  1. Looks like lots of work has been going on at the former midway market. I'm hearing rumors that it's going to be an Italian restaurant of some kind.
  2. Hellfest was filmed at six flags white water near Atlanta.
  3. Doesn't Disney use the same technology as well?
  4. I'm loving the new retro paint job on corkscrew. Check it out on the cedarpoint blog here.... https://www.cedarpoint.com/blog/new-year-new-corkscrew
  5. This weeks "where in the park is this" clue...
  6. Michigan's adventure already blew the next 3 years budgets on a new park bench.
  7. The park just released a p.o.v of the new coaster on Facebook. Looks great, although a bit on the short side. See it here...
  8. We only ran into them 1 time in all of our travels, and that was at the super 8 by kings island.
  9. Since BGT is a year round park, they usually always have their maintenance schedule posted on their website. It’s always worth a look before planning a trip there, especially in the off-season. Yeah, that's definitely pretty awesome that Busch does this. For one -- they actually do awesome maintenance, but keeping people in the loop is great too. Six Flags doesn't care. They don't do a bad job on maintenance, but I don't see them going out of their way to keep guests in the loop. I think that what kills Six Flags is that the employees will often not know how to respond to an issue or will struggle to get a train out when the system starts acting up. Better training and having the money to hire A players could let them hire ride ops who were more mechanically savvy and better able to adapt to different scenarios. Also probably don't have enough mechanics on staff to respond to issues. Cedar fair and six flags are basically the same when listing ride closures. I actually found ride closures slightly easier to find at six flags parks. Typically they have a board at the parks entrance, and listed on the website.
  10. Our visit to the park over the summer was very disappointing. Service, major safety concerns, closing early for a 20 min passing storm, and guest services were all a major fail for this park. You can see our trip report here..... https://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=75949&hilit=Mega+2018&start=40
  11. Parts for the new ferris wheel are arriving.
  12. The property that used to be home of Hard Rock Park/Freestyle Music Park has been sold. The intentions of the buyers has not yet been made known... http://www.wmbfnews.com/2019/01/11/former-freestyle-music-park-sold/
  13. Interesting find on Facebook marketplace. Pretty cheap as well.
  14. Must be true, I wonder how they have remained open since 1982? Seriously though....Is it the greatest park out there? No. But to say that nobody has fun there is just a stupid comment. You would seriously have to go into the park with a negative attitude to not have some fun.
  15. Yep.... Photo credit goes to Brian Poloski at cedarpoint memories
  16. Well crap! I dont know how I can look past the parks logo. We may as well skip the park this year because it's obvious that with a logo like that, we cannot enjoy the park.
  17. This tasty picture is courtesy of Holiday World.
  18. ^Right... We have used all of our membership bennifits at multiple six flags parks without issues. Like Bill mentioned, maybe the dinning plan if it's not the chain wide dinning plan. Possibly may have an issue getting your yearly refillable cup as well but not sure.
  19. ^ Very cool! Another picture from worlds of fun...
  20. Speaking of maxforce, what's with the lack of Construction pictures? Have not seen a single picture of the progress since October
  21. Red Baron sign? Yep! Good job, that was a tough one.
