Don't worry about it, I only got a personalised message because I send a free copy of each BritChick BassPlaying DVD over to Robb whenever I make one.

You shoulda tried being in the chat room at the busiest time last night Robb, Julie and I were getting really annoyed that every person who came in was like "I just popped in to ask if anyone else is having problems with images".... By this time the Sticky explaining had been there for, ohh, about 5 hours?!?! Why the hell am I not capable of having an evening in? Like, ever? I mean, I am, I can say I'm staying in, and be perfectly happy to curl up on my bed and watch a movie, but as soon as my mobile rings with someone asking me to go out, I can't refuse, so I end up getting changed, doing hair & make-up, and paying for a damn taxi to go and join my friends. It's now almost 9.30pm, my phone just went off, my friend Dave asking where I was. I said I wasn't going out but I guarantee in about fifteen minutes I'll get itchy feet and end up going.

Thank you Kenny & Mike! It's hilarious, I laughed as soon as I saw it, and mum was just stood there looking at me like "well....????" so I TRIED to explain it, but I think the way I told it kinda made it sound like I was making it up. "Who are these people and why do they think you make.... THOSE kind of movies?" I think possibly I convinced her in the end. Hope so anyway! The last thing I need is for her to find out about my second career, she'd raise the rent! And Teddy, believe it or not, I'm not actually all that big a fan of Ab Fab. I like it but don't love it. If that makes you more of a British woman than I am.... Well then congratulations, I hope you enjoy your poor dental hygiene and impassionate sex.

Thought this was pretty funny and figured I should share, especially with so many Family Guy fans here who might appreciate it. Okay, so I finally got around to ordering a TPR DVD, and this morning, when the mail arrived, mum shouts to me that there's a package from the US for me. (FYI Robb, I forgot to photograph it, but thanks for the Christmas ornament, it's a little late though.... Stupid postal service!! ) Anyway, I go into the kitchen and.... Thanks Robb & Elissa! Both for the DVDs, and for convincing my mother (who also doesn't watch Family Guy) that I have a secret life as an adult movie star! I got a little note from Robb. I'm sure I WILL enjoy the "high-class porn" (and after I watch these I'll be buying some Family Guy DVDs so I understand these references!) This is pride of place in the collection, between Red Dwarf and Sex And The City. Robb, did I order two, or did you send me an extra by mistake?! I thought I'd only ordered Vol. 6. ...so I take the package, and notice it's from Robb & Elissa. THEN I realise why Mum's pulling a face. PORN STAR?!?! ...she's looking at me like this (I'm reconstructing the expression myself, seeing as I didn't have my camera on me at the time)...

As well as my main pressie, I got some cool little gifts from my mum, including these.... EDIT: Ok, WTF?! I very rarely post multiple pictures, I tried adding these in both combinations, I previewed each time, and both times they were in the right order, but when I click submit, they're not.... So whatever. They're warm, stripey, have individual, umm, sleeves(?!) for my toes, and have pussies on them! Best socks ever! And just in case you missed the foot-glove detail...

Wes, you have to try and find it, it sounds great! I despised Furbies, I was always convinced they were evil. Maybe I was right after all.... Louise "also scared of clowns, dolls, and puppets" Royle

Random PTR: Cedar Point Christmas Shindig
Louise replied to Scaparri's topic in Random, Random, Random
Great pictures Scotty. Nice to see your hair appears to be growing back. Not your hand on Tara's chest..... Yeah yeah, we believe you. Glad you had fun. -
^ Oooh, it was good. I LOVE David Tennant, I think he's fabulous. Christopher Eccleston was great too though.

^ There's a couple of big gaps there..... He said your "whole life", I think you owe us more information. "Dave Thomas: The Lost Years" Louise "my timeline would be heinously dull" Royle

Well, technically I guess I'm a great-aunt... at the age of 20... The girl who's had the baby is actually my ex's niece, and me and him were together so long that I consider her to be my niece too. However, because we're so close in age, we became friends and have stayed this way after myself and the bloke split up. So Isabel is kinda my niece, and is definitely my ex's great niece... A great-uncle at 24, not many people have that claim.
-
My friend Leigh Ann finally had the baby, only 13 days late! Baby Isabel was born this morning, weighing 7lb 5oz, and she and her mother are both fine. I'm an "auntie"!

Wow, how wasted were you? Not TOO wasted, but thanks for the compliment. Read a few posts back: I was just starting to get tipsy when I left. For some reason, drinking at Christmas leads to me ranting about all things festive, so I decided to leave the party rather than pissing everybody off.
-
^^^ Wow Derek, you trying to make some ridiculous height requirement or something?! If so I recommend buying platform shoes, it's much easier than growing your hair. (Can't believe I'm taking the piss out of somebody after posting a picture of myself drunk and wearing antlers. Maybe I should shut up now. ) And Mike, any more PMs like that will get posted on the public board.....

