  1. I just can’t imagine going back, over and over, to a park that infuriates me so badly.
  2. What makes you think the park would divulge such information?
  3. That would be the most un-B&M thing to ever happen. They don’t even have the balls to make their smaller dive coasters go full 90-degrees.
  4. With 365 operations, does it really matter? I could see being annoyed if the ride opened late September and then the park was closed November thru April, but that’s not the case. It’s best to just laugh about it. Because Six Flags. What’ll be really funny is if SFMM announces their 2020 attraction at the end of the month along with every other SF, or if they’ll see the irony in that and hold off until after West Coast Racers opens. Aw, who am I kidding?
  5. Memberships don’t make any sense at a park that’s only open half the year.
  6. I thought for sure you were going to point out that he wants a long, new coaster but would also be happy with the flat out removal of one of the current ones
  7. It’s almost as if enthusiasts should just let parks present us with information as they see fit to create some sense of mystery, and not try to discover every single detail of a new attraction. But that would require patience.
  8. Hyper? 2006 I believe. Goliath SFOG. Giga? Never. Don’t get your hopes up.
  9. You seem to be the only one upset, dude. This site might not be for you if you’re so sensitive.
  10. All I’m saying is that if everyone and their grandma (literally based on this thread) already knows exactly what is coming to Kings Island next year because all of the details were discovered (“snooping” or not), I wouldn’t be shocked or disappointed if they decide not to do your precious teaser campaign and focus that energy and money elsewhere.
  11. If I were a park and enthusiasts ruined all the excitement by snooping and taking pictures of blueprints, I would forego any teasers too, just as an FU. I hope they don’t even make an announcement and just open the damn thing with zero fanfare and let enthusiasts lose their GD minds for the next eight months.
  12. If food that’s supposed to be hot is literally cold, send it back. If “cold” means “not immediately out of the oven/fryer/pan, onto your plate and sat in front of you”, then you need to re-evaluate your expectations of amusement park food.
  13. As a former TTD ride op, I’ve seen a handful of dislocated shoulders from people who had their hands up on the launch, so I understand. Granted, that’s only a handful out of tens of thousands of times I’ve witnessed it, but this is the reason for the rule, I’m sure.
  14. Well then prepare to be disappointed.
  15. ^^ This isn’t a blank map in Roller Coaster Tycoon. Parks don’t really have the luxury most of the time to spread rides out perfectly and ideally. They make due with what they can.
  16. But he’s a MEMBER! Part of an exclusive club of Six Flaggers who are willing and able to pay $8 per month!
  17. It was easy back in 1989 without air gates, seat belts, smart phones and a “bring everything with you” approach to loose articles. Aah, the good ole days.
  18. I was gonna say... so you’re ok with waiting 4 hours for Pirates, which is a 15 minute ride?
  19. Rides break down for a hundred different reasons and Gemini only operates one side for staffing/budget/projected attendance. Neither of which necessarily spell out that the ride is going anywhere anytime soon. That said, it wouldn’t shock me if Gemini wasn’t around in 10 years, but I’d be pretty sad if it wasn’t.
  20. I’m personally psyched with this layout. It’s basically what you’d get if you took out the two lamest parts of Fury (the shallow hill after the stall-dive thingy and the helix) and that’s perfectly fine with me.
  21. I’m bringing fanny packs back. Fashion faux pas or not, they’re damn convenient at theme parks, if only to store your phone when you’re on rides.
  22. Imagine a world where people are concerned about getting a 285-ft B&M
  23. Terrain could very well account for an additional 15 feet. People need to calm their tits.
  24. One day at Knott’s, two at Disneyland. You won’t regret spending the extra cash.
