  1. Happy Birthday Wildcatjoe!! -Justin "sings happy birthday"
  2. I'm gonna say computer case, it has a power button on the front -Justin
  3. This one time I saw a flamingo attacking a Rabbit. oh yeah sometimes my friend will say "chya" and I always bug her and go "chya chya chya! CHARMIN!!!" and yes those bears are really disturbing especially when he sits down from whiping and is like "ahh!" Okay enough of that crap, im watching baby's day out.. woohoo. -Justin "is that baby going to fall?"
  4. Wow, this looks absolutely amazing, I have to get ther eand ride this now! Amazing looking... nuff said... -Justin "who hasn't seen ANY part of the ride's layout until now"
  5. It says it all in the name Sexy ol' Volcano.... Credit to Joel Rogers @ Coastergallery.com -Justin[/img]
  6. I would have posted this earlier but AOL was giving me problems (ugh, they're so retarted). But now at least I know what carl looks like This picture was saved in paint so it reduced some of the quality but you understand who I am overall... dont let it scare ya too bad -Justin Mr. V's "not so bright" idea!
  7. Wow thats a funny song, I was thinking about making a random video about Dr. Pepper cans and using that song! Im guessing "Deep South" trip is down here? I always wondered since I dont have your DVD yet what you were going to use for the HHN video -Justin "I am a superstar and I dont--care--who--you--are!"
  8. Gregg, This is a wonderful recreation of California's Screamin! I haven't not yet rode this coaster, but I pretty much know the layout from various POVs and photos, and you got that part very right, the layout was perfect. I liked the LIM lifthill and the block segments seemed right, the only thing I would work on is the launch at the begening, you have it launch and stop, and with the new update you can pause the ride on a block for as long as you want Other than that the track is very nice, there was a few little bumps but they weren't anything major at all, you gave the track a complete feel to the accuracy. -Justin "who cant wait to ride California's Screamin' this year!"
  9. Robb do you have RCT1 and RCT2? If so how advanced are you in those games and how much knowledge of the game do you have... I think the good reviews are from people who have seemed to play RCT1 and 2 on and off and didn't really get much into it, and when it came out it gave them something new to play around with from getting bored of the old ones... but on the other hand I think the people that profession the 1st and 2nd game gave bad reviews because alot of the freedoms have been taken away on the 3rd game. The thing is parkmaking is alot different, the game offers alot of options but you cant build parks the same as you use to (which in some ways is bad because if you were use to 1 and 2 the quality of park-making has decreased giving lower ratings from people who liked to play these games). The scenarios on the 3rd game start of semi-easy, but it takes some practicing before you mess around with this stuff, the game offered more in a "video game" type RCT this time. For instance... you have to beat scenarios to unlock various new coaster designs, rides, and etc... The other thing is the land tool, its alot different. If you were so easily addicted to knowing how to build landscapes on the old one, the 3rd game will come to a challenge because there is WAY more options than the old ones, and you have to really know how to use it, and it takes alot of practice. Another thing is peeps, they act alot differently in the 1st and 2nd games, and you have to know how to treat the peeps to a park that they would most likely want (food they want, rides they want, etc... etc..) the choices all come by what you have to offer them, like the food and drinks stand, you can choose how much ice to put in the drinks, lemons, sugar, and on the food you choose the amount of ketchup, sauce, and all that good stuff. It just seemed to be alot less "free" to me than the first and 2nd games, but I like the originality of bringing back beating scenarios to unlock new stuff, its kindof a challenge. But if you want my opinion this is why im sticking to RCT2.... 1). The graphics weren't as good as I hoped they were to be, allitle bit rough but they were 'ok' It seems like they were so eager to make the game 3D they didn't really concentrate on the stuff that NEEDED to be concentrated on. 2). The rides function VERY fast, I dont know why. It seems like when you test a flat ride out that it spins incredibly fast and just goes crazy. 3). The park-making seemed alot more difficult to me, I didn't like how you couldn't place fences on the sides of paths or coasters, but you could put them THROUGH coaster tracks and have trains go THROUGH the wall/fence? WTF? It had alot of up-points that I liked about the game though.... 