^ I told ya! Ok, just to prove that I am capable of coming CLOSE to smiling, here's another, although I'm STILL not being normal! After seeing this do you understand the reason why I pull goofy faces all the time?!?!
-
Just got home from a big Christmas Eve party, I left early because I was starting to get a little inebriated and just a little irritated with all the festive happiness. It's been Christmas for two long hours here, only 22 more to go.... (Yes I'm a Scrooge.) Regardless, hope you all have a great Christmas. -Lou-dolph Just missing the red nose...

What parks do you plan to visit in 2006?
Louise replied to coasterguy618's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Definites (TPR Trip): Chessington, Oakwood, Drayton Manor, Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool South Pier, Southport, Gullivers Warrington, Camelot, Lightwater Valley, Flamingoland, Fantasy Island, Bottons Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, Joyland, Thorpe Park, Liseberg, Tusenfryd, and probably Legoland Windsor. Looks like I might be hitting Disneyland Paris (both parks) with my friends in March/April, if not then I'll definitely be going in November, haven't been over since 2003. If I make that, I'll be trying to hit Parc Asterix too. If I end up in decent employment after Christmas, I may hit a few more parks in Europe either after the TPR trip or after I hit Paris, tentatively hoping to head into Spain or Germany, but this is majorly dependent on where I end up working. Then, starting July, I'm hoping for a work placement in the States, which will most likely be in Philly, Boston, D.C., or somewhere in Florida or California, they're the most common areas for the placements anyway. I'll be in the placement for around 8 weeks, with free weekends, and then I'll be staying over there and travelling for around four weeks, so should be able to squeeze some more parks in. A lot of this is "if"s and "but"s though, which I hate, I like to make very definite plans. -
I'll be at a big arse party in my local pub. A friend of mine DJs, the landlady does a great buffet, and I'll be surrounded by pretty much everyone in the world I care about and copious amounts of alcohol and cigarettes. Heaven. I took loads of great pictures last New Year's Eve and I finally got a digital camera over the summer so there'll be even more this year! Last year was the first year I've ever really enjoyed NYE, something always seems to go wrong, hopefully this year will go to plan and be great.

Well that's nice. :? I did ALL of my Christmas shopping in less than 90 minutes this morning. Up until then, I hadn't bought a single card.... Once again I was the queen of procrastination, although at least I didn't leave it all until Christmas Eve, i won't make that mistake again. I must've spent around £300 - not as many people to buy for this year thank god. I think the absolute last thing I bought was a big box of Maltesers to top up my dad's gift, and they cost me £3-99.

^ Uncle Wes cracks me up. The penguin eating b*stard.

^ I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. I haven't bought a single card.... Stupid holidays.

Baby Penguin Stolen From Zoo in England!
Louise replied to SharkTums's topic in Random, Random, Random
Ok, natural blonde (ahem) that I am, I was thinking he was taken during the day, having read the paper tonight I now know that he was taken during the night (which makes more sense, I was wondering how someone had managed to nab him and not be noticed by other guests), but now this begs the question, shouldn't zoo security be better than this? If someone can get in during the night and steal a baby penguin (and I'm pretty sure the other penguins would've made some kinda noise, right?), what's to stop some drunk teenager from getting in at 3am, being mauled by a lion, and suing the ass off the zoo? :? According to the media, they think the penguin pilferer may have chosen to steal the little guy after seeing that March Of The Penguins movie, apparently "penguin-watching holidays" have had something like a 600% increase in interest since the movie was released. Yeah ok, see something in a movie and instantly go and steal one with no disregard for the creature's safety or wellbeing. Never mind the penguin being a jackass, the person who took it certainly is. -

I'm on it Elissa, maybe I could make a photo TR of the search.... Seriously though, people are soooo stupid, how the hell did whoever took him think they would be able to handraise him? I really hope he turns up ok. How the hell did somebody manage to snatch him anyway? I'm not a big zoo fanatic but I thought most of them pretty much kept you well out reach of the animals? I know at Chester there's no way you could reach the penguins by hand, and I think if you had some kind of grabbing thingy you might get noticed.... :? -
Theme Park Review Announces Our 2006 UK Trip!
Louise replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Sorry, no, I wasn't agreeing with the jabs at you, "well said" really didn't cover my agreements very well. :? I just meant I understand Derek's point about having to wait around for 50 different people who all want to eat at different times and places, stop for photos at different points, etc etc. There's nothing worse than having to adapt your entire day to fit other people's, you need to find a compromise. I probably will join in with the Jeff bashing, but I'll at least meet you first, don't worry. We'll have to stop off at my house on the way to Alton, I'll cook you a meal and you can RETRACT THAT BLOODY STATEMENT.
