  11. What a great TR Elissa That would be an awesome place to try some different types of food I don't normally eat. Thanks for sharing this with us!
  12. With firefox, it loaded slightly slower than the rest of TPR pages. But maybe 3-5 seconds slower. I'm on my mom's computer which is windows 7, with firefox 3.6.13 as my browser. I loaded it in IE 8.0 and there was maybe a second difference between the two, but if you weren't looking out for load speeds, one would say they loaded at the same time. The only difference I notice is that the text on the ad in IE is centered correctly, while in Firefox the text is down just a little bit off the white box. Loading park pages, clicking both the same park in IE and Firefox, they loaded at the same time.

What is the longest "subtitle" of the Coaster Expedition DVD series? -CE7: Around the World with Theme Park Review 5. What date was KidTums born? -March 3, 2007 6. What unique feature did Montu have which has since been removed? -Live crocodiles 7. What was the "bonus coaster" on Roller Coasters in the RAW Volume 1? - Wild guess but the Sky Princess at Dutch Wonderland 8. How many "Wacky Worm" Roller Coasters are in Australia? -0 9. True or False: Robb & Elissa have been to La Ronde. -False 10. How many Disney theme parks have opened their doors to the public (list them). -Disneyland -Disney's Califnornia Adventure -Magic Kingdom -Epcot -Disney's Hollywood Studios -Disney's Animal Kingdom -Tokyo Disneyland -Tokyo DisneySea -Disneyland Park -Walt Disney Studios Park -Golf Disneyland -Hong Kong Disneyland And on that note, I just spent a couple hours procrastinating on work doing this. Back to work time now. But I had fun.
  14. Just saw the changes too. Looks great
  15. Definitely considering this, just working out some logistics of it since it'll be 2 days after getting home from the NE trip.
  16. It looks amazing. Thank you for the fantastic report. I'm now looking into booking a cruise next year.
  17. Great pictures and report. This whole expansion looks absolutely amazing. I need to plan to get down there sometime.
  18. ^ There's more to come and I'm sure you'll be in those pictures too.
  19. My eyes maybe scarred for life from the Lady Gaga video. and you're right, I've never met Piers but he could so totally own that class. That ice cream looks amazing.
  20. I liked the smaller parks too. I'm glad, Laurie and I made the decision to go visit them. Someday I'll get back to them.
  21. You didn't miss it. I started it this summer, then I got busy, and realized I never resized the pictures for a trip report. Then I noticed I never kept up with this. So I brought it back up from the dead and am trying to get all my stuff up from last year so it'll be good to go this year And yes, he sat on a plastic lawn chair.
  22. August 13-14, 2010 Next up we have the trip that almost didn't happen. The weekend before this trip happened my grandmother passed away, and the funeral was the following week. I had all intentions of not going on this trip, when my parents insisted, I go get away, and to be with a friend. Was I an emotional wreck that weekend, yes. Am I kind of emotional now thinking about this trip and it's really the first time I've looked at the photos since then. But I had did have fun, driving around Altoona, and eating good food and riding rides. My parents were right, I needed this trip more than I had realized at the time. Ok, enough with the sappy crap, time for the pictures. First up this entry is Lakemont: Stayed at the Motel 6 in the area. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't fantastic either. It smelled like smoke for a smoke free room. Where we ate breakfast. Said breakfast. Quite tasty. Sign! Made it. The road the park is off of was under construction. Missed the entrance twice, almost ended up at the ball park parking lot, but I found the right one to turn into. Leap the Dips. Main reason, I wanted to check this place out. Prices for last season (2010). I rode the Skyliner enough to justify the wristband. Typical self portrait. You can see I'm not 100% into it. Mini Golf. Didn't play though. It looked cute. Skyliner. I actually liked this. It didn't feel that rough, when riding in the morning. It also felt like it wasn't going to make it around the whole track either. But the afternoon, it was a whole different ride. The rest of Skyliner. Skyliner track. I think they aren't sure what they are experiencing. Walked around the back of the ride and there was just enough gap to stick my camera in and get a nice shot of the stadium. Track on the antique cars. Took a picture of Laurie driving her car. Since I was sad that OCMD, and Trimpers removed theirs I had hope of riding the one at Lakemont. But... Nope. Closed for maintenance. *tear* Yes, I like these rides. It was my first coaster at 5 years old. And yes, I'm aware it beats your brains around bashes your back like no other. But it's still a version of my first coaster. New ride, maybe this year? Ride parts. Look we're dorks, we're holding our Leap the Dips tickets. Lift hill! The guy pulling the break thing. Yes, I know there's a technical name, I just don't know it. Random old train car? It was sitting there near the train ride. Though it looks like old coaster cars too. The randomly cute guys who were the train drivers, and probably way too many years too young for me. Skyliner from the train ride. View of some waterslides at the waterpark. It wasn't very busy over there, if it was open at all that day. Nerd shot of Leap the Dips. Last but not least at Lakemont, we have me attempting the kiddie playground equipment. As it stands, Equipment 1, Me 0.
