Ride Attendant Foul-Ups
GriffyTiffy replied to UnderCoverDrummer1's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
One of the ride ops on a "Ring of Fire" ride at my local fair was checking the cage locks while the ride was moving (not at full speed, but still quite fast). At the same fair, this year, all the operators (well, at least 2) on the Fun Slide were high.... never thought that was safe. -
The "GP" of Theme Parks Facebook Thread!

She is just a fantastic person. -
I couldn't agree more. It's just one of those rides at Great America that I don't mind skipping. Once you've ridden it, you've ridden it. Not much else it does and it just feels very "meh" after you've ridden it X amount of times. Although I have to say, when I do ride it, I go for the back rather than the front, just for the airtime on the first hill. I actually disagree as far as "meh" goes. While, yes, it is no where near a top 10 coaster, or a force machine, it's just so dang fun. It's one of those coasters that you just can't help smiling and laughing the entire way through. No bumps, shaking, just a good smooth ride. I love it

Just booked our flights.. you BETTER be right! @Steve...best comment ever. I cannot guarantee the realness of said dinosaurs.... you could check out the freaky giant bugs CP has if you want some weird nature and the dinosaurs are just scams. -

I'm pretty sure they are announcing it early because the CP one will have REAL LIVE dinosaurs! -
Favourite small park

The former Kiddieland in Melrose Park has a soft spot in my heart. Very nice collection and thrilling rides, and a fun log flume! Glad Little Dipper is at SFGAm now. -

Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread
GriffyTiffy replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
While it doesn't look like "B&M I305", it still looks incredible to me. At least Wonderland is getting a new ride, let alone A B&M GIGA! Better than no rides at all, like Michigan's Adventure. Can't wait to try it sometime! Griffin -

I'm VERY impressed by that photo! Can't wait til tomorrow morning! -
Bahhhh I had so much fun today Jo! Thanks for going! Eagle backwards today was amazing. The airtime in the rear of the train (what would be the front row if it was facing forward) is unbelievable while backwards. I also picked up a $13 Iron Wolf blueprint. All IW merchandise is half off, so stock up everyone!

Glad I got to see them before they were removed! Wildebeest was awesome, but this one with the backwards/possible spinning could be better! Hopefully I can go back to the park to check it out! -
