  1. Trust me, it's going to be well advance than that. Like . . . WELL ADVANCE! Imagine MIB, Transformers, and Spiderman all in one. Put that in a Six Flags park and you got something better than slice bread. But with more technological details. Like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoScJ7H7a4Y
  2. Is it just me, or does the forward trip through the loop look pretty intense? I'd ride it!
  3. There's a parking garage right across from Pier 39 that I usually use when I visit the wharf area. It's not cheap but most places around there validate parking if you eat there.
  4. I've been to Gilroy Gardens probably close to a dozen times, at different points in the season, including Saturdays, and never have I seen it unmanageable. The longest wait I usually see is for the classic cars ride (one of the best, so I hear) and even then I don't think I've seen it over 45 minutes. The coasters are rarely more than a 2 or 3 train wait on the busiest days.
  5. 1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? (or if you don't know, just tell us if the videos auto-play or not in your newsfeed.) No for both a and b. 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? No, and I don't recall. 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) N/A 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? I watch most TPR videos in their entirety. I may, on occasion, fast forward the lift hill and/or off-ride shots, depending on the ride. For non-TPR videos it varies based on the content. 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) Not important at all. 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? I like being able to check in on what friends choose to share about what the are doing. I use the picture viewing feature. I don't use (or am not aware of) enough other features to be annoyed by them. 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? I like what TPR does and I don't notice anything missing.
  6. The "stain of death" on the low part of the curve after the MCBR is pretty tacky. Stain of death
  7. ^ I am expecting the negative G that @ss float want to feel the thrill than amazing!!
  8. ^ I believe that's just a re-posted video from very near the ride's initial opening. Not that I'm saying it has OTSRs now. I haven't been to the park recently.
  9. I won't miss the ride much. With that said, I must be among the minority that usually got a pretty good ride experience on it. I'm glad to say that I was able to ride it, unlike the long-defunct flying saucers.
  10. Left shark was stoned.
  11. I'm not a Patriots or Seahawks fan, so who ultimately won was of little concern to me. I'm just glad it was a very entertaining game right to the end. I wish all super bowls could be as good as this one.
  12. It's good to know the old MCBR is now gone. Seeing the original double-down underneath it was a depressing reminder of how good the original layout was compared to its neutered version.
  13. There's a Black Bear diner across the freeway (I-80) from the park. We often have breakfast there before a day at the park. It's really good.
  14. Are there any other rides out there still operating that shuffle to the degree that Pysclone did prior to its removal? I'm sure it probably felt worse than it actually was, but it seemed like it moved laterally several inches in some spots.
  15. ^ It would appear the bolt securing the safety cable either sheared, or was missing.:
  16. Other than the capacity, it looks great.
  17. That was amazing. Not at all what I had envisioned happening. I can't even imagine what it must have been like to be one of the riders in the last car.
  18. ^ Here's an LA Times article from when the metal detectors were installed: Click here
  19. I enjoyed Dallas' run while it lasted.
  20. Scream's parking lot seems like an ideal opportunity for some well done 3D street art. Not necessarily these examples, but something along these lines that takes into account the riders' perspective would be much better than parking lot lines.
  21. This should be a significant change for the better.
