  1. That is an awesome idea. I've always thought if there was ever a Namco tie in (Which of course would never happen) one monorail being Pacman and the others being Ghosts could be amusing, yeah I daydream too much at WDW...
  2. Rob, have you upgraded to a DSLR with a fisheye lens? Photos are looking great! Still sad to see Amity being swallowed up though
  3. Happy Birthday Kristen! Hope you have a fun day!
  4. The official announcement of the Turtle Trek scheduled opening date has been made : April 27th! http://www.insideseaworld.com/seaworld-orlando-announces-opening-date-turtletrek?utm_source=social&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=SeaWorld_Orlando_Announces_Opening-Date_for_TurtleTrek
  5. If I recall correctly, they don't actually stick it down their necks... I remember watching a 'behind the scenes' type thing where they said they agree with an audience member before the show to be a part of the show but, they cut into video where a scope being used in a medical experiment, it's rather seamless as it goes dark on the screen when the audience member closes their mouth and that's the point where the video plays.
  6. I haven't really tried that many here so, my judgement isn't too strong, but out of: The Hulk Stealth Cheetah Hunt Revenge of the mummy (Which I always forget has a launch!) Rock N' Roller coaster I must go for the Hulk. It's got such a great launch, it's not too intense but it's still exciting; the experience with the lights, the tunnel and the audio combined is just awesome for me, do remember I havn't been on too many launched coasters though... For me, a large factor also is that the rest of the coaster is just downright beautiful and twiisttyy . Still one of my favourite coaters on this planet, I am such a B&M fanboy though.
  7. Wow! Amazing photos, am a big fan of long exposure stuff so, good work my friend, I look forward to your next work if that comes!
  8. ^ WOW. That's some seriously upgraded graphics, I can't wait to see the next teaser shots.
  9. Front row on Kraken at SWO. Wow. Even though they usually stop in that kinda weather (In FL, rain = lightings a' coming) it still ran, it had been drizzling all day so, maybe why. It was a bit of a punishing ride but, with it being warm rain, was a total rush.
  10. Just remembered, the staff on the merchandise stalls near to and on the entry to The Hulk wear ear plugs, wow that's an epic roar.
  11. I find Kumba to be quite uncomfortably loud now actually, I sometimes even wear earplugs when i'm riding when I have a headache (which with that ride, you will develop after a 5 run spree) Also, I think they must have turned the volume up on MIB & spiderman it's quite piercing at times now. I think I however am an old grumpy man at heart however so, you know.
  12. hahah too true. The theming is just... confusing
  13. I'm a big fan of the Incredible Hulk Coasters supports, I love how you exit underneath the launch tube and get to hear the rumble of the speakers and the WHOOSH of the launch, it's still epic.
  14. Agreed on Cheetah Hunt, it should have been named Cheetaka, it would have fitted more in with Sheikra, Monta, Kumba etc etc. Also agreed on HRRR... I still dwell on why the naming committee came up with... that mouthful... haha. My dad has a speech impediment and cannot physically say the ride's name, not exactly great for inclusion to all guests aye?
  15. You cannot comprehend how jealous I am of you and this epic list of parks... wow.
  16. Sounds like there are too many co-incidences for it not to be true then, wow. Well, for me, I'm not that excited, (am actually a little disappointed tbh...) however I know a lot of people that will go mental excited at this news. I wonder when Universal will finally make their announcement.
  17. ^ wow. Seriously wow. That's really impressive. I do realise it's just a curtain of water but with a fancy projection system however, it is fascinating. It took me a little bit of time to work it out myself, I could see kids being taken with it, it's rather mesmerising actually.
  18. Am I the only person on this earth that quite likes Pepsi then? haha. Well, I'm not sure what kind of money difference it makes for Seaworld with sponsorship / contract but, I hope it brings more money for the park!
  19. I think... the whole plane continuity argument is... not that important in the scheme of things, just look at it - WOW! For a UK coaster, this is crazily well themed really, good work to Thorpe park on this one, i'm getting ever increasingly excited every time I see updates on this one.
  20. Yep, managed to do 4 parks in a day... wow, it was... tiring. Certainly something I wanted to do, managed to hit the major attractions in each park except for Aerosmith in studios as it was temporarily down and we couldn't be bothered to wait for it really. Was a fun day though rushing around and stuff.
  21. Hi guys, Not sure which thread to have put this in, is a bit of an odd link here however, as there was a picture of Cali Screamin', I thought it would be most appropriate here. Right, the premise is that this kid went on a vacation to Disneyland and obviously had a really "good time". Made me laugh, I do realise it doesn't contribute to any discussion on the park or anything, it just made me smile so, thought i'd share it. The happiest kid in Disneyland... ever
  22. May I just question... is there any firm evidence so far that it IS expanding to Universal Studios instead of just an IOA extension?? I mean, it does make sense for it to with the London - Hogwarts connection but, surely they could just expand into Lost Continent which is pretty much defunct anyway? I've been reading the thread and yes, while it does make sense for park hopper tickets and getting more people in the Studios, it seems maybe a bit too much faff? I've just still got a slight niggle about calling it for sure until Universal does confirm anything...
  23. Hi everyone, just thought would be of interest, especially as Robb and Ellissa love Epcot so much. Once again, sorry for copying the knowledge from another coaster site but, it seems to get the info long before anyone, I for one would be interested to see what they will be testing, sounds good to me! The source was from here
