How many people come with you two to amusement parks?
Thrillrider15 replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Ask Alvey
^ Nice. -
^ It's true. But then, this could happen when you have a bar cage: http://video.search.yahoo.com/video/view?&h=105&w=140&type=msmedia&rurl=www.videovat.com%2Fvideos%2F561%2Fhamster-escape.aspx&vurl=http%3A%2F%2F216.227.212.230%2Fvideos%2F050929-hamster-escape-video.wmv&back=p%3Dhamster%2Bcage%26ei%3DUTF-8%26fr%3DFP-tab-vid-t%26cv%3Dg%26x%3Dwrt&turl=re2.mm-a1.yimg.com%2Fimage%2F1630150351&name=050929-%3Cb%3Ehamster%3C%2Fb%3E-escape-video.wmv&no=3&tt=11&p=hamster+cage&oid=7f26c97cb6ec3234&size=614.8kB&dur=26&src=p

The hamster cages that have all the plastic tubing, ect., are less sanitary than the ones with bars. I'm not sure why I said that.

I'm just wondering how many people tag along with Robb and Elissa to amusement parks on average. Hopefully, this wasn't asked already (cause I did a search).

Re-riding a Coaster
Thrillrider15 replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No I haven't had a re ride, or asked for a re ride before. But you know, the Wild Thing ride contest that they've been doing over the past couple of years, they just do a lap bar check, and they're back out there. -
Can I ask how strict Valleyfair's! From what I heard (from somewhere. I think the park map. lol) that their rules are pretty strict. Has anybody had trouble with Valleyfair!, or The Park at MOA (Camp Snoopy).

I was checking for updates on screamscape, and stumbled across detailed pictures of the Yeti. I posted them right here so that you can see for yourselves. ADMIN EDIT: First off, there is ALREADY a thread for Expedition Everest, it is located here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21764 with lots of yeti photos! Why did you need to create a new one??? Secondly, these are NOT YOUR PHOTOS!!!! You didn't even give credit as to where they came from, other than you stumbled across them on Screamscape. Please, for god sakes everyone, READ THE POSTING RULES of the forum before posting anything!!!!

Weird dream about SFMM
Thrillrider15 replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I also remember having a dream where the Steel Venom at Valleyfair! didn't stop at the top of the back vertical hill on the fourth lap. it came back in, shot out, then came back, but didn't slow down. It hit the end of station, and it blows up. And I had it on film. Creepy! -
Weird dream about SFMM
Thrillrider15 replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I had a dream once about a few parks before. First one Valleyfair! (obvious): I had a dream where the excalibur was replaced by another coaster (I'm not sure which one it was though). I think that was only in my dream because in my5 opinion, the Excalibur is the next coaster to go. But then, the below sea level thing, I dunno. Also, All my friends were stuck on The Wild Thing's block brakes. So when I passed by them, they all yelled "HEY ERIK!" And also, The Wild Thing became a hyper twister. Which launches you forward a little bit at the top, then down you go. Really weird. My second dream was Cedar Point. I couldn't go on any of the rides because I had to drag my family along with (they don't like amusement parks as much as I do). And also, the Wicked Twister was being taken apart. But it was in the same location as where Steel Venom is at Valleyfair! Weird dream -

Disk-O Coaster's Design's
Thrillrider15 replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It would be kinda fun, but it's a little too related to a spinning mouse coaster. A spinning mouse coaster could get the job done. -

Somebody help me!! My Theme Park Review 2003 Season DVD isn't working (it's only DVD#1 that isn't working)!! Please help! It all started last night. I decided to watch the DVD on the computer. But for some reason, it could only play the first two videos (the introduction, and the Elissa moving to California). I also saw that the video wasn't playing at a fast pace frame rate. So then, I got an idea of ripping some of the videos I wanted to watch from the DVD, onto my computer (Unfortunatly, I have never used a DVD ripper before). So when I tried to rip it to my computer, it started coming up with this error on like the eighth video saying something (I can't really remember what it said). So then all the videos after the eighth video, got the same message. Then, the Drive the DVD was in started making noises (it kind of sounded like scratch noises). So then I exited the DVD ripping program, and opened the drive the DVD was in after it stopped making that weird noise. So then I open it, I look on the back of the disk, and I see a few scratch marks on the back of the DVD (whic weren't on the DVD before, because I take care of my DVD's. ). So I decided to screw the whole ripping thing, and just watch it on the TV. Unfortunatly it was late, and everybody else was in bed. So I went upstairs to watch it. After the second video (which was the one where Elissa moves to California), it started to flicker, pause for a few seconds, and in some cases, pixelated the screen. Also, the titles sometime became flickery. And too, sometimes, the whole DVD stopped playing. After from what the DVD did that I explained above, I took it out of the DVD, and cleaned it, I put it back in, and it does the same thing. Only not the same spots in the movie. Then, I tried the second DVD (which I never put in the conmputer), and it had that same problem. So I just concluded that the DVD player just couldn't keep up with the bit rate of the DVD, and I went to bed (And I did brush my teeth ) Today, after I was done taking a shower and everything, I tried to play the Theme Park Review DVD on the downstairs DVD (which is more reliable and more durable). And it got pretty far in the DVD. But then when it got to the fifteenth DVD I think (which is Paramount Kings Dominion), and then for less then a second, it froze, then started playing. But the a couple of seconds later, it froze again, and the same problem happened as the upstairs DVD player had. And the same thing happened with the video after that(which was Bonfante Gardens). Then I took it out of the DVD player, cleaned it, then popped it back in the DVD player. Then I started the DVD at Six Flags Marine World, and Valleyfair!, and it got past the whole video without flickering, except for I saw when it faded out at the end, I saw it flicker for a second. And then the next video, it just flickered then whole time. By then I just gave up, put it back in the case, and now I'm asking for help (by the way, I never tried the second DVD in the computer, nor the downstairs DVD player). I know this was a lot to read, but I need the help. Please reply if you have any suggestions. Because I need the help. Thank you.
