Sorry, forgot to ask one thing, how much should we expect to pay for drinks such as wine and orange juice at bars and restaurants and how much could we be spending on other extras? Thanks Again!

Hey There, Me and my family are going on a Royal Caribbean Cruise in the Med on the Independence on the 14th of August. Just had a few questions, thought I'd ask here as you seem to go on RCI quite a bit! Just wanted to know... When we should be able to get on and off the boat on the first and last day of the cruise? What sort of entertainment we should except onboard? Information about dinning such as how busy is the buffet and which of the speciality restaurants are worth it? Would you recommend the excursions and if so what kind on ones would be best value and most interesting? Also any other information would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Hey, I have a few questions about a trip to florida. The trip would be part of a USA trip in summer 2009. 1. First which do you think would be best, 3nights in the Royal Pacific hotel at Universal or 4nights off site on i-drive? 2. How should I spend my time in the area? A bit of info to help with the answer, I only really want to be visiting parks in the i-drive area, I prefer big rides and also like water parks but not too much. I dont want to spend too much time travelling around either. Thanks for the help!

This thing looks sweet. The Gerstlauer launch coasters seem to be quite an up and coming thing at the moment which I think is good. -

I would recommened contacting the park it's self. Im sure they will be the best people to point you in the right direction to buying your ticket's. Make sure you tell them what country you live in. Hope this helps! -

Well it does look ok, I guess I would want to ride it to see how it is. I think it's one of those coasters that you don't know if it's good of not just by the video. -
Cedar Point, New Rain Policy
handy-andy replied to raptor2011's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I understand what your saying but modern coasters are designed to work the same wether it's raining of not. Granted so of the older rides like Magnum might not but all of the newer rides like Maverick, TTD e.t.c. should work fine in the rain. So sure take a train of Magnum but on the modern rides their is really no need. -
Cedar Point, New Rain Policy
handy-andy replied to raptor2011's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Is it me or does this policy just make even less sense than the first one? It's like they are purposely making people wait longer when there is really no need. -
Awsome photo's there, Vegas is an awsome place. Is it me or are they buliding something everywhere though? Anyway great report

Very impressive! i really like the toboggan and fury coasters. I can see a lot of potential here so keep up the good work! -
The flying turns looks like a great ride, hopefuly they will open the thing soon!

Sure the park may be better now it is owned by Merlin and I just personaly didn't like the park. However I have to say many people I know had a bad experiance going in the summer. I am sure the park will be fun if it's not the summer! Also I have to agree the Magic Mountain re-theme looks quite good, hopefuly they will try to smooth it out a bit too!

Well once you have been on spinball whizzer you need to ride the rides I a logical order as to prepare your self for the scarier rides, I would suggest riding the big 4 coasters in this order: -Air -Rita -Oblivion -Nemisis This way you shouldn't get too nervous about riding each ride. Air is a good, slow but fun start, Rita is just a fun launch coaster that doesn't go too fast (you could go on oblivion before this), Oblivion is slightly more scary due to the vertical drop so idealy ride this after Air and Rita. Finally once you have been on the other 3 coasters you should be more than ready for Nemisis. (If you still have a problem just get your friends to force you on it) Another thing try to get all the big 4 coasters and spinball out of the way first to make sure you don't run out of time. Minetrain is boring so only ride it if you have the time and... Have a great day! P.S. If you are worried about time buy a fast pass! -
Ok, this is going to get me going, I went in the summer (if you are thinking of going in the summer DONT). The rides are not good, service is appauling, the queues are a joke and its generally a bad park, seriously I almost died. Im sure you would far prefer, eventhough there are no really coaster credits to go to Movie Land (http://www.canevaworld.it/movieland/) this park is right next door and is a better exeriance. Whatever you do enjoy your holiday!
