  1. No. Never did. Never will. Do you always eat dessert at the end of a meal?
  2. No, I'm old. You're heading for a Mid-life Crisis Adventure! Enjoy your ride.
  3. "I Will Play You A Rhapsody" Burton Cummings
  4. ^ (giggle) ^ anyway... Will still get the six-pack, mmm'k?
  5. Well maybe at 7pm PST, or an hour or so later, when you get him home, we'll all have a brew, in our respecitive homes, for Buddy's Happy Arrival! I will go to our local gov't liquor store (beer and wine too, that's how our province operates things currently, sadly) and pick out a particular beer I haven't tried, get a six pack of it, bring it home and on Friday.... A Toast To the Bud! OMG - I just realized - is this a coincidence that dog 'happens' to be named Buddy... as in Bud-weiser? Noooooo....
  6. Do you have a 'special beer' ready to hoist and toast, for the Celebratory Arrival of your new family member? The "The Buddy Brew", heh heh. I'm sure you do and will have one on hand for such a great occasion, but I thought I'd ask.
  7. "Land sakes - thass the biggest piece 'o' dandruff I ever seen!"
  8. Happy Birthday to You - Woo hoo - woo hoo You're closer to 40 now... And - I can't rhyme this ef-ing thing!
  9. Oooooo. I can't wait till we get to use bowling balls, axes and chainsaws!
  10. Actually, I think you can fit one of those new smilies over that 'spot'. How about on it???? Hope it heals fast and less painfully than how you got it, Elissa. ~ ~ ~ Hmmm - could this be a new Photo Chop Contest picture possibility? (Cover the burn spot with 'something tasteful' - then post it, kids!)
  11. ^ Since I like the #3, I will THIRD THE MOTION, lolol. I know it's late, and you're now celebrating "the day after The Day" (heh heh) but I hope that yesterday was a good one for you. (And "for the record," Robb shares his birthday with the "little fella" himself, Gilligan / Bob Denver, who passed away, recently. So I got dib's on that note, lol.)
  12. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Wow Wes, this is wonderful! Thanks to Robb for the suggestion, and thanks to you for taking the time to give us a nice New Year's Happiness Surprise! Better than a Kinder Egg toy any old day! (Did I just say that? omg...)
  13. DON'T TELL THEM ANY MORE! Let them find out for themself when they ride it, heh heh. Then, eventually a POV somewhere in the not-too-distant fu-ture...
  14. Not to re-mention that the Six Flags Season Passes are good for the other Six Flags parks the same season, yes? Paramount passes are too, I seem to remember. Playland in Vancouver has no such thing. The pass is for that park only. And only one really good coaster - the corkscrew is crap and the wild mouse is so old and in need of repairs.... "Western Canada's Premier Amusement Park" is honestly a big flat asphalt carney fair that has nothing on any real theme park. Even SF Enchanted Village, has trees and shade and some shape to it, which is way more appealing IMhO.
  15. Was just cruisin' thru www.Screamscape.com and found this, posted just earlier: Hmmm. Too bad if it's true. Would like to have seen Porta-Potty-Land in 2007.
  16. Saw King Kong yesterday afternoon... This is definitely a movie, to me, about the eyes. It occured to me, during the third hour of this Peter Jackon love-epic, that when it comes to emotion, and catching those human emotions we call love, fear, awe, anger... even in a giant ape, this could be possible. I am still not sure if the length of this piece was really necessary. But it was enjoyable, astounding in some spots and indeed, a really good long ride with a master of storytelling. Jackson wanted to make it longer, and altho I was wondering about a few nips and tucks here and there... well, "Titanic" was just as long, and we all knew how it ended there, hmm? I also enjoyed finding a few little surprises here and there, a couple already known about - but fun to eventually find. Like Andy Serkis in his own role, rather than something he was acting 'for.' And Jackson himself in a swift, fast little cameo was nice, There was even a sweet quick nod to the original Darrow, Fay Wray, in one of the earlier scenes... Won't reveal anything, as that would be mean, hmm? It's definitely worth a look-see on the big screen. The New York setting in the early 30's is worth it alone, besides The Island and The Big Guy himself, lol. out of five s
  17. 'm'gawd! That's even more stalkerish than asking his whereabouts! hahahaha  Actually, it was of the 'thing' in the pic, that whats-his-name was sitting in, that AR&R showed . If Elissa was in it, in the pic, I would have said same thing - hah.
