The Official "Chocolate and Candy Trading" Thread!
Nrthwnd replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ But you know what, Soren? I have gone thru sooooooo many of those 'eggs' thru the years.... I just don't like the taste of that particular chocolate any more, and usually when I buy the Eggs, the toys are all I am going for, LOL! Silly bear I am. -
The Official "Chocolate and Candy Trading" Thread!
Nrthwnd replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about the card not being (first) formatted. At least, "now you know," heh heh. But I am glad that the package arrived safe and sound to your home, Julie. My biggest concern, was that the 'statue' would crack and break into pieces, before it arrived. The Kinder Eggs too, I really wasn't sure about how 'solid' they'd stay in the journey, as well. The toffee I knew would be ok, lolol. But - looks like it all arrived in fine shape. Good. (Wow - it only took six days to reach you! I'm impressed.) -

Expedition Evergreen Video
Nrthwnd replied to DegoRed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That was great!!! I especially enjoyed that "Little Touch of Dino" there at the end creds, heh heh. Looked like another winner to me, I'd say. Congrats on another successful creation! Hey - for Dec/2006...... maybe.... "Tree'd Monster"? Thanks for sharing the results. Nice trim to my new year's start. -
Well --- the photo copies are nice and clear....? (clears throat) Wow - each and (most of) every Sidebar lead-in - Tour Pic! Very nice. I want whatever Mark is sitting on/in... (Bad bear.) (...and might as well add a bit of Lava Girl 'on the side,' since they'll eventually find AND use that one, too, LOLOL!)'

Nrthwnd replied to Jim Disney's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks for another great update, Jim. Hope the Holly-DAZE Week or so didn't grind ya down into worthless siftings of nutmeg, ar ar. Always enjoy what you post - and more! -
Candy I got in my Christmas stocking! And a closeup of 'the rest of it'..... (o: For those with a more 'acoholic leaning...' The whole bunch of everything!

^ At 14, you're still allowed to "lie a bit." Hey - it's part of growing up, hmm? Just as long as it doesn't really hurt anybody, including yourself.

Oops. Wow. I must have looked at it a few times before posting, and still didn't see. You are most right. I did mean 2004. Silly ole bear I is..... thanks for pointing it out, lol. Have edited, accordingly.

oohhhhhh - moving - on - track - oooooohhhhhhh (drool) I cannot wait to see the first POV posted of this puppy. And also, like I suggested before, I betcha that the last row seats, up against the 'donkey engine' will furnish a great eye-opening view of the 'tour' as well. Thanks muchly, Jose. I couldn't get any of your vids to work, so thanks again for these grabs from the screen.

Nrthwnd replied to TheStig's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
LOL Great little vid there, Colin. So what's your take on what it "tastes like"? Hmmm??? EDIT - Just noted you described the taste as..... really? Really??? -
I'm not looking ahead. That's too....um... serious? Don't really know how many other days there are. I just go with it, when the date turns up, etc. Think of something, then post.

[WDS 2007] Tower of Terror
Nrthwnd replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Tokyo's I believe, opens this year, yes? Then Paris' opens in the fall of '07. What I heard. ~ ~ ~ And Tom (Shockwave), I think you're right about the speed in which the both of these particular TofTs are going up. I.E. FAST? To me, it appears (to me) that now that they've got "the hang" of building two of them so far, and there are still probably significant differences in all four as to how they are put together, the basic 'stuff' seems to be a done deal in raising the main framework of the main building, etc. And the building(s) itself/themself. Or maybe it's all in our imagination, heh heh heh. -
I think that basically, we've been posting existing attractions that can already be ridden. But you're definitely right about EE - it's a ride totally themed to the max. We all hope. (EDIT - And I did 'sort of' mention EE in my previous post here, a page back.)

^^ My reaction was to your first line there, with "either men or women" in it? I was just pointing out that there are a good number of peeps out there who are attracted to both sexes. 23 of them here, as far as this poll shows, so far. Nothing more. Wasn't trying to corner you, or trap you into admitting or defending anything of your own orientation. Hey - I'm in that 19% m'self, heh heh.

Since nobody in TPR here has a birth-day today... I did a bit of hunting around, and thru my local papers.... found a body! Happy Birthday Taye Diggs! (34 today) He's the actor who played the pianoman in the film 'Chicago,' and was in the Orig.Broadway Cast of 'RENT'... and is in the film version of same, too! And for some real random trivia - he's married to Idina Menzel, also in RENT (both Brdwy and Film), and who was the 2004 Tony Winner as Elphaba, The Mean Green Witch of the West, in "Wicked." 8)

Nrthwnd replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Am BUMP-bump-A-bumping this up a bit here, since chat in the Disney Paris Studios' TofT is getting a bit 'sidelined' with this one.... Just helping out. -
[WDS 2007] Tower of Terror
Nrthwnd replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Um, not trying to re-direct the above few postings about TDS' ToT, but.... (EDIT - Already BUMPed the thread needed...) Hope this helps in keeping the two of'em a bit separate? -
Hmmmmph. I wish they were doing the "dry version" of Aquatopia, at DizzyParee Studios, and not the Kelp Kups (TDS) and/or Lady Bug Boogie (DCA) version that it's going to really get...doubled. For the "Cars" attraction, I mean... Ah, well. Continued good showing of what you're up to, when awake, lol.

Ever tried Bi-? I haven't, but some peeps I know claim it's a "real great deal," heh heh. You can like both men and women, nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more.

Wow. That looks great! What city is this RailwayMuseum located, in The Netherlands? And for me, Disney does it best for both queues and attractions, when it comes to making the ride fit the area it's in, etc. Universal took a good run at it, with IOA. But there are only so many ways you can disguise a steel or wooden coaster w/o completely building it into the attraction itself (read: Exp.Everest?). Dueling Dragons is a good try, it's still a great-themed queue building and then.... two coasters, what else? Revenge of the Mummy (UF) was great, and I only wish it lasted longer, heh heh. Still... If Disney had their original way, the whole ride (Dragons) would be inside a mountain "beside the castle", or a mammoth castle itself, trust me. Not just at the loading station. That's why, EE is going to work, because even they aren't sure how to theme one of them beasties, heh heh. Yet. And a 'normal' rolle-o-coaster (altho, with some twists here and there, lol) for now, works for their location, theme, Backstory, etc. To their liking, for now.

[WDS 2007] Tower of Terror
Nrthwnd replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow. What A View that is going to be, when you come up from the train station! Or even from the parking lot. Mmm, m! No doubt where my attention will be drawn, in just over a year or so from now, heh heh. Altho it won't be opened yet, it's shure gonna look purty towering over them studios, yep! Not to mention a new coaster there, too, YAY CRUSH's TT!
