Pfft, no snow in Manchester damn it!

No (yet) Should I do the thing I've been thinking about doing even though I know it's a bad idea?

I was supposed to get a flu shot and a meningitis shot a while back but my GP told me not to because I had glandular fever at the time and shouldn't subject my body to whatever it is that's in the shots. Sod's law say I'm now gonna spend half of this winter in bed sick the same way I spent most of the spring.

:shock::shock::shock: There are certain colognes that I absolutely LOVE, although I haven't yet resorted to following them around. Davidoff Cool Waters and Paul Smith London being two of them. And I have nothing to confess today. Nothing for a public board anyway.

^ Oops! I'm tired, guess my sense of humour chip isn't functioning too well. I've got some pictures somewhere of the view from my bedroom in the snow... I look out over a golf course which I mostly hate (stupid golfers making noise and messing up the scenery) but when it snows it's stunning. I'm hoping for a white Christmas this year!! Looks like you guys had a chilled out day! Glad to see I'm not the only person who'll stay in bed until 2.30pm given half a chance!! Maybe it was just hard to tell from the photograph but it almost looks like your meal was a UK sized portion... I always struggled in Florida because every restaurant we went to gave me a plate three times the size what I would have in England...!

^ Meh, not to me. Guess the grass is always greener huh? I'm a fan of the extremes we get over here: I love it when we have a heatwave (never liked Florida heatwaves though, that's TOO hot, but UK heatwave is about right) and I love the snow. Anything in between just irritates me!

I'm guessing from your AIM name that your middle name might be Meridith? I actually know an Elissa Meredith, Meredith being her last name. Spelt slightly differently, but still an interesting coincidence seeing as neither name is what i would call common.

"Live and let live" seems to be the general motto around these boards, everybody accepts everybody else for who they are. And quite right too. Nobody in this thread has intended to cause any offense or controversy, so why not just let this go back to being a poll thread where people list their sexuality. Amazed this has reached 30 pages with no problems. So rare. Gotta love this place.

^ Yeah, I have a ridiculous number of posts for the last couple of months... Combine being out of work with a week of being ill, with the fact that I've only slept two or three hours a night these last few months, and you get a LOT more time online than I'd usually have. ^ I thought the same thing about the UK. There are X amount of members listed under "UK" and then another amount next to "England", so for the people like myself that listed a city and then England, are we counted? And then you've got people such as Chrissie who are in Scotland, which may or may not be counted in the member list for UK... :?

The only thing I have to say is that this thread has the best title ever!

When I started this thread way back when it was just out of curiosity because I'd started to realise how much PMing and AIMing went on between members... I didn't intend for it to become either a Lonely Hearts board or a place to ridicule coaster enthusiasts as worse than Trekkies. I wouldn't say we're trekkies without the costumes... Ok, well... Maybe. Yeah. :? I've seen at least four or five attractive coaster enthusiasts. That puts us above the trekkies by at least 50%.

A few people have mentioned The Office... I believe it was remade with US actors, are you guys referring to the British or American version? Sorry to go off-topic, just curious. Haven't seen your version but the British one makes me LMAO.