  18. Great, Wally! And soon, you'll have a bit of a backyard for him to run around in, too. Thought of a name yet, or waiting till he gets to you - or maybe Gavin could name him? Never know with kids, hmm? Congrats on the new add-on to your family.
  19. Thanks for sharing your feelings and opinion on "the castle size matter." I think, tho, that the majority of TPR peeps here will agree with you (myself included) that The First Castle of the Disney Empire is surely The One that a good number of us (what is that again?) "Baby Boomers" will always hold near and dear to our hearts - regardless of finger-crushing size, LOL. The probability is, Disney couldn't afford anything bigger, at the time, when DL was first built. And he also wanted to keep everything in the park within a reasonable viewing height, once the 'guests' were inside the surrounding berm that the train circled the park on. The exception now to that, is/was The Matterhorn. But even Space Mountain was sunk down 15 or so feet, so as not to loom over you-know-what, nearby. WDW's Cinderella Castle was built tall so it could be seen from a great distance. The reasoning, or so Disney himself told it before his sad passing in Dec.'66, was that guests who travelled so far to get there (to the WDW property)would want some kind of 'icon' that would tell them they were indeed, getting closer to WDW. Anyway - Tokyo DL wanted an exact replica of the WDW castle, so they got that, and as well, WDW's Haunted Mansion, too. And Paris allowed the imagineers to re-create Sleeping Beauty Castle "all grown up", as I like to put it, heh heh. And hey - it got taller, too! Hong Kong DL wanted to go back to some basics, which meant, The First Castle, which to me looks pretty good with those hillsides in back. When more landscaping grows in, things will be fine, there. The dissing and 'miniaturizing' of Sleep's Domain is all in fun. Gotta love a castle that was built by a mouse, hmmm?
  20. I finally finshed off "un-egging" my KinderEggs from Amsterdam, that I brought back with me in November... And GUESS what the last of the (nine) eggs contained??? (See Below) The (giggle) ass-end of my new little buddy. Side-view, with the cart and all. OMG! It's a you-know what!
  21. The Reaper Drop Ride to Doom (coaster in a no-longer-used church!) @ The Amsterdam Dungeon
  22. We FINALLY got our side of the neighborhood street cleaned! Was filled with leaf crap and mud something-er-other icky, awful, junk. Perfect timing, with no freezing temps. to 'hold up' the clean up, lol.
  23. "Rhapsody In Blue" by George Gershwin Leonard Berstein conducting the Columbia Philharmonic Orchestra 8)
  24. Hey-lo Mrs. Alvey Don't feel like a 'hippie' much, right now. At least in the last several weeks or so. And the way my hair and beard's growing.... hmmmm.... Was wondering about changing the name 'a touch' to - Coasta-Wizard - Also works with the avatar a bit nicer, don't you think/agree/mmm'k? Feels much better for me, right now, and in coming months I betcha. Thanks if you can. Oh, another time, if you can't for now.
  25. Not trying to jump the proverbial gun, or anything.... but... I keep thinking from time to time, if EE is a Huge Success and it proves (still) that Disney has the stuff to do such an attraction justice.... Do you think Disney would ever consider duplicating this attraction, outside of the American parks? I mean, I just (literally)salivate, thinking if they (sorry guys) just took out the Indy coaster in Adventureland, at DisneyParis, and then... you know..... "Build It and They Shall Come?" Or treat it, like some of the attractions (JttCotE;Aquatopia) at Tokyo Disney Seas, and not do so? Just one of those wild, random, "what if ?" things of mine, heh heh.