1). I really liked the coaster-cam, I liked riding my flat rides and getting a people-perspective of the park and stuff, although your coasters are still designed like the first ones (rough) it was still neat. 2). I loved being able to rotate freely in any direction around the park and view it any way I want, taking screenshots and stuff was unique because you could always show different angles. 3). Firework mix - This thing is the BEST!!! I had alot of fun making my own firework shows and playing around with so many different things, it seemed like it had alot of options and different styles. 4). I really do think the game had alot of awesome new features and had alot to choose from, this was a good thing in some ways, and especially in the coaster editor it allowed you to build any tracked ride you want. ]So theres my review... allitle long, but you get the message -Justin
  10. Wow that Disk'o' looks like the only thing I would ever buy the expansion pack for (although ill probably end up getting it) I have RCT3, but its not installed, got it for my birthday played it a few times and figured Id stick to RCT2... Overall I like the freedom we have in RCT2 with custom rides, custom paths, objects, path add ons, etc.. etc.. and the park-making is just found easier to me, while 3 seemed to get allitle more complicated and weird. (Does anyone notice you cant build fences on the side of paths or rides but you can put them directly through the track?)... Anyways, this topic isn't about RCT3 and if we like it or not, its about the expansion pack. Thanks for the pics Robb, I hadn't seen those yet, they definately look like they've got allitle more creative with things, I'm sure everyone will really like the freedom of making their own water slides instead of hacking the old dinghy (SP?) slides! -Justin "Waterpark making is Awesome, but I'll stick to RCT2!"
  11. Those of you who are familiar with custom objects on RCT2 know that I have made a few of my own and have became infamous for some of my rare but "decent" objects. Well I did allitle experimenting with some architectural objects and worked hard on these simple, but useful objects. I found them useful in a few of my parks to use in building, dont know if anyone will like them or not but I thought I would share them with everyone. Robb I apolojize if the size is too big or IMG size, if it is just correct me and Ill try posting another one, Im not use to this uploading stuff yet. (Also if you dont mind can I link this page to other sites so that people can see my new objects? Just thought I would ask before doing so, I dont have anywhere else to post the download yet) -Justin Block Set.zip And the Download...
  12. ohh Go Us Elissa!! Kumba was my first big one too, yay. Haha.. Poor old Kumba, it really is starting to show its age now.. not that im calling anyone old or anything  -Justin
  13. Ah... good ol' Quaker. What would we (or TPR) do without him Ive hung out with ya a good 3 or 4times now haha jp... Anyways, get togethers from a site are ALWAYS fun, having a large group of people means more randomness for everyone, and more fun! -Justin "who loves hanging out with a group of awesome people!"
  14. Wild Adventures is a perfect park do in a half of day IMO. Ive been to the park twice and I've taken the same route you have (Wild Adventures and then to SFoG) and its a perfect setup, however remember that it is a 4hour drive, so if your going to do the park I would suggest doing Wild Adventures half a day then allow yourself 4hours to drive to Atlanta and settle in. (Please make sure you stay at an exit far enough way where its not too close to the park, the exit closest to the park is usually where we stay but is VERY ghetto and scary!!!) Wild Adventure can be a pretty easy fortune cookie to crack open if you do it right, Ive been there twice (one trip on an almost full day and a half a day the next day at the park, and finished more than enough). The park is kindof a dificult layout and paths are assorted everywhere, but you can finish the rides in no time, especially the ones you want. They have tons of Flat rides and the Coasters there are pretty nice, however the Zoo's and Animal Walkthroughs are pretty nice too, you can finish them up quick unless your planning on seeing the animal shows and stuff. I hope your trip turns out great! As I am also planning this exact trip over Spring Break weekend, have a good time! -Justin
  15. The Fish-eye lens makes the view look disorted and stretched out, the kind you see with the video footage stretched on the left and right side kindof makes it look blurry and wide in the middle, I dont even know what these lens are for but you wont see me ever using one... The Wide Angle lens decreases magnification in your camera and gives your camera the ability to see more in a picture, kindof works like a magnifying glass that stretches out the picture. It works like a charm in footage because it reduces shaking and bouncing and makes the picture look more clear. Robb, I've also noticed this. Sometimes Smaller cameras that seem more light are harder to grasp onto especially on inversions when it throws you around (The tall cameras are exactly the same too, the grip is horrible on them!) When you said you were a bit dissapointed with the footage you shot with your "newer lighter camera" was that the one you showed me on the last trip? Or the one that is like mine (the sony DCR-TRV22) I cant remember which one you got first. -Justin
