Wow that looks really cool. I like the different colors in the supports actually. This really reminds me of a roller skater type motorbike coaster... I saw these advertised at IAAPA several times, but for some reason I thought they just made the vehicles for the Vekoma Booster Bikes, not an actual coaster. -Justin

Wow... Lots of interesting posts. I was expecting to come home and see a topic with maybe 2 or 3 replies, this is cool to see everyone's opinions. Anyways, by messed up I kindof meant a coaster that does crazy stunts, or unusual stuff that gives you just an INSANE feeling. But hearing some of the "messed up" stories from people sounds weird too... I think I went through some posts where someone said Mummy, I couldn't agree more. Mummy is simple but the launched lifthill into the airtime/WTF?!/Turn thing/hill is NUTS. Not only does it have crazy airtime, but its just weird! Same with reading about Chiller.... Those Premiers and their Top Hats... Mr. Freeze backwards was maybe one of the most screwed up tricks you could put on a ride. -Justin "Keep Them Coming!"

Best Six Flags Park
Mr. Volcano replied to MSLSM's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I put other... Ive been to a couple of good SF parks I really like, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags over Texas, Six Flags over Georgia.... all really good ones, but my favorite would have to be SFoG. The atmosphere there is really cool, its got nice sized midways, classic rides, the terrain is cool, and its just a pretty park. (Never had problems with the staff or anything there either) Plus, you gotta love Monster Mansion! -Justin -
Well the title gives it away, dont think this has been done yet... so I thought it would be neat to kindof start something new here... What coaster moments do you think are the most screwed up? Name the top 3 for you... For me its probably... 1). Hypersonic XLC's Launch (Extremely fast, and powerful) 2). Wicked Twister's backwards twist (This was just a plain sick idea...) 3). Expedtion Everest's Backwards Helix (Surprisingly very disorienting, nauseating, makes you dizzy, and its just crazy!) -Justin

I think alot of the superheros look alike. Maybe Robb has secret clones that are secretly superheros, OR, Robb is in a clan of superheros Anyways nice update, I'm sure everyone who is able to attend Tatsu media day will be pleased, it looks awesome. I wonder if you can actually EAT the egg turn on Tatsu. *scratches head* -Justin -

LOL! Such a long post of honest and true words... maybe he was so stunned he couldn't say anything else but that. Anyways, this looks blantly like a tourist trap for American Coaster Enthusiasts (well not the group but pretty much Coaster Enthusiasts that are American to come in the park) and then... who knows link: But yeah, you're definately braver than I am, I would have stayed wide away from that.. I know one thing for sure, "Makes Cypress look like Disney World" -Justin -
Never heard of Eric the Viking but I love War of the Worlds and Fantastic Four (Any of the War of the worlds actually) I just noticed that this topic was Movies you LOVE that people dont, these are pretty much movies I enjoy watching and in some cases love, but the ones I listed aren't necessarily my favorites Except War of the Worlds... both the new and old one are surprisingly scary *trembles of the fact of alien horror* -Justin

Mr. Volcano replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Wow BGT is alot of fun now. I think over the last few years they've improved it with all the recent changes (the new gate, painting of alot of buildings, some of the staff seems better, parks cleaner and better landscaping, new thrill ride, etc.. etc..) If I may ask though whats BGA stand for?? Busch Gardens Adventure..? Hmm.. Looks like alot of fun, great update! -Justin -

Great Photos and Trip Reports! I really wish I could have gone, maybe next time though! Anyways, it looks like you guys had an amazing time, (not hard in Orlando is it?) Glad to see you liked Everest, its a really cool ride, and smooth for a Vekoma.. at least for now it is anyways. Well glad to see you guys had a great time and a safe trip home! -Justin "I'm all ready for HHN 06'" -
IOA Photo Update 3/4/06
Mr. Volcano replied to Thrasher's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hey, great pics! Its nice to see allitle update too, although I have renewed my Universal pass I haven't been able to go in quite awhile. It looks like the Suess Landing Monorail is going along nicely, its confusing to look at though and try to tell whats going on lol.. Was that Dr. Suess Hand always there or is it new? I know that sounds lame but I cant tell if it was just painted or a new addition... thats pretty bad huh? I'm not sure why IOA extended the tunnel like that but I'm sure they had some reason, maybe people were throwing stuff at the train when it was going by or something, who knows. It doesn't look REALLY bad but I'll miss seeing Hulk fly out of the little mist tunnel for sure. Anyways, great pics, thanks for the update! -Justin -
Fuji-Q Highlands Discussion Thread
Mr. Volcano replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Great update, I guess we kind of got what we were looking for the mysterious whats going to happen on that Raven turn. I guess I thought that might be the lifthill into that dive but when I saw that it was kindof similiar to X it didn't take me by surprise that much really. I thought about the possibilities of how they could do an inverted lifthill on a fourth dimension like that and move the staircase, the most probable answer would be to make it like a flying coaster or an inverted lifthill, I guess. Anyways, the layout seems like it might be similiar to X but with a few different tricks and in a little bit of a different order, definately looks cool though. -Justin -
Thanks for the photos and videos guys! They were great, It looks like your quick trip there was still alot of fun, I cant believe how close the coaster gets to the hotel room, thats pretty cool but kindof crazy lol. Hopefully someday I will be able to do this park, it looks like it has alot of neat stuff. -Justin

