On Saturday I got to see The Fray/Jack's Mannequin at DTE...Pine Knob. Jack's Mannequin put on an AMAZING performance, I was totally surprised. So surprised that I downloaded both of their CD's when I got home . The Fray did a great job as well, playing a good mix of their "older" stuff and stuff from their new album. However, and I'm not totally sure why, their performance felt like there was something left to be desired. In all honesty it was pretty close to the EXACT same concert as when I saw them 2 years ago...a lot of the same songs too cause they played a few of their new songs then as well. Overall though it was a great concert, and there was only one song that I didn't hear that I wanted to.

It's 11:30pm and it's still 77° outside, and it's supposed to get up to 92° tomorrow while at Cedar Point, should be fun.

Sunny and a nice and warm 77°. Supposed to go up to the lower/mid 80's later this week.

O man am I jealous . I wanted to go so bad last year but due to lack of interest it never happened, and unfortunately its the same story this year. Hope you had fun, sounds like it would be an awesome thing to see. I do believe Windsor got quite a lot more advertising then Detroit this year, I remember seeing a billboard somewhere in Ohio labeling this area as "Windsor" not even saying anything about Detroit.

^I watched most of it. Overall I thought it was pretty good. I LOVED Billy Elliot, and I really want to see it live now! That kid did an amazing job with the once scene they showed. Next to Normal looked promising, good story and all, but it took me a little while to get into the music. I thought Rock of Ages actually looked kinda funny, but I really wouldn't go out to see it. Shrek...should have never been adapted into a musical. I'm definitely more of a musical person but I really would love to see God of Carnage after last night, seems like it's an outstanding play.

Awesome summer as far as concerts go so far, here's what's lined up: The Fray w/ Jack's Mannequin, June 27th Warped Tour, July 31st Blink 182/Fall Out Boy/Panic at The Disco, August 22nd I'm thoroughly happy with that lineup

^Really? I honestly did not find the original X that rough at all. Bouncy yes...VERY bouncy, but not really rough. As for me the roughest coaster I've been on is probably Gwazi, Mean Streak is a pretty close second.

^^So was that a part of the FIRST Vex program or something separate using the VEX materials? I've been on a FIRST FRC team for 3 years now and love it! It's been such a great experience and I've met tons of great people.

^^Lucky! Sounds like a sweet concert! ^ You know same here! Mmhmm was an AWESOME CD and I was obsessed with it for the longest time. Even their EP that came out after that was pretty good. But I really don't like their newer stuff as much and they kinda fell out for me.

Great TR, thanks for all the information. Glad to hear about the fans in Raptors queue, I remember it getting VERY hot in there on a sunny day last year. I'll be going on Thursday this week for a school trip and will have a Photo TR up in a week *hopefully*.

Saw (takes deep breath) Fall Out Boy/All Time Low/Metro Station/Cobra Starship/Hey Monday at the EMU Convocation Center last night. AMAZING concert! Every single band put on a great show. Hey Monday was alright, pretty good for a new band but I hadn't really heard anything by them before. Metro Station surprised me by actually...performing alright on stage. Fall Out Boy blew me away, I really wasn't expecting much from them from previous things I've heard about them live but OMG they sounded great, it was a VERY pleasant surprise. And of course, Cobra Starship and All Time Low were amazing, as always . Some pictures (I apologize for the blurry-ness, no tripod with me=blurry pictures): Highlight of the night! Meeting Zach from All Time Low. Really great guy, didn't get to spend much time with him due to the MASS of people. Fall Out Boy put on a truly amazing performance. TOTALLY unexpected from them. All Time Low, one of my all time favorite bands (heh...no pun intended), did an amazing job as they consistently do. Metro Station was surprisingly good, didn't expect a whole lot from them but they did an alright job. Cobra Starship was on next. I wasn't sure what to expect but they did a great job, loved them. Hey Monday opened; for such a new band they did a good job.

Have two (maybe 3) concerts planned so far. Next one coming up is Fall Out Boy/All Time Low/Cobra Starship/Metro Station/Hey Monday at the EMU Convocation center, totally can't wait!

MMMMMM Gino's East pizza... makes me want to get up and drive the 4 1/2 hours to Chicago just to get it! Great TR, Chicago is definitely one of my favorite cities that I've been to.