  16. One of them sure doesn't happen to be Cypress Gardens Im not even sure if we were there for 2hours! -Justin "who can spend 12MINUTES at Cypress"
  17. Winter Haven Fl, -- I guess Cypress Gardens, its only 6miles from my house. But I'm also sandwhiched between... WDW Parks: 45minutes Universal Resort: 1hour Sea World Orlando: 1hour Busch Gardens Tampa: 45-1hr depending on traffic Wild Adventures: 4hours Six Flags over Georgia: 8hours -Justin
  18. Shaun of the Dead looked so funny, I wanted to see it but never got a chance too, maybe when it comes out on DVD (if its not already out I'll get it) Id like to see SAW, has anyone seen it? I'm thinking about buying it as a DVD to my collection (I'm a DVD collector, woohoo http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=mr.+volcano) and have heard both good and bad ratings for it... Tonight im off to see a movie with the family, we haven't decided yet but we're going between "Are we there yet?, Wedding Date, or Meet the Fockers"... I hope none of them suck too bad. -Justin
  19. Id have to say that I thought Hurler at Carowinds was pretty bad (coming down the drop off of that wheel seat just slammed your back right into the train it hurt SO bad) or Cheetah, that was running pretty horrible on both visits I had been there just felt like it was falling apart all the way through... But I'd say the coaster that tops it off the most is Raging Wolf Bobs.... http://rcdb.com/ig235.htm?picture=3 -Justin "who's brains are rattled loose from that piece of crap!"
  20. Yeah thats definately NOT fun... being stuck on a midcourse or breaks on a coaster and just sitting there is one thing, but laying on your stomach is another. I remember when we went to SFoG in 2002 of Fall to do the Superman Shooting for a TV commercial, they had is in lockdown mode for quite some time, sometimes very inconvenient and uncomfortable, locking our restraints in the station for 40minutes, laying us in the breaks on and off, and even riding the coaster too many times was enough to make your chins sore from laying on the "leg rests" ouch... As far as feeling like a guinea pig, I was one of the lucky first people to ever ride the front of Swamp Thing at Cypress Gardens, we went there to wait to get the credit and the guy says "hey if your willing to ride come on up, we're going to send the trains on through with people in it to see how it runs!" Heh... lucky us... -Justin "I will never be the first to test a Vekoma again!!"
  21. Sheikra here, I think it looks like the most "interesting" ride being built so far... but as far as I can say B&M changing the designs of their rides, I am definately looking forward to Hydra whenever I can get over there and ride it. (The ride theme, layout, and setup looks plain awesome to me!) -Justin
  22. Looks neat, it does a good job of reminding me of the Adventuredome and I like the Canyon Blaster and Miner Mike.. Looks like you have Time Twisters though so I wont be able to d/l it -Justin "who has wacky worlds and time twisters but doesn't like them installed since my objdata base is overflowed already!"
  23. Shirt: a ghetto shirt from Beall's outlet that has "U.S.A. 2002" on it Shorts: Old Navy Cargo Shorts Shoes: I have shoes by my dresser Socks: I'm not wearing any socks. Underwear: Some ghetto plaid Joe Boxer, boxers? -Justin "I have a blue rubberband around my arm if that counts"
  24. Thanks for the pics Robb! I can see they've already done a few touch-ups to the Flyers before starting work, like the structure which has been painted from blue to white, they've done a nice job of putting this up it will be interesting to see how it turns out. I think it will also be interesting to see the theme of the ride and how this thing runs, how they operate it if they work it like Kings Island did (I wasn't one of the few who got upset when they took it out, but I do find most flyers fun). Well, however this goes you and I both know well that this will turn out better than Cypress Garden's "geometry project" -Justin
  25. No problems here either... I remember CG, that was an interesting trip considering we only got about 1hour of fun... I remember when we rode Hurricane we went right to the back and you went right to the front and rode with a 3yr old in order to do a POV haha. Good times... Great photo update BTW, I never thought about looking at our drop tower in THAT way! haha. -Justin "The ride signs are improved now and the power lines are removed!"
