They could call the Premier coaster Full Throttle. I just think that ride would be excellent, but the theme doesn't matter too much for me. And I agree that having Bizarro go backwards, while an undeniably cool and interesting concept, would hurt ridership and may be too fast. Installing lighter trains would be at the top of my wish list.

While the theming seems something like that from a Six Flags park from these plans, I'm going to wait and see how it turns out. I thought Mach Tower would be tacky, but I actually really liked its apperance and what Busch did around the ride. The capacity could be a major issue, but the ride is fantastic. I don't care if it's a clone since it's a good one and not a SLC.

Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread

Agreed! That is one of the best posts I've read in a while. While the trick track section was brutal, I found the rest of the ride enjoyable. Those funny hills gave some frightening airtime and the vertical loop was wildly intense. In all honestly, I like SkyRider and Shockwave better than all of the B&M stand-ups I've been on since they are more intense and smoother. -

I loved that extra surge into the restraint. I could see how some could find that uncomfortable, but I absolutely loved it. And I'm glad it still delivers quite a bit of airtime on that final hill. -

Or it could be that they realized a giga was more marketable. -
I haven't been in 2 years, but I would recommend hitting Goliath early since its one train operations and propencity to break down can lead to a long wait later in the day. Bizarro is fantastic, especially in the front, but Skyrush was superior in my opinion. Skyrush's intensity is unparalleled. Cyclone has made those noises for quite sometime. I'm guessing it may be due to a lack of lubrication, but I could be wrong. I'd love to see a B&M invert at the park, but I don't see it happening. If and when they remove Flashback, I would really like to see a Superman Ultimate Flight clone (as long as they add the extra car like Busch or have a dual loading platform).

I'll be at Hershey in two weeks. Skyrush is my number one steel coaster, so I am eagerly looking forward to re-riding it. I loved the ride's wild intensity. While the lift sounds slower and the final hill may be a bit less intense, it should still be one of the best coasters in the world. Having said that, I hope that the final hill is every bit as intense as it was two years ago. -
I honestly want to see them keep Grizzly as is. While it is a joke amongst enthusiasts, it is a perfect training coaster for younger riders. If it were rough, I would say Iron Horse it. But it's smooth and actually somewhat enjoyable even though it lacks air time. For the park's next coaster, I want to see them use the area where Invertigo once was.

Smoothest Coaster You've Ridden?
Canobie Coaster replied to TheDark8's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've been on Bizarro in two separate visits and both times there was quite a bit of rattling during the second half. It was rough for a B&M but still smoother than most inverting steel coasters. I'm just noting it wasn't glass smooth. -

I agree completely with these, especially the last one. If the Cyclone had feelings, it must have felt distressed since the younger child is usually the spoiled one I also want to add the Yankee Cannonball and Great Escape Comet here along with Wooden Warrior. For steel coasters, most B&Ms are glass smooth except their stand-up coasters and the Bizarro and Scream floorless coasters. Manta and Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld San Diego were both perfectly smooth as well along with the newer launched Premier coasters like Superman and Full Throttle. -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Belmont Park's Giant Dipper! Now I finally have both of California's Giant Dipper credits. It was a fun coaster. While it didn't have much air-time, it had plenty of laterals to keep it interesting. -

Every time that I saw the Equinox break down, the arm seemed to only raise about halfway before lowering back down to the platform so I am guessing it is probably something with the hydraulics. -

Knoebels in two weeks! I can't wait to try out the Flying Turns. -

I have to agree that navigating is difficult in Hershey. I got so lost because i could see the rides i wanted to go in the distance but the path layout is awful and very confusing. I probably could have gone on more rides but kept backtracking because i was gling the wrong way. I agree 100%. Trailblazer was the one that was the biggest pain for me to find since it was hidden in that woodsy area in the back. -
I love wooden coasters in the rain. A few years ago, I was at the Great Escape and it was pouring all day. I marathoned the Comet for almost 2 hours and boy was she flying! Then two years ago, I rode Rolling Thunder in the rain and the ride was actually really good. All of the hills on the return leg had air-time which I didn't expect from that coaster. When I rode it a day later in dry conditions, it was back to dragging through the course unfortunately. Green Lantern (SFGAdv) was probably the most painful coaster experience that I've had in the rain. That when combined with the coaster's roughness on its own was a lethal combination.
