  1. Gold Striker = Tuff Shed: The Ride. Don't get me wrong though, it's still a really fun coaster.
  2. To be fair, the article linked above says "including drops of 41 and 31 feet (12.5 and 9.4m)", but does not specify the order of the drops on the ride.
  3. In today's world of theme park rides and attractions, I see the new Snow White coaster as a D ticket. In the days of the ticket books, it would have been an E.
  4. Training has nothing to do with it if the employee has a bad attitude. Than that employee needs to no longer be an employee. It would be the responsibility of the company to carry out the firing and replacement of that employee. A company is ultimately responsible for its employees, good or bad.
  5. Both is my answer. While I usually find TRs in the forum, I prefer the layout in park index. If I had to choose one or the other then my vote is for the park index.
  6. While I seriously doubt that I'll get everything before the Easter event ends, I feel that I've done reasonably well so far. (at least by my free-player standards) I've got all the possible prizes from the pink box, but nothing other than decorations so far from the blue box. I got Hugs Bunny fairly early in the event from the gold box. Since then I've also received Bunny #24601, a few pastel picket fences, and the Easter gate. I could have sworn that I also got one of the alien topiaries, but I just looked around in my Springfield and I cant seem to find it. Maybe I just thought I won it? My biggest surprise was getting one of the naturally occurring Faberge' eggs very shortly after completing the tasks that unlocked the possibility of receiving them. From what I've read, the chance of getting those from the egg drops is pretty low. (about .7% from what I gather) Although it's not really much to look at, and doesn't "do" anything as far as I can tell, I feel fairly lucky to have received one so soon. Since I have spent a grand total of $0.00 on this game, I figure I'm doing okay. Hopefully I'll get a few more decent prizes between now and when the event ends.
  7. Thank you for the TR, particularly the part on Enchanted Forest. I really love this little park. I need to get back there sooner, rather than later. My twin grandsons will be just about big enough to enjoy the park soon. Maybe not this summer, but certainly next. I have no idea if it's the same story as shown in park, but here's a great video that tells the story of the park and the family that owns and runs it:
  8. ^^^ Video here: Link to story and video on local news station
  9. Now one of your posts is on here.
  10. Is it just me, or are the surveys that SF is sending lately too stupid to even justify completing them?
  11. I believe it was about 10, or so, years ago, I booked a stay at a DLR hotel specifically because they were running a promotion where you were allowed unlimited Fast Passes for staying at a Disney hotel. By unlimited, I mean that you didn't have to wait for your current reservation time, or for 2 hours to pass, before getting your next Fast Pass. Yes, it was considerably more expensive than staying at any number of other hotels in the area, but it was worth it to me. I'd gladly do it again if given the option. I'd also do the same thing if booking a stay at the Florida properties, providing it was available. It wouldn't necessarily have to be unlimited Fast Passes, but perks of that sort, that were available only to guests staying on property, would certainly have a significant influence on where I would decide to stay.
  12. I noticed the same thing. I wonder if we need a character free to do a task before we start regularly earning FP again.
  13. When was the last time Tomorrowland had a truly cohesive theme?
  14. Disneyland's Space Mountain, the second week of February.
  15. Article and video here: Click Everyone has an opinion about which pizzeria is best in town, but only one person can tell you which pizza box is the best in the world: Scott Wiener, the Guinness World Record holder for the world’s largest pizza box collection. A self-described pizza enthusiast and the proprietor of Manhattan’s sole pizzeria tour, Scott’s Pizza Tours, Wiener, 32, has amassed a collection of more than 600 pizza boxes from at least 45 countries -- all of which he stores in a single closet inside his Brooklyn apartment. But Wiener isn’t a hoarder; he’s a pizza box expert. There’s a difference (he has even published a book about pizza box art) and that difference entails vital knowledge. According to Wiener, almost two-thirds of the pizzas eaten in the United States are placed in delivery boxes. To put that into perspective, “that’s, like, 2.1 billions pizza boxes a year eaten out of pizza boxes,” said Wiener. The problem with pizza delivery boxes, though, is that they’re not effective at delivering pizza. Fresh pizzas emit steam that gets trapped inside cardboard pizza box. This leads to “soggyfication” -- a term Wiener coined that denotes a pizza’s loss of taste, crunch and structural integrity. The whole dilemma is not unlike Global Warming, with pizza serving as the Earth in this metaphor and pizza boxes as the Greenhouse gases inside our atmosphere. Wiener is so apprehensive about “soggyfication” (pizza’s Greenhouse Effect) that he refuses to eat pizza from a pizza box. But he’s also civic-minded. After a protracted global search, Wiener said he has found a pizza box that addresses other boxes’ failings. Straight out of India, it’s called the Ventit, and according to Wiener, it helps preserve a pizza’s taste and crunch. How? Watch the video above and discover what could quite possibly be the world’s most advanced pizza box.
  16. It's a foregone conclusion that Autopia is leaving to make room for new attractions though, right?
  17. How will the Lava Monster stack up in comparison?
  18. I just installed the update. Everything seemed to continue on without causing any problems.
  19. I seriously think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't mind Kong at all. I'm right there with you. I guess I've just never experienced the pain that others seem to. It's not my favorite ride or anything, but I usually ride it just about every visit. Roar on the other hand... I used to really like that ride, but it got nearly unbearable a couple years ago and hasn't gotten any better since. I hope this re-tracking work they're doing will bring it back to at least being fun again.
