Photo TR: Six Flags St. Louis, City Museum and More!
Cyber.Fiber replied to dj snow's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I feel sick just looking at the pictures of the slinky tubes. I cannot climb through the tunnels that move at McDonalds let alone do anything like that. And I am NOT afraid of heights Question: Do you have to go through the Slinky to get to the other areas of the museum? I would however LOVE the slides down to the basement! -
Head Rush and Greyouts - Getting Old?
Cyber.Fiber replied to brianwolters's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The only ride I have ever blacked out on is Dragon Fire at Canada's Wonderland. I belive that this is just because it is an old Arrow-Huss double loop, and the transition into the loops are very tight, causing the train to snap upwards instead of gliding smoothly into the element. I black out every time I ride it, even when I have ate in line. I think each person is different when it comes to this topic. Oh, and Italian Job is pretty bad for blacking out on too. -
Inversions vs. Angle of Descent
Cyber.Fiber replied to JDo217's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
True, but you have to remeber that the Overbanks on Millennium force are Horizontal, If they were counted as inversions they would need to be at least 180* instead of the 120* they are now. Steel Hawg however takes its 120* angle vertical which turns riders upside down completely. -

Flume-wise, I'd have to say I am really enjoying this TR! -
I just saw another ALWAYS advertisement. They have been going for a carnival theme, and their newest ad is a giant pad dodgems. How fun! All I want to think of during my period is that my pad is a bumper car ride. I feel bad for girls.

Make that 1 sequel, as the latter of the two will never be abel to premiere. All jokes aside, Wall-E was just an amazing film. I love every second of it. I actually cried. Wall-E is pixars crowning achievement in my eyes.

The Official TPR "East Coast/Behemoth Trip" Update
Cyber.Fiber replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I think that they are referring to the fact that it is the only stand up enterprise left in the world. Although, it can't be because Canada's Wonderland has one (Nightmares) along with their Huss Sky Lab (Orbiter), Which if I am not mistaken, may be the only ride of its type (4 person car enterprise) left in the world. And nataomic, That really sucks. I seriously found that ride to be BRUTAL! It was horrible. -
The station is set up in rows of 16. The rows are the exact same width across as every other row on any given ride. I really enjoy the new trains. The outside back seats are insane. You pretty much get whipped over the first hill and are thrown into the clamshell until you reach the bottom of the hill.

I found some of the transitions and track sections to be awkward or way to rough. You need to smooth the whole track and redesign some of the segments that there are large spikes in the g-force. Hope that helps! It has a nice layout! -
HAHAHA! I would assume it will be... If they have any sort of events (Fireworks, Parade) it will most likely be packed. Since i have not gone to one of these events (Canada Day, Victoria Day) since 2002, I have no idea. But from what I recall, getting lost in a huge crowd and being tramatized when I realized I was lost, It was very busy.

Vortex always has long lines. but when you are in the switch backs, you move continuously until you reach the station and from there waits are only about 10 minutes. Total wait time is only about 30-40 minutes and the ride is worth it. Second best ride in the park after Behemoth... But it is only a front row kinda ride.

Your 1st EVER NoLimits Coaster
Cyber.Fiber replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I think that mine is pretty good, considering having just ridden some of the others that are up in this thread. Does it count if we downloaded the demo and fooled around with that for many months before buying the program? This was my first real (and finished attempt) Here it is! Heartbeat.nltrack Heartbeat... My first NL Coaster!! -
PortAventura Discussion Thread
Cyber.Fiber replied to Shockwave's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
halltd, I don't really know what is so confusing about the whole setup of the rides, and why you still don't understand this and many other facts about S&S and Intamin Towers, when you have received many GREAT answers from the other members here. And agreeing with Robb's point: "For healthy people who meet the size requirements for the ride, you are probably safer on the average roller coaster than driving to the amusement park" University of Pennsylvania I know that in this case, it wouldn't matter if you were healthy and meet size requirements, It isn't like everyday a cable snaps on one of these, and consider the amount of people who ride each tower every day, It is highly unlikely that YOU would be one of the unlucky people riding if the cable snaps... -
Roller Coaster "death machines"

When riding Minebuster, you have to sit in the first car. Anywhere else is just painful. But I agree with you about Predator. It is brutal. -

Cyber.Fiber replied to Cyber.Fiber's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Okay, I just thought I need a program to do it. Thanks though -
Hey everyone, Yesterday I decided to buy No Limits. I find the game very easy to use and had no problems using the softwares interface. This is my first coaster, It took me just under 2 hours to compleat. It was all done by hand, with the exception of the lift hill and supports. I hope you guys like it. Criticize Please!
