  1. ^ Once again, LMAO! (Deja vu.....)
  2. I like number 4, not sure why, I just do! ^^ Good luck with the move Derek. Louise "who HATED moving" R.
  3. We had the same fog over here around that time, it was pretty creepy. DLP is pretty all year round but it looks even more so with the Christmas decorations up. Might be going back in February. Nice photos.
  4. It's near impossible to pick one "best" Disney park, it all depends on what sort of stuff you like. If your sisters are really young, I'd avoid MGM, simply because there's less for them to enjoy there. With my family, EPCOT was really the only park that pleased everybody, as there are a couple of "thrill" type rides, although no coasters, some educational science type stuff, great food and scenery, etc etc... But that's just my family. If you're looking for the classic Disney magic, I'd go with the Magic Kingdom, it kinda exemplifies all that is Disney. But it really does depend on what you and your family are looking for.
  5. Ignoring the fact that Gulliver's is slightly closer, Alton Towers would be my home park, and I'd vote for Nemesis as my favourite coaster at the park. I'll vote for Ripsaw as best flat ride.
  6. Yes! Were Nirvana over-rated?
  7. I hate feeling sick and being bored because I've been trapped in my room all day, I hate how much coursework I have to do tomorrow, and I hate how hard it is to find a job this close to Christmas. If I end up working for my dad I may as well start my very own rant thread as I will be ranting A LOT.
  8. ^^^ Don't forget 64 hemidemisemiquavers are in 32 demiquavers.....
  9. ^ If you like that kinda thing, give Bob Rivers' Twisted Christmas CD a try. "The restroom door said gentlemen...."
  10. I don't like Christmas because frankly, i've never had a reason to. But Christmas music is all about snow and presents and family and that kinda stuff, and I suppose in my head that's what I think Christmas SHOULD be like, and so I like to listen to the music cos it makes me think those kind of thoughts. Escapism I suppose is the word! I only like certain Christmas songs though, the ones my local mall in Florida used to play were a nightmare! Ever hear the Smurfs sing carols?!?!
  11. ^ BA's First Class on long-haul is amazing. I have a friend who works for BA and he managed to get me upgraded a couple of times.... Wow. Premium Economy with Virgin is pretty damn good, but I've never flown in their Upper Class section, no way I could afford that. Was trying to save up some Tribe points to figure out a way of doing it but it's not gonna happen now. Oh well, back to my Lotto hopes!
  12. It's A Wonderful Life (classic) Love Actually (you either love or hate it, I love it) Scrooged (LOVE LOVE LOVE Bill Murray) Home Alone (the original, or MAYBE the 2nd one, NOT the other crappy sequels) Miracle on 34th Street (makes me cry buckets) I absolutely despise Christmas, but I love Christmas music and movies. I guess it's because Christmas in the films is so idealised, if it was like that in reality I'd probably love it!
  13. I used to do six to eight long haul flights a year with Virgin Atlantic and they really were much better than the other airlines I've used (Delta, BA, etc). I'm not overly keen on flying but the staff and amenities were always pretty good and made it much easier for me. Shame I can't use my employee discount for you guys for the June trip.
  14. Your hand got you sick? LMFAO!!
  15. ^ What is the legal drinking age in New Zealand?! Am I the only one who wouldn't just pick up a bottle on the street and drink it?! :? Maybe I'm just weird.
  16. "Hopin' " for what?! Someone better?!
  17. ^ Umm, actually I wouldn't say they dissed Disneyland at all here... Sure, Robb stated his opinion that Space Mountain was "updated" rather than "new", and he prefers the WDW ToT, but that's hardly the harshest review in history. From what I can tell they seemed to really enjoy their day.
  18. Great pics as always. I had this weird feeling that there was something missing from the update though... Until I reached the last page, and realised that I'm just not used to going through three whole pages of photos without seeing countless pictures of Robb doing something insane. But then there he was in a net full of fish and wearing Elton's specs. Normality returns. The pic of the "people-eaters".... Did anybody else notice the lady was wearing Disney bride ears? Did she get married, or did she eat some poor happy couple? Wow, i've been coming here too long if I'm starting to encourage the fat jokes... :?
  19. ^ Y'know, the second I saw that you were the last post in this thread, I KNEW you would be commenting on Mike's new 'do.
  20. Phew, I'm quite relieved, thought I was gonna get lynched for suggesting that. It's not that I'm mean or anything, but I tend to glance at the birthdays on the calendar at the top, and if it's anyone I speak to much I tend to PM them saying happy birthday in case they don't read the birthday sticky so... To me personally, it's pointless. As someone above said, a lot of the time I don't even recognise many of the screen names as not every member posts. Maybe you should start another poll for this one Robb.
  21. How in the name of God did the dog get on the roof? :? And more importantly, was the dog ok?!
  22. ^^ The way it is now is much better Robb. Although I would get rid of the birthday thread. Maybe it's my miserable Britishness but seeing as the same people say happy birthday to each and every birthday boy/girl each day, it seems fairly pointless to me. Maybe it's just because I fear getting old and despise my birthdays.
  23. Ok, in that case, I say leave them as they are. As WV said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Perhaps you could reduce the number a wee bit though. Whatever's easiest for you guys I guess, it's you that has to keep on top of the boards, not us.
  24. Do you mean, all the stickies apart from the ones you mentioned earlier that you'd rather leave: rant, picture of me, etc? I think a game forum would be a good idea seeing as they've been popping up all over the place lately, and hey, if no one goes there at all, delete them! See if anyone's paying attention!
  25. Knee sliced open by ride op?? Was this in one of those ghetto parks?!
