New lighted coaster wheels.
thrillrider replied to thrillrider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I wonder if they are cost effective? I'm sure the lifespan of the wheels is not too long. Or they could possibly just clip on. Either way, I would love to see them on some coasters soon. -
Seriously? You have NO IDEA what these people go through. At Six Flags they require a Dr's note to prevent those trying to take advanthiage. Keep that in mind next time. They even have to wait in a virtual queue with the program. They are one of the strictess when it comes to this. I can think of several disabilities and diseases that wouldn't allow people to wait in a standard queue but still be able to go on rides. Exactly, my son is one of them. He looks like a normal kid, but due to certain medical issues, he is unable to wait for long periods of time. Beyond that ice1972, your arrogance offends me. You are already cutting in front of hundreds of people, but that's just not good enough for you I guess. Another "I'm entitled to everything" attitude. Unfortunately, this seems to be more common these days.

I love the way it lights up the structure as the train passes. -
Found this on YouTube... Uremet( manufacturer of coaster Wheels) has introduced light up wheels. Pretty cool, check it out.

I drive by this place every morning. They typically leave the lights on the rides, and the lighting packages for the wheel and the tower are stunning. -

Cant see? Sure you can. The lift. Turnaround from the station, view of it from the tower/wind sleeper. There are other wooden coasters in the woods that are painted as well. Besides that, doesn't painting the wood extend its lifetime? -

Does anybody know why they no longer paint the Beast the reddish color that it used to originally be? -

My biggest gripe with the whole system, is the amount that they sell. It needs to be capped off at a much lower number than it currently is. But I guess that $$$ is more important than anything else these days, so I don't see that happening anytime soon. I am starting to hear a lot of grumbling from people visiting the park about the system. Some have even sworn the park off. I'm not sure what six flags is doing right with there version of the fast lane system, but maybe cedarfair should look into it. -

Just thought that I would bring it to your attention that C.J Barrymores os missing from the park index. Let me know if you need any pictures from this place, as I live right by it. -

Here is a picture of the spinning coaster at CJ Barrymore's. I'm going to try to make it back there this week to get a picture of the ferris wheel which is now being assembled and the tower. -
Mega trip version 2019

Yea, we just did it last year. We were considering swinging by there for a few hours, but really couldn't find any good deals on tickets. I think we may wait till next year to visit this park again. It's not really a park that we are begging to get back to so soon. -

From what I was told, the bobsled was only open for a few days last summer. So I wouldn't be surprised if it was removed. -

Has anybody on here ever eaten at the Edison in Disney springs? Looking for some Feedback on this place, as I am reading mixed reviews about the place. We picked the Edison because it looks interesting, but I'm starting to hear that the food is average and overpriced. -

We actually have a house rented for 5 days before Disney. The house is in the Kissimmee area. Clearwater beach is a favorite of ours, so we typically try to make it over there every time we are in the sunshine state. Thanks for all the recommendations. As far as Chattanooga goes, we want to try and get out of there at a time that we will miss the majority of rush hour traffic in Atlanta(if there is even such a thing...lol). We have a bit of a drive to get to valdosta, so we have to keep that in mind. We were toying with the idea of checking out the world of coke if time permitted.
