Er, Duane's been working on that one for about two years or so. If you know the exact latitude and longitude for a park, send it to him, and he'll update the park. (He has lots of parks hooked up with google earth and MNS already, so check first!)

^Aha! Maybe that's why they aren't worried about repainting the ride from the wear associated with assembly. Although I would expect most Japanese amusement parks to powerwash the rides avery 6 months or so. (Nara dreamland would be the obvious exception.)

The area under and around Double loop was grass and trees. The whole area was plowed under for this construction. There are still trees on one side of the lot, and the ground surface is actually very similar to up on Mt. Fuji: Lots of reddish brown igneous rock. As the park still hasn't even announced the coaster yet, there's no conceptual artwork to make guesses about possible theming.

Does anybody have a picture of X's lift hill motor? I'd imagine that they would be mounted similiarly.
