What Was the Last Beer You Drank?
rollermonkey replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
I figure I'll post the (short) tale of my first, last and only beer attempt: 1993, San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium, Padres vs Royals, the beer: Budweiser. It was a 'corporate outing' with my first command in the Navy, the Padres lost, and the beer tasted like I imagine warm urine would taste. An all around cruddy experience. I haven't tried another beer since. (I've drunk a little hard liquor, though.) -
I'm the worst (sounding) of both worlds: I'm a crab (Cancer) and a Rat. (Chinese Zodiac)

I love that almost two years after RCT3 was released, people are still making parks in 1 & 2!

I was wondering, I rode a coaster back in 2001 in Italy that had three across seating. Is this a unique coaster in this regard, or is three across seating just really rare? What other coasters (if any) do you know of that have this seating arrangement. Here's one of my pictures of Mirage, I'm sorry the resolution is so bad, I was using an 8mm camera that had a really cheap digital camera built in. http://www.rcdb.com/ig1107.htm?picture=1 (It's actually only three rows, I'll have to point that out to Duane so he can fix that.)

^Because if done right, it'd cost upwards of 30 - 40 million dollars. -
1. Capitalization. 2. Punctuation. 3. Spelling. If you have ordered a game online, did you download it or is it being shipped to you? If you downloaded, the registration key should be in one of the e-mails sent to you. If a physical copy of the game is being sent, the registration key will be in the packaging.

Your theme is a forest? You can use pretty much any rides you want, but try to stay clear of the futuristic stuff. Color your rides to match the colors of the trees, and it should turn out pretty nice looking. I've done this in RCT1 and 2 and used a lot of wood coasters and more traditional flats. I have 3, but I really haven't spent anywhere as much time with it as I did with 1 and 2.

I love going to parks on Monday holidays! The Japanese are all at work, and I usually have the whole park to myself! I can often fit in three parks on a Monday!

Is anyone playing the Lost ARG?
rollermonkey replied to CreativeForce's topic in Random, Random, Random
I've heard quite a bit about this show. Since I live in Japan, I can't watch it. Is there a specific reason why it is so popular? It seems to have the same mystique that Twin Peaks had in the first season: A mystery and odd characters with intersting connections. -

From Merriam-Webster's Dictionary: Main Entry: 1mav·er·ick Pronunciation: 'mav-rik, 'ma-v&- Function: noun Etymology: Samuel A. Maverick died 1870 American pioneer who did not brand his calves 1 : an unbranded range animal; especially : a motherless calf 2 : an independent individual who does not go along with a group or party This was also the name of a 1994 movie from Warner Bros. about a gambler (Mel Gibson) who meets his match. (Jodie Foster) The law is portrayed by James Garner, and a host of other notables filled out many of the minor roles. This movie reinforced the 'western' connotations of the word Maverick. In the late '50's to early '60's there was a TV show of the same name, also starring James Garner, that time as the gambler. Also in the '50's there were several other westerns with 'Maverick' in the title. I'd rather have a B&M dueling flyer, billed as Top Gun, with one side Iceman and the other side Maverick! I can't wait to find out what is really going on!