Theme Park Review's Spring Party!
Mr. Volcano replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hmmm. Ouch. Hahaha, I didn't realize how stupid that comment was until I re-read the reply and was like "oh yeah, I guess halfway across the country would be in texas... or something." No more waking up at 6:30 in the morning and eating frosted flakes right away, then getting on the computer and posting while your "halfway" tired. -Justin "yeah Florida isn't halfway across the country from CA..." -
Ohhh!! Kumba got painted! It's about time, I was starting to think that ride would sit there and rust forever! I mean you could actually start to see the metal on some of the corkscrews from the rusted paint, it's good to know they did something to touch it up. Anyways, it sounds like you had a good trip, I'm glad you liked SheiKra, its a pretty cool ride and I agree that the first drop is really amazing, and surprisingly one of the more intense drops out there (Right up there with Millennium force). -Justin

Theme Park Review's Spring Party!
Mr. Volcano replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Aw man, its too bad I live halfway across the country where nothing fun happens at all! Anyways, sounds like you guys are going to have a fun party, maybe sometime I will be able to do a Get-Together Alvey party but for now I'll have to stick with the meet ups at some of the more local parks to me. -Justin -
Sorry to get COMPLETELY off subject, I just saw Pink Panther tonight with Steve Martin. Decent remake, but Peter Seller's performance on the original series was still great. On other hand I'm watching "8 Mile" right now, its been okay so far, its kindof one of those "F" this "F" that movies, but I'm getting into it somehow. -Justin "yay I love movies"

Magic Kingdom
Mr. Volcano replied to 24's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Wow! Great Work! I dont remember alot about RCT3 since I never played it as much as RCT2 (I guess there is some small details in RCT2 that I like more than RCT3) but I didn't know you could go into such precision on things with this game as much as I thought. Everything looks pretty accurate so far, Space Mountain kindof looks like a giant pyramid but thats always been a hard ride to crack on RCT, and I'm sure its even harder on RCT3. Anyways keep up the great work, the park definately has a nice disney touch to it. -Justin "who wants to get back into playing RCT!" -
Favorite SFKK Coaster
Mr. Volcano replied to paramountguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I liked the shuttle loop even though it wasn't one of the better ones I rode. Thunder Run would probably be runner up but I know one thing for sure is that T2 is on the last page of the list! -Justin -
Hey I know this is a lame question but on your "Buy 2 get 1 Free" Sale, does that mean if I buy all 8 that I get two free? Just wondering if it was only used once or if it would appealed if you did it more than once like that Oh yeah, one more question, who's crack is this suppose to be is that Robb's or Gregg's? --> -Justin

Hey Guys, I finally got time to view around the forums again! (for once!) Anyways, saw this topic and thought I'd post. I would love to meet up with everyone thats going on these meets around the forums if I can get time... it will probably be undecided on which parks I will get to go to though depending on how my schedule works out. -Justin (I'll probably have to find out last minute and maybe can still get to at least one place, if thats okay) but I would love to hang out!

Ah! How could I forget about Goliath? Looks simply amazing, great B&M hyper with nice use of terrain, out of the park and back into the park elements, over paths and roads, and other rides, an incredible layout and great looking ride -Justin -

Has anyone mentioned Expediton Everest at AK? -Justin "I hope im not the ONLY one pysched about this!" -
Anyone care if Mr. Volcano makes a guest apperance? I actually dont know if I'll be able to go, I'm heading towards Ohio in October 14th-17th, and will be at CP and PKI's "crappy" halloween events, and asked for the time off from work... Maybe I can manage to slip this one off too, who knows -Justin
