  1. ^ *blink* Session ID? --Robb "Please explain....I don't know as much about this whole internet thingy as people might think!" Alvey
  2. Ahh! Thanks for the help on those. I'll fix the BGT and BGW mistakes when I get home tonight. Fixed the RNR and TOT links as well. Thanks for your help! --Robb
  3. ^ No problem at all! Thanks again for posting the links! --Robb
  4. ^ No, he CAN link to other places with photos, just please not use the "Photo TR" moniker in the title. Thanks for posting the link to the photos! I will say though, you will probably get a little more traffic or comments on your photos if you did post a couple of them here, and then the link "To see the rest of the photos click here...." for example. But, overall, Coasterbill did nothing wrong. --Robb "Please let US police our site, thanks!" Alvey
  5. Ahect, those are GREAT pics! Thanks for posting them! The crowds were insane! I would have been one of the people that said "screw the merch and the ceremony and I'll go ride stuff while the lines are short!" I'm still laughing so much at the fact that the park didn't close to capacity and that it wasn't really necessary to wait until 2am. Although I guess the people over at Westcoaster aren't laughing because they deleted my post about it! I still say that it doesn't matter if you're a Disney geek, and ACE member, or a trekkie. As long as you can have fun and even laugh at yourself if you need to, that's what's important! I still laugh at myself for waiting 3 hours for Dragster! Yes, it was stupid, but it was also fun! Looks like if you didn't care about the ceremony or ther merchandise it would be a pretty damn nice day at DLR! --Robb "Glad to see we have smart people here who had all the fun of the celebration!" Alvey
  6. Ok, thanks everyone! So now that I have pages of people saying there aren't any problems, I'm going chalk this one up to people having spyware or some kind of issues with their system or browser. Thanks for your help! --Robb
  7. LMAO At the cupcake "Detail shot!" These pics are great! Keep 'em coming! --Robb "Kind of surprised that the 50th logo on the hat was a sticker!" Alvey
  8. ^ Wait, what are you talking about? I haven't changed the captions or the updates at all, just the page that organizes them! The coaster photo pages are just coaster photos, but all the update pages are EXACTLY the same! Other than I re-did them using the newer format rather than the old "black background" format. For the coaster photos pages, I just take the coaster and ride photos out of the 'caption' updates, and put them on their own page. I haven't changed the way we do updates. --Robb "Confused." Alvey
  9. Hey everyone! I have been working on a "re-vamp" for the photo gallery for a little while now and I have a version that I can roll out in order to get some feedback. The basic idea behind this was to be able to organize all our photos better and seperate our "park" photos, that have all our goofy antics with our "coaster and ride" photos, so if you actually want to see pictures of Journey To The Center Of The Earth at Tokyo Disneyland, you don't have to weed through 6 pages of photos to find them! Anyway, here is the link: http://www.themeparkreview.com/photos/index.htm As you can see, I've only gotten through the "D" parks, but any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks again! --Robb "Always working to make this site better for all of you!" Alvey
  10. Also, just so you all know there will NEVER be ads on Theme Park Review!!! (other than for our DVDs!) I am totally against pop-ups and ad banners and you will never see us clutter TPR with them! Personally, I don't think people make that much money off them in the first place, so why make your site look like crap by having them? I would much rather do what we do and sell content that reflects what the site is about to help pay to keep it running than having a full screen ad pop up every time you want to click on something! So if anyone ever sees something like this, please don't assume I've gone the way up 'ads' because that will not happen! --Robb
  11. ^Oh, ok, whatever. That was the closest thing I could find to maybe explain something since all these people kept saying that there was something going on with the site, but I still have yet to see it or see anything in any of our data that shows there was any files or data altered. Still, some people claim to have seen it in IE, so I'm assuming it must have been some kind of spyware or something else. --Robb "Still baffled" Alvey
  12. Yeah, great pics! Thanks for sharing! --Robb "Who is still laughing so hard at Dan for getting there at 4am!" Alvey
  13. Can people also respond if they are NOT getting these ads? When it's only the people who are getting them that respond, I assume that EVERYONE (but me!) is seeing these! Even a simple "Not seeing them" response is fine. Thanks for your help! --Robb "Trying to figure if it's people's browsers or TPR!" Alvey
  14. ^ Yeah, I just did some messing with the SQL databases just to make sure there was no hacking or anything, so that may have caused that glitch. --Robb
  15. ^ PM me your email address and let me know. Usually if I have two of the same email addresses on the list, the emailer only sends one copy. It could be that I have two different emails of yours. --Robb
  16. ^ Wait...wait....so I just want to make sure I'm reading that correctly...so all those people that stood in line from 4am really didn't need to because the park ended up not being that crowded and there were plenty of hats and cupcakes to go around? LMFAO!!!!! Wow, those people who "camped out" sure are stupid!!! --Robb "I'm so laughing at Dan right now!!!" Alvey
  17. Anyone else seeing this or does the forum seem to be working fine?
  18. Looks like it's NOT TPR, but Mozzilla. From the offical website: http://www.spreadfirefox.com/ I didn't think it was anything done to our site. When I see 97% of people coming to TPR that use IE, I stick to it! --Robb
  19. Ok, I have just moved this to the main board so more people can see it. Can EVERYONE please RESPOND to this and tell me if you are seeing these ads or if anything weird is going on! And if so, please let me know what browser you are using! Thanks. --Robb
  20. Ok, what browser are you all using? Here's the deal. NONE of the files or settings on my server has changed AT ALL since I put this forum on the new server. So nothing on the site has been altered. It *HAS* to be either a virus, spyware, or something that is affecting your browser! As far as I can tell, nothing on the TPR server has been changed, hacked, or anything! I'm willing to help if I can, but I can't see anything that would be causing this. --Robb
  21. ^ Woah....that's really bizarre! Just checked the files and logs on the FTP site and nothing has been altered. Are you SURE this wasn't some kind of weird Spyware thing? Has anyone else seen this? --Robb "Whatever it is, there's no indication that our files have been altered in any way at all." Alvey
  22. Gee...for some reason, that IMO doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Waiting for 5 hours to get to a park with 50,000 people? I don't like going to the park when there is 5,000! If I showed up ANYWHERE and saw a line that long for ANYTHING, I'd turn right around and leave! Even if it was Expedition GeForce! Nothing is worth that amount if insanity, IMO. I guess if I was a real Disney "freak" maybe I could apprecaite doing something like that, but it's the same reason we don't go camping out for openings of coasters, movies, etc. I just prefer to get the same experience WITHOUT a ton of people and not having to wait in crazy, insane lines. Standing in a line with 50,000 of the most insane Disney freaks just doesn't sound like my kind of thing! To those of you who are into Disney that much, I hope you have a good time! I'll appreciate hearing about it via the Photo Trip Reports! --Robb "We still have yet to see any of the 50th anniversary...maybe we'll get back down there before the 51st B-day!" Alvey

  25. Here's the thing I don't get - Why do people want to bother in the first place? 99% of the "Awesome POV" I download is pure crap! It's shakey, mostly pointed at anything BUT the track, etc.... Most people just don't have the right equipment nor do they have the experience shooting onrides. And just a DV cam that you pick up at Best Buy does NOT cut it! So you've risked your day at a park for some crappy footage? I just don't get it. --Robb "Who has spent THOUSANDS on equipment over the years." Alvey
