be releasing more details soon. http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2016/12/20/business/usjs-osaka-theme-park-also-dragon-quest-attraction/#.WFm_F1y51jg USJ’s Osaka theme park to get ‘Dragon Quest’ attraction Dec 20, 2016 Amid work on attractions based on the mega-hit game series “Super Mario Bros.,” the operator of Universal Studios Japan said Monday that the amusement park plans to re-create the world of another popular game series, “Dragon Quest,” in March. USJ Co. said visitors will be able to explore a dungeon and fight monsters, just like in the game, at the new attraction that will open on March 17 for a limited time. The first of the “Dragon Quest” series, produced by Tokyo-based Square Enix Co., debuted in 1986, and has been one of Japan’s most popular role-playing games. The series has seen worldwide sales of 66 million units. USJ said it has provided a number of attractions in collaboration with popular entertainment titles, including “Harry Potter” and “Jurassic Park,” with a high level of reality, so it is confident it can create a “real ‘Dragon Quest'” attraction that visitors can enjoy. Details about the new attraction will be announced later, according to USJ. The Osaka-based amusement park is also planning to open a Nintendo-themed area that will feature characters from Nintendo’s games, including “Super Mario,” by 2020.

I have to include Jack Crouse's photo of Phoenix during TPR glowfest. It is not mine (even though I purchased a copy) but I know he won't post it himself and he is also currently away on TPR business taking many more awesome photos. -
