A 200 ft. racing version of Exelerator could always be a possibility...why does everyone assume that if it's an intamin launcher it has to top 400 + feet? -
[NL] Behemoth
KDCOASTERFAN replied to KDCOASTERFAN's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
This may take a while since I'm having trouble uploading the screenshots.Since I'm having trouble uploading screens I'll try uploading the track instead. Behemoth.nltrack -
After spending days working on the track & figuring out how to design the supports my first coaster in no limits,Behemoth is finally completed. The ride is set to run two six car trains(but isn't a recreation of the ride at CWL) & has good pacing & speed. I'll try to get pics up ASAP but I'm not sure I'll be able to upload the track to the forums for download.

The "Preview" Thread

Now that I've figured out how to do steel supports I'm getting back to work on my B&M hyper,Behemoth(not a recreation) & so far it's looking good but on testing the train fails to advance from the blocks just before the station so I'll have to work on that after finishing the supports. -
If only I had the custom scenery used for the station & queue I'd download it when it's ready. I'm working on my own B&M hyper right now & have everything done except for the supports which are turning out to be a total pain in the a$$....I swear why is there no auto support generator for use with steel supports?

B&M and 240 feet...
KDCOASTERFAN replied to itsasamccormick's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't think so,at least for a lift only moving at 3 to 5 MPH but the drop however would pose another issue alltogether. -

I agree & don't be too suprised if it turns out to be an intamin mega rather than a B&M hyper as there's no documented proof that CF entered into a multi coaster contract with B&M or anyone else for that matter. -

The stakes(at least two of them) are directly under the brakerun & almost on top of the footers & have the pink flags on them....I noticed it yesterday while getting off the ride to photograph the construction progress. -
Six Flags NJ Really Zero Flags

I'm far from well-off but my priorities are just enough out of whack that when I go to a big park like Great Adventure or Over Georgia I will spring for the Flash Pass. In my opinion, it's not a question of how much money you have, it's about how you want to spend what money you do have. Actually with the way SF parks run the system it's just another reason not to patronize their parks...case in point SFA reserving a whole train specificlly for flashpass riders, thus making guests wait longer in the queue, which is just one more reason why I stopped going there. At least CF parks, such as KD don't treat their guests in this manner & they make every effort when possible to run rides at full capacity. -

I end up getting error trappers when building a giga using a cable lift due to a bug that's supposedly in the game. -

^You'd have a problem with the overhead powerlines, not just for track position but during construction as well because it only takes one sudden gust of wind to send the crane & it's payload swinging into those lines, also the space behind volcano is quite narrow so it's be hard to fit anything in back there. I think that large footer seen in one of the pics may be for the brakerun since it's so wide & the space between support connections is so small. -
THRILL POINT LA [RCT2]

Great design on the station....looks like I may have to print the shot so I can copy the basic design.Where can I get the custom supports? I know that there was a support pack included with the catwalks but the ones I have look nothing like those seen in the screens. -
For NL "circle builders"
KDCOASTERFAN replied to Loefet's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Has anyone got any screenshots of these "tools" in action? I wouldn't mind seeing some before downloading the file & risking an error occuring with my copy of NL,much like the one that happened with RCT3 -

The lapbar isn't the problem but good lord who was the idiot who designed the OTSR for the looping starship? Those things are just plain horrid & are simply not bio-engineered correctly at all. -

I vaguely remember Thrills, Chills, and Spills. Why did Discovery stop doing it? Was it not all that popular? I think they stopped producing it for two reasons: the first being that the parks were no longer able to add major coasters every other year due to the economy & post 9/11 impact on tourism & 2:Discovery channel developed an obsession with that american chopper garbage & decided to run memorial day marathons of AC in it's place. Discovery used to have all around good programs such as their first ride/park documentary titled wild rides which debutted in 96 I believe but now the network has become just a complete waste of time what with the worldwide focus shifting from educational to reality based programming...they seem to have traded AC in for their latest obsession/craze all things crab fishing almost 24/7(cough deadliest catch cough) & I'm sick of it.

The restraints on the 4-D are butterfly restraints I believe & if they're so good(which I don't doubt) then why havn't we seen other designers use something similar yet? I'm really starting to hate the premier lap bars lately because they're a really tight fit to get into & having that hard plastic in your ribcage isn't the most comfortable experience that's for sure.
