I've never met Piers but those two videos have left me laughing hysterically. I didn't think anyone could get drunker than the first update, but the bus video proved me wrong. Great second day update! -

^ I'm in the minority with you. I love Great Bear. Then again, I'm not one that analyzes every coaster I go on. If I laugh on the ride, it's a good one to me. I'm hoping to get to Hershey on a Saturday in September, if all goes according to plan I haven't been there in a couple seasons, and want to get back. -

So it took me 3 days, but I finally caught up on all of this. Great reports. I loved reading everything Nicole -
Definitely do Dorney and Knoebels. The Phoenix is awesome, and I'll rave about the food. The pizza is some of the best, and the funnel cakes are amazing, and the Fries, Perogies, and Tri-Taters are just as awesome. Knoebels is also just relaxing, you don't have the rush of let's go here, let's go there, you can just wander around the park and admire the beauty of it as well. Nicole

It wasn't horrible, but I'm sure I won't be jumping in line to ride it again I think once I got over my fear of the laying down thing, It wasn't so bad. But I didn't like the cage thing, If it had a Superman: Ultimate Flight type restraints, I think I would have liked it better. Nicole -

Part 2 of Wonderland Silver Streak, loved this kiddie coaster. It was a nice break from all the other riding I did all day, but I think the cutest thing was in front of us, a kid maybe 6 or 7 at most, was riding with his mom, and after he got buckled in, he turns and said to his mom, "Mommy don't scared." She just grinned and said she wasn't. Just happened to be coming from Silver Streak into Planet Snoopy and Charlie Brown and Snoopy were out. Then Sally arrived a short time later. Lucy came out after Sally... wait, that doesn't sound right. Oh well Lastly, Linus arrived. Linus is one of my favorite Peanuts characters. Sign. All I took of Ghoster Coaster. Mainly because I forgot. I liked this one for a woodie. Fly Sign. The sun was starting to set, so I didn't that great of picture of Fly. All I got of Fly. Thunder Run sign. All I got of the ride. It was getting late, and I was tired, and I didn't think about taking a picture till right before we got on. Fish in the water. I think we were walking back around to take some pictures of ride signs I missed. My friend and I played Whack-a-mole. I won this for her. And I also have been dubbed as having "anger management" issues and should play whack-a-mole more often as a stress reliever. Sign in the gift shop listing the roller coasters. Entry way shot. At the restaurant across the way, we made a list of the roller coasters we rode, ran out of time to ride, and the two coasters that we need to wait until my friends niece is a bit older and borrow her for a day. The non amusement park part of the trip, my friend is a horse rider and she shows her horse, so she took me to the barn and I got to meet her horse Strider. This is me sitting on Strider getting ready for a walk around the ring. I won't lie. It was kind of nerve wracking. But he was a good horse for me. Close up of Strider. Heading back to the US after a whirlwind weekend with my friend. This concludes my Canada's Wonderland trip. I can't wait to go back and visit in a couple years Up Next, Great Adventure report, sometime this weekend. Nicole -

Canada's Wonderland May 29th, 2010 Over Memorial Day weekend, I went to go visit my friend Jo up in Toronto. After some stressful work moments, where I didn't think I was going to get to go to Toronto, I made it up there. (Only time I got lost was when Yahoo didn't print out all the steps for the directions to her place.) Friday night, since I got there so late, she had food ordered and delivered. We ate and I crashed. Saturday, we were up early, and made our way to the park getting there just about Park opening time. In all we rode 10 coasters that day. Jo likes to ride all types of rides, but I'm more of the coaster person (spinning rides and I don't get along too well. Learned that one the hard way at Knoebels back in 2005 and again in 2007.) I'll break Wonderland into two posts, 20 pictures each. On my way to Canada. View of the park from the Car. Flight Deck, little did I know at the time, I'd tossed about like a rag doll. Time Warp, very nervous about riding this as it was my first flying type coaster. The main reason we are at the park. Behemoth. After riding this awesome ride. You can't really tell how I'm grinning like a fool here. Behemoth just getting ready to drop down the first hill. I'll admit it. I kind of freaked out on the lift hill. Wasn't so fond of having nothing along the sides of the lift hill. But after the first drop I forgot about freaking out, and thought this ride was amazing. Sign. I tried and tried, but yet couldn't time the shot to get the car coming out. I thought it was nice, but a bit rough in spots. More sign. I'm still not really sure what I thought while on the ride, there was sun glare, so my eyes were closed and I was hoping that my brain wasn't going to end up as scrambled eggs. The car in front of Coasters Drive in. Signage. The best thing about the meal were the fries. My hot dog was bleh. Flight Deck. Ride of evil. That was one of our longest waits. I think the lift hill and the first drop were the best parts for me. Everything else just scrambled my brains some more picking up where Minebuster left off. Peppermint Patty was our handstamp for the day. Another sign. I like to take pictures of all the signs of rides I went on. Goose near the queue for SkyRider. I won't tell you how many pictures I took to get that shot while in line for SkyRider. Sign. SkyRider, didn't really get that many good shots of this. Another shot of SkyRider. I liked this ride. I don't think I was "oh this ride is completely awesome" but I thought it was pretty good for a standing coaster. Rest of Wonderland coming up in the next post. Nicole -
Photo TR:Dorney park and pictures of the laser

Great pictures I'm guessing you went in 2008? Since it has Possessed has the Voodoo name? And as for Dorney, I think it's just missing the atmosphere, it used to be a nice park, but in my opinion over the years the quality of staffers, and people going there (along, the rude, ignorant, line cutting type people), has made Dorney a less than desirable park. Even though it's what we would classify as my "home" park, I just don't see the appeal all that much anymore (besides to ride awesome coasters). Nicole -
No kids, quite single actually. Kids tend to cry or scream when they come anywhere near me. I have seen on my Facebook page that the people who are my age who have kids (and more than 1) seem to be quite judgemental to each other. I just don't get it. Is it like parents just want to be in their minds "the best" and anything that's different than their style is wrong or something? I just don't understand why people would be rude to each other that way though. Nicole
