  1. Summer, 1995 Hey everybody. It was a humid, hot, rainy day yesterday... but I decided to head out to Indiana Adventures anyway! I had the whole day to spend, and then I had to be off to the Indianapolis Airport by 10:00. Like I said before, the weather was pretty miserable, but there were still quite a few guests in the park. Ride lines still pretty short. I haven't really shown you the inside of Little Tyke's Timber Town yet, so I'll cover that a little bit in this update. Here are some pics... Shot0100.bmp One last picture that I took from the plane. The park really is beautiful at night... Shot0099.bmp I can't believe anyone ever rides Crash Canyon; its almost impossible to find! Shot0098.bmp The line for Memory Lane was pretty much nonexistent all day long... Shot0097.bmp The Sweet Shoppe looked really cool today, with the rain pouring down on the roof. Shot0095.bmp Onboard Little Logger, the small Tivoli coaster. LL is placed over a lake with a large fountain in the center. It really adds to the ride! Shot0094.bmp First I headed into LTTT. I love the entrance... Shot0093.bmp Well here I am, back at IA. Isn't the sky beautiful...?
  2. Wow, this is truly AMAZING! The train station is so detailed... and I LOVE it! (And I'd still like to know where you got the huge glass roofs...) Link please?
  3. I also need a link to some nice, white picket fences. Any help???
  4. I re-built the second half of the coaster, and I re-posted the download, so check it out! (AND LEAVE COMMENTS!!!)
  5. Wow, some of the transitions weren't great, but that was REALLY fun! I rode it 3 times!
  6. Wow, good luck! lol Oh, and the RCDB link leads to the Dolphin Coaster, not Thunder Dolphin...
  7. I know this is off topic, but how do you write words under your pictures without the caption bar?
  8. Looks great! How do you place your buildings and fences right next to the paths?
  9. The entrance still looks amazing, and the train station looks good too. Where did you get the glass?
  10. Beech Bend used to be, but it is definitely moving forward. With the addition of Kentucky Rumbler and the water park, you can tell that the park is becoming more than just a permanent fair.
  11. Okay, my coaster is completed! When is everybody posting their downloads? Stasiphobia-080221225941000.bmp and the coaster! The logo...
  12. Where do I get the really small billboards?
  13. !GRAND OPENING! Park Admission Adults- $15.00 Children- $10.00 Seniors- $12.00 3 years and under- FREE Hours of Operation Monday-Thursday: 10am-9pm Friday-Saturday: 10am-11pm Sunday: 1pm-10pm Wow, I just got back from the grand opening of Indiana Adventures. I had a great time! The park was packed, but the lines for rides weren't TOO long... I got there about 30 minutes before the park opened, and at least 500 people were waiting to get in along with me! There are two entrances, and one exit, but it still took quite a while to get in. Once inside, I picked up a park map, and headed to the left side of the park. First up was Black Widow. Now, I don't think I've told you this, but during testing something wrong was discovered with the back car of the train, so it was removed. So the train now has 6 cars, instead of 7. But it didn't seem to affect the capacity much... I got on the first train, and the operator even let me take my camera on! Black Widow was really smooth, and going past all of the scenery was great, too! I skipped the Pizza Hut and went on to ride everything else in the area. Memory Lane is definitely the best antique car ride that I have ever been on. It was pretty popular... On the way to the other side of the park, I hopped on River Wheel to take some pictures. River Wheel was the most popular attraction in the park, but that's probably because it is impossible to miss. I had heard that Cliff Diver had been down all day, but to my surprise, it opened back up as soon as I entered the line! CD is my favorite ride in the park! I didn't have too much extra time, so I didn't go into Little Tyke's Timber Town, but it sure seemed to be packed! Indiana Adventures has pushed the family aspect of there park very far. A LTTT ad was on the cover of almost every parenting magazine I've seen in the last couple of weeks. On my way back to Hideout, I noticed that the park has added a new bathroom. This was definitely needed. I went into the Hideout building, and got on the ride, but the operators here wouldn't let me take pictures on the ride. Hideout may need some work, because the boomerang is kind of rough, but I have no doubt that the park will fix that. On my way out, I took a shot from the exit ramp. The path is designed to go over the track, and there is a small window so that guests can watch the train zoom by underneath them. Very cool. After Hideout, I quickly walked back to Cliff Diver for one last ride. I had a plane to catch at 8:30, so I didn't have time for anything else. But it had been a great day, and I sure hope some of you got to get out and enjoy it as much as I did! Until next time... Shot0092.bmp An overview of Indiana Adventures on opening day! See you this summer! Shot0086.bmp My last ride of the day, Cliff Diver, against a beautiful sunset... Shot0088.bmp The awesome view of Hideout from its exit path! Shot0087.bmp The new bathroom by Hideout. Shot0090.bmp The other side of the park from the River Wheel! It rained periodically during the day, but that didn't stop people from piling into the park... Shot0089.bmp Little Tyke's Timber Town from the River Wheel. Shot0085.bmp The park enclosed the loading area for Memory Lane, a great antique car ride! Shot0091.bmp Going down the first drop on Black Widow! Shot0084.bmp The line to get in was already half an hour long when I got there!
  14. Wow, those supports are amazing...
  15. Looks great! Where's you get the really small billboards/signs?
  16. Both of those were really good! Dr. Gumbo, your first coaster is probably better than EVERY coaster I've created in NL!
  17. ^If that's true, then this is GREAT news! I hope in addition to the MHF refurbishment, the Twins get some work too. They could be great again...
  18. I would also like to know Six Flags' plan for smaller parks such as SFKK and SFA. Does the removal of S:TOP and its replacement have anything to do with SFKK's shortened season? (Park not opening until after Spring Break this year... )
  19. ^Looks great! Why do stand-ups always look so cool...?
  20. Now, many of us here post our first "rideable" coaster, but have we really seen your VERY first coaster? This is the creation that first popped into your mind when you bought the game, and so you built it without any experience. Post that coaster here, along with a screenshot. Here is my first coaster, Raging Rebel! Raging Rebel-080220183252001.bmp The first drop! Very realistic Raging Rebel-080220183117000.bmp Overview of the death machine... Raging Rebel.nltrack
  21. Okay, I just got into a new relationship last Friday. I like her a whole lot, and she feels the same way about me. But, she hates coasters. They scare the crap out of her. I guess we'll be spending most of our time at Splashin' Safari this year...
  22. If you use the terraformer AFTER you place custom supports, will it mess them up?
  23. It was just a fun little project I thought I'd share with you all... And yes, it IS a death machine! lol
