Your a very strong kid, being the same age as you and I would most likely not be able to take the cancer situation as well as you have. It must be very hard for you, and I applaud you and your mom for having that much courage. Looks like you have a very nice place to yourselves there, cozy and small, but well kept up. I wish you and your mom all the best, that her treatments will go as planned and hopefully ride her of the cancer and kidney troubles. Post Script: I will third on your voice being nice, I wish my voice were as melodic as yours is.

Kings Dominion (KD) Discussion Thread

The reason why the rails are not painted is not because of the trains wheels wearing out faster, but rather the unsightly looks of the paint after it is chipped, dull and worn down. It is a waste of money to paint the rails, the paint is going to be worn down in the high stress spots by the end of the season. Why pay more for it when it doesn't last long? -

Great Trip Report! Those are some nice looking photos! This park looks like it is themed quite a bit. Would be nice to vist in a few years when they add more additions to their line up. -

rollin'_n'_coastin' I sat beside you on the charity ride. The onride picture taken of our ride is the most absolute brutal picture of me in life. The park was so packed (Like your pictures show) I feel really bad for some of the people who were trampled and had to wait in the crowd. It wasn't a very well thought of and organized process of getting people to the line safely, knowing that they had a very anticipated ride opening for the first time. -

Here is a picture of my girlfriend on the 3rd camelback sitting in the middel of the train. I think it shows the amount of airtime you recive on this ride! Airtime anyone? -

I was one of the 64 riders, I ended up riding twice in 20 minutes. First time I rode in the Very back, Outside right. and the second time in the second last car as the back car had been closed off due to malfunctioning of sensors in the track. All that I can say is that this ride is AMAZING! They sure do pump those trains on through the course, almost no stacking, even when they went into 3 train operation!!! The air time on the first drop is the most forceful I have ever experienced. It almost makes you sick to your stomach, (The feeling of an Intamin 1st Generation but 10000000x better!) and it is also very sustained! From the beginning of the crest to the end of the pull out of every hill you get ejector air! Helix Forceful and Trims on very, very Lightly, maybe not even at all. I think that everyone attending the Behemoth/Ravine flyer trip in August are going to enjoy the ride ALOT! and If you are considering the trip, It is going to be worth it, esspically with the 2 hours ERT! -

I read on here somewhere that the slide is both open and enclosed? If this is right, I would believe that the begging of the transition into the 90 degree section to the pull-out would be enclosed. So basicly, when you reach the summit of the volcano, the slide would become enclosed, and at the base of the volcano, after the pull-out, the slide would be open again going into the splash down lane. That makes the most sense to me. -

Spongebob to Space?
Cyber.Fiber replied to sfotkid's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Canadas Wonderland had a very good selection of movies that would change each season. From what I can recall, they have had the following: Titanic Space Themed One Sponge Bob Dinosaurs And I think some kinda war one??? They also played 2 different videos, because of the 2 theaters in the same complex up untill Sponge Bob came around. -

Just the other day, My friend and I got locked out of my house while out renting a movie, as my dad had to take my brother to hockey. My idea was to be a spy kid and climb a ladder onto the roof and crawl through the unlocked bathroom window. The whole backyard was icy and the ladder kept slipping, But I climbed anyways. When I got to the top of the roof, wind started to pick up, it had been really nice the whole day untill I got to the top of the roof. I had to hold onto the chiminey braces to stay on the roof. My firend was like screaming because she thought I was going to be blown off the roof. We relized that it was a pretty shitty idea and went to her house to watch the movie, 5 houses down from mine... -
I ski, I started last year and have improved alot. I joined my schools ski club this year, It is ALOT of fun, the lifts are probly one of the best parts of going. You get to have some pretty random conversations on the way up!

Wes, The Dragon thread had me laughing for about 1 hour. I thoughly enjoyed how hard Joey attempted in bringing the "Dragon" back from his lair by apologizing for everyone.

He uses the Canon Digital Rebel XTI, I asked the same question when I saw his photos from Cedar Point Closing Weekend Last year. I have used the camera several times, it has a very nice interface and you can do ALOT with it. It is an excellent camera, if you are willing to pay around $700.00 and upwards, if you want additional lens.

YES! Okay so as I was searching for the stupidly small ended USB, I found a camera that my parents bought for me right after christmas! It is slick! not the canon digital rebel XTI but it will do! I didn't bother toughing it because they will see that I have found it! This is so exciting! The reason I know it is for me, is because they were like "Do you like your sisters camera?" and I was like "YES!" Then they went onto the computer and were looking for one in black, but did not sucead in finding one and said "they only have silver." So I was just like "okay" I wonder when they will give it to me....? -
