  1. Here's My Review of Coaster Expedition Volume 5: Japan-a-Mania and MORE!!!!!: I received this DVD for Christmas and Have watched it many times. I think the music choices are great ("Hell Song" for Fuji-Q!) and there are POVs of Coasters that you can't find on YouTube!(The Dinosaur Coaster @ Expoland, Hamster Coaster, Etc) My only complaint while minor, is this: on the Tokyo Disneyland video, It would have been better for you to Make "What dreams are made of" only Disneyland and "The Sailor Song" only DisneySea. The Coaster vids are pretty good quality, and I love the look on Dan's face as he sees the covered splashdown boat at Expoland!Over all, I give this DVD a 8.749999/10.
  2. I just now discovered these and think they're great. My favorite, though, is #47. Did you eventually get to wash your hands?
  3. Never thought of that. How far away is Chimelong from Beijing?
  4. The RolloCoaster on Oct. 13, 2007. Photo from Themeparkreview.com

  6. SONG: Relax ARTIST: The Who ALBUM: The Who Sell Out
  7. I never thought of that! Thanks! The lines might be long, though. I'm going to hit up SDL or Comet first, depends on which line is longer.
  8. My Student Council is planning a trip to Washington D.C. and HersheyPark the last weekend in May. I think we're going to Hershey on the 31st(ugh! Memorial Day!) and I've never been there before. I want to ride SooperDooperLooper first, because, if my logic is correct, everybody will rush to Farenheit and forget about SDL. That's all i Know about the park. Any tips?
  9. Idlewild is my home park. Hmm...... classic woodie, or Vekoma mouse, classic woodie, or Vekoma Mouse....... I'd have to say the Rollo Coaster. In the back it provides decent , especially on the double dip. (0:15-0:20 in vid in sig.) Also FIXED LAPBARS!!!! The mouse is OK. The only bad part is the tilted lift hill. (PIC FROM RCDB!!!!) Best flat is a toss-up between the Howler and the Flying aces.
  10. Thanks! I just discovered that I'm only getting Vol. 5 for Christmas, so I'm going to post a review then!
  11. That REALLY doesn't answer my question. I get it if it's a joke, but I'm wondering if it is or if it isn't(a joke). Don't ask me why.
  12. Not to sound like a total noob, but what's a TPR bag-o-crap? Considering I'm going to post TWO reviews soon(CE's 5&7) and wonder A: What a bag-o-crap is and B: will I get one?
  13. Snoopy's Great Race at Universal Studios Japan.
  14. Sorry to bump a month-old thread, but a few days a go we were having a discussion anout coasters at lunch, and one of my friends said, "The Back is slower than the front."I was like "ok.........."
  15. IDLEWILD IS GOING CORPORATE?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! My home park, known for it's charm, Voted #2 best kid's park, home to the world's only Vekoma Mouse(Ok, maybe THAT's not the best thing...), the world's only Caterpillar ride, A Classic Coaster, and many more are reasons why I love that park. Knowing it's corporate will only make me feel weird every time I go there. If the remove my precious mouse, I will SCREAM!!!!!!!* *My Reasoning: Both times went this year (June & October) it was closed!
  16. As you can probably tell by my sig and avatar, I'm relatively a newbie. I JUST got back into coasters this summer, when I attended a Roller Coaster camp. A member of ACE came and he talked about coasters with him.,But hey, I digress. Plans for 2008: Hersheypark-Student Council trip NEW CREDITS: all Idlewild-Church picnic NEW CREDITS: none Kennywood-Band trip NEW CREDITS: Li'l Phantom(?) SFGAm: Aunt's Work trip NEW CREDITS: all Those most likely will happen. Here are some that probably wont: King's Dominion:? New Credits: all King's Island:? new credits: all Cedar Point:? New Credits:All I hope to break 30 credits this year!
  17. I hope to get Volumes 5&7 for Christmas, so I'll post my reviews then. If it's anything like the video's I've seen, I'll like it!
  18. The "Cutback" looks more like an overbanked turn to me, and RCDB doesn't list a cutback: http://rcdb.com/id3727.htm
  19. The Phantom's Revenge didn;t really get me when I rode it, but when I rode the Thuderbolt for the first time I was like, "Is it just me, or is the Phantom track TOO close to the TB?" on the drop out of the station. This is a picture when it was The Steel Phantom, but the WOW factor is still there!
  20. . Just a nitpicker here if it's this song: http://youtube.com/watch?v=v7A8Mkg1qYQ It's "The Impression that I get," not Knock on Wood!
