This ride announcement does nothing for me. I would have much preferred the Justice League dark ride that a couple parks in the chain are getting (or a similar ride that fits DK's theme better). The tide has clearly turned to CGA currently being the better of the 2 bay area parks for the time being. That's where I'll be going instead.

I've had very little interest in returning to MM recently. This announcement has definitely changed that. I think this will be a fantastic replacement for Colossus. Providing West Coast Bash keeps the schedule it currently has, it's highly likely that I'll attend both days next year.

I will begin doing the same today. Unless I find out this a bad strategy, I believe it's likely I will continue this way.

What I found very telling in that article is that Ouimet mentioned every major park in Southern California except Magic Mountain. He doesn't even consider them to be competition.

Along with Gold Striker, you will almost certainly want to Flight Deck more than once. The rest of the coasters, not so much.

The company he specifically complained about, Modern Midways, doesn't even list a Zipper among its attractions on their website.

I'm guessing a few riders may have required a change of underwear after that particular ride on Ninja! Glad no one was seriously hurt. I really hope the coaster can be repaired and opens back up soon.

I have 100% confidence that this petition will accomplish absolutely nothing.

^^ Filling the track and supports with sand doesn't reduce the noise from riders' screams.

A Snoopy and the Red Baron shooting dark ride would be a great fit.

I'm guessing the 20 that signed the petition are that type of roller coaster dork where other roller coaster dorks point at them and say, "Now that's one hell of a roller coaster dork!"

Any word on whether they'll be fixing up the restrooms, repairing dilapidated buildings/roofs, providing a solution to the rampant line jumping, or maybe just emptying the trash cans on a regular basis? No? Okay, just checking... YOLO!
