  1. As for Cypress Gardens, check out the ski show at least. The skate show is kind of ghetto. As for a hotel, you can stay at one hotel for the length of your visit. If you want to stay within walking distance, try the Holiday Inn on Kirkman Drive. You can probably walk to the parks in 15-20 minutes. I think they have a shuttle to Universal too. There are many hotels along International Drive and Kirkman Drive that have shuttles. If you're going to CG or Disney, you might want to rent a car. I don't think the parks will be too busy before Christmas. It's usually the week between Christmas and New Year's that will be busy. Christmas Eve is usually pretty quiet.
  2. I was wondering around the mall a few days ago and I saw a game called "The Bible Game" for the PS2. I'm not a religious man, but it did spark my curiosity. I'd probably rent it just to see what it was like. I haven't seen a religious-themed game in a while. I know the NES had one or two, but from what I recall, the gameplay was pretty awful. Who has played this game? Read more information about it here: http://www.cravegames.com/games/biblegame/index.html
  3. I know what Robb and Elissa will be doing during their anniversary. *wink wink*
  4. What's up with this?
  5. ^Oh great, now we will have "KidTums!"
  6. I hope Adventure City doesn't close. For what it had, it was pretty neat. Treetop Racers is one of the best wild mouse coasters I've ever ridden. The Freeway Coaster had the branch headchopper o' doom. Best of all, ACErs could get in for $6 a head! I was wearing my Florida Coaster Club t-shirt and they gave me the discounted admission too. Who wants to buy a condo now? There's prime locations in the former spots of Miracle Strip Amusement Park, SF Astroworld, and now Adventure City!
  7. OK, I have one of those face distorter programs. If Robb and Elissa made it and had a kid, he or she would look like this... *runs and hides*
  8. If R&E have kids, then he should be named "Barry Hom Alvey." But you know, the kids will be named... Kumba Alvey Balder Alvey Expedition GeForce Alvey
  9. My SFOG season pass was $49 and the park looks really nice. You can also get a SFOG one day ticket at AAA for $24.75. Now that is a good deal! The one day ticket also comes with coupons for food and games. So in the end, SFOG makes $ off the discounted tickets. The average guest will probably see the tickets and say, "I get $1 off a carnival game!" and they will probably play it. SFOG makes some $. With my season pass, I still have to pay for parking at every Six Flags park I visit. Park averages about $10 per park. I don't think parking on a piece of pavement costs the park $10, so they make money off that. You got to eat too, so you can eat the Six Flags slop and they make $ off that. In the end, unless you don't eat, drink, play anything, or pay for parking, Six Flags will make $ somehow in the end. They may not make lots of money like they do on a full priced one day ticket, but $1 is better than no dollars.
  10. What's up with this?
  11. I wasn't planning on going since I'm trying to save up vacation days and I could only go on a Saturday, but now I see Saturday dates. I might go on December 15. I was relying on information from DISBoards.com for the MVMCP dates, but it turns out someone left out some dates and needs to update the prices! The link is here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=752567&page=1&pp=15 I've never seen hard ticketed events sold on their website. Cool, now I don't have to call CRO! 8)
  12. I got the video on Thursday and I've watched part of it. So far, so good! The hair dryer food eating demo was very funny! Did it really heat the food and how was the meal after being heated in such a manner? The POV of the kiddie coasters was the best! I don't see R&E doing that! Monica is pretty hot, BTW, but dang it, she's taken! Now Don is another matter...
  13. The very cheap Willy Wonka Halloween costume
  14. I would like to boycott people who organize boycotts.
  15. "I'm a little traffic cone, long and red, The glue I sniffed has gone to my head"
  16. I think Fruit of the Loom is better. The Fruit of the Loom guys dressed in fruit would make a nice character meet and greet. 8)
  17. What' s up with this?
  18. I heard that the sponsor of the ride will be Fruit of the Loom.
  19. ^^Does Pinnacle Studio have a button like that?
  20. How do I become a "ninja beeyatch" to get stuff for free?
  21. I hope they don't take it to PMs because I want to see someone get smacked! I got my popcorn and front row seats!
  22. I ordered mine. I got his 2004 video. It was pretty neat, but it had way too much heavy metal music. Still, the DVD showed a lot of promise.
  23. Great pictures! If you're going to PKD, definitely do Hypersonic first. I was right at the front of the rope drop and headed straight for Hypersonic. I was on the first train out. The line for the rest of the day was an hour long!
  24. I've only been to SoCal, but I have to say X was overrated. The surprisingly fun coaster was Treetop Racers at Adventure City. It's one of the best wild mice I've ever ridden. Those tree branches were sure some wicked headchoppers!
  25. How much lower can GL's admission go? It's $25 for the park. I think it's a good deal, considering you get an amusement park with about a ahlf a dozen coasters and some flats, plus a waterpark. The CP Getaway Guide has a coupon for $23 GL admission.
