I thought Halo shipped with the Xbox. Using that same logic, when you pay $20 for a movie, do you expect it to be 20 hours long? --Robb "Games are getting more and more expensive to make and in some cases, more expensive than movies." Alvey Halo DID ship with the Xbox, and I JUST bought a copy for $10, see waiting works, I waited 4 years and saved $40, or $10 a year And the "overheating" 360 are because of poor circulation, and its not as rampant as people seem to want to make it out to be, GOD FORBID there are defective units, geez the only NEW system I don't expect and problems from, is Nintendo's new machine, they just seem to actually build thier systems a bit better (that is not a commentary on whats INSIDE, just how well it is put together)

Don't forget, we got a $20 mail in rebate, so in 6 to 8 weeks I can say it cost me $130
-
If you can believe it, we went out, but not untill about noonish, but we got some cool stuff We started at Target, Got Call of Duty 2 for $37 for the regular Xbox, and a few DVD's, Harry Potter for $6, Robots for $8, and Family Guy, Stewie movie for $8, and some Barbie movie for Mickey We then went to Hastings, and found the DS Nintendogs Bundle, and promply picked that up for $150, with a $20 mail in rebate, I also picked up Halo 1, for myself, I never actually bought the game, just played it, and they had it used for $9 We then went to Sonic and then home, where I slept untill work time I want a DS more than EVER now, I think the whole family is getting DS's, well except the baby, he can have the GBA

Sorry stitch, but the country bears makes my soul hurt, its so bad, eh, but to each his own I guess anyway, I'm not a complicated man, and while the Xbox 360 is cool, I'm waiting I want thanks to Gamestop for the image

I would do the wise thing and LISTEN TO ROBB, he does have some knowledge in this department as for the PS3 being $800, no way, but Sony will have to take a significant loss on the hardware if they want to be competitive, I do believe it is wise not to put cutting edge dvd drives in a system that is designed for the mass market, that and thier custom "cell processor" will be expensive And sinse most of you seem to be exibiting long term memory loss, it WAS this way with the PS2, and will be with the PS3, it kinda the way it goes with new systems ALSO, Microsoft is CERTIANLY not the first company to have issues with thier systems, I do believe I went through 3 PS1's. so it can happen to anyone I WILL probably be getting a 360, but not till next year, after they drop the price when the PS3 comes out, and at that point they will have some used games to buy, say like, Call of Duty 2
-
just remeber sony's quote about ps3 pricing "the ps3 will be expensive"
-
yeah, I'm probably not getting a ps3, as my ps2 is VERY dusty right now, and we have 2 xbox's, so we WILL be getting a xbox 360, but not till next year, I'm sure the ps3 will have to come out at 399.99, and microsoft will more than likely drop the price a bit

Post any injuries that landed you in a hospital!
crispy replied to Dainty Aqua's topic in Random, Random, Random
Hmm, I fell on a ho once, didn't require stitches, just a bath anyway, the only BAD injury for me was when I was playing tag on a home made jungle gym, and the stair were 2x4's set at a 45 degree angle, well I was running up them, my leg slipped inbetween the slats, I fell sideways off the stair, with my leg caught at the knee no broken bones, but it still hurts sometimes -

-
I'm no doctor, but I did stay at a holiday in express last night
-
YES!< thats a GREAT sign, it means the cells are not dead and are getting blood, that means you will more than likely get to keep your nail
-
you may lose the nail; itself, but the nail bed (the soft part UNDER the nail), and the rest of it looks like it may be fine, hopefully

Photo TR: The Tasting of Soren's Favorite Beer
crispy replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Random, Random, Random
AWESOME pics, man that last one is GREAT I may have to give that one a try, if Soren and Wally both like it, MAN it has to be good -
HA!!! no gets my money just cause they are "related", I need some begging, and not normal "oh please", I need to see some true on thier knee's begging after the beg fest, I would probably quit my job, and plan to go on EVERY TPR trip from here on out, I'm sure Robb and Elissa would get tired of me as for owning a park, probably not, I would however help Cliff's move, and find a much better location, where they could expand, and i guess then become a partner, but I really don't want to "run" a theme park, to much work.
