  1. Thanks for the advice, but due to restrictions we can only go over Christmas. We are planning on leaving Christmas day, and coming back on January 3rd. We are staying on property at both Disney and Universal (I know Universal offers a special line for resort guests) and I know how to take advantage of Fast Passes at Disney. But i could still use any advice you could give me. Thanks a lot!
  2. Great TR, amazing photos, even if it is making me even more excited for my trip. Cant wait to see the Magic Kingdom photos!
  3. Ok heres my 2 cents. At Cedar Point this October i actually had to talk my friend to not taking pictures on power tower, and I would be the person that would be trying to take the pictures! But honestly think about it, even the smallest digital camera weighs a few ounces, and if that camera is traveling around 25 mph, if that hit anyone, especially in the head, it could seriously hurt them. And 25 mph is still pretty slow, if you dropped a camera off say Power Tower for example, it would be traveling way over 25 mph when it hits someone/the ground. And as WillMontu said in the U.S everyone files lawsuits over everything, remember the whole McDonalds lawsuit where someone sued because they burned themselves on coffee? I say if you want to take pictures on ride, always ask a ride-op, and if they say no don't do it, theres almost always a good reason.
  4. I would love to see them, seeing as my trip to Orlando is only 8 MONTHS AWAY!!! At least im going.
  5. Yes, and if you have them noise cancelling headphones are GREAT, and also bring a book, or two. Other then that don't worry about it, I prefer flying a lot more then driving, the uncomfortable conditions aren't really that bad and its a lot faster.
  6. Georgia Cyclone at SFOG 2 weeks ago...yawn... This is no more, at least where i sat.
  7. Definetly all disney parks, both Universal parks and possibley Sea World. Since i have never been to Universal or Sea World, i would want low crowds as opposed to special events.
  8. Hey R&E, and anyone else who looks at this! My family is planning a trip to Orlando (YAY) and i just wanted to get some advice. One thing i need to know is when to go (hey it rhymes!). Also i want to know what to do, i haven't been since i was 6 and i'm sure it is VERY different. Any advice is much appreciated! EDIT: I thought about it and was thinking about going in June, anybody who has been in June can you tell me how hot/crowded it is?
  9. I think a zero-g roll on a dive machine would be awesome, but again the lateral g's would be a little excessive. It could still happen if it was slowed down, but then it would be more of a jojo roll. As for 4 rows, i would bet its possible, the designer (at this point more then likely B&M) would just have to have the lead in to the drop streched out a little. P.S Welcome to TPR!
  10. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their help, it did help a lot. I had an AWESOME day there with literally 1 train waits for Goliath all day. Photo TR to come soon.
  11. ^Ya Goliath should be a nice way for me to start out the coaster season. Were getting our season passes tomorrow and i am taking full advantage of ERT, which starts at 9:00 correct?
  12. Right, same platform, they mean that its not going to be like Millennium or Dragster where you load/unload on different platforms. The person just wanted to know if you would have to rent a locker or not when you ride. At least that's what i got from that.
  13. ^^I could be wrong but i thought you entered on one side (left if on the train) and leave on the opposite side (right side if on the train). At least i think that's what is in the animation.
  14. Strongest LIM launch: Flight of Fear, i haven't been on many. Agreed.
  15. Awesome, thanks a lot everyone that helps a lot. One more question, if it is crowded and i do want to get a flash pass, whens the best time to get it. Should i hit everything up first and then get it for re-rides or get it first thing when i walk in the park. Again thanks a lot for the help!
  16. I'm going to SFOG this sunday (Easter sunday) and i was wondering if anybody had any advice. I know that if its too crowded ill pay for the flash pass. Also i only have one day there and want to get on as many things as possible. Any advice will be helpful, thanks. EDIT: Forgot to say, if anyone wants to come i would love to meet up with some people.
  17. It snowed all night here , so no testing now. Also new blog entry about the lights http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/blog/index.cfm Also...
  18. Just a quick question for anyone who has been, I'm going this sunder (Easter sunday) and just wanted to know how bad the crouds are going to be. Any help?
  19. ^I'm not sure, its been over 70 the past two days, i wouldn't blame them for starting early. BTW the website is back up, not the web-cams though. Click Here if your that lazy.
  20. Nice TR, wow the park actually looks...really nice. I'm glad to see Six Flags trying to turn things around. Kevin"Cold Stone > Any other ice cream"M.
  21. No go-carts come with admission, and their tracks are a lot better then a lot of parks.
  22. Just a small note, the train that was in the station is now back out on the track, just before the lift. Maybe testing isnt so out of the question, it was 65 today
  23. Its sunny right now (and still light outside at 7:00! ) but its like mid 30's. I want spring
  24. ^I wouldn't be worried about that, it REALLY helps the show. The theatre in Chicago is in a very small building but when you get inside it doesn't feel very small at all, and it really does add to the personal affect of the show.
  25. OK I'm thoroughly disturbed, that is just...i don't know I'm speechless. I don't even have a dream to post, i never remember them, i just had to comment on that dream
