I have never seen them sale out before park opens. Just go ride maverick a time or two, then go to the gift shop near Maverick and by your band before the park opens. Most people will not be them before hand.

2 days now working on a 3rd day at the moment.

My Disney trip is about 16 days. I will be getting max pass. This is my first time to Disneyland. Any tips to make my time more enjoyable. Whats the best time to hit Galaxy s edge? First thing in the morning or end of the night.

Yes its Columbus Day weekend, but its still a Thursday.

Would a Thursday be a better time to visit then? Also would them placing the solar project on hold, have anything to do with all the filming that they do in the lot?

What do crowds look like on a Thursday in October. Would get to the park before noon but i know the park closes at 5:30.

I hate being this person but since i have wanted to go to this park for about 20 years now. I will be going to Disneyland in October and have most of a full Sunday to explore LA,or talk my wife into going to Magic Mountain. The date would be Sunday October 13th. What would you expect the crowd level like on Sundays in October. I could get to the park at opem and would need to leave around 6 to get to LAX. Would Quick Q be needed? If so might be a deal breaker as i do not want to pay for it if i did not have to. Thanks

I have not used an Uber to get to the park , but lots of bars and restaurants around. I do not see it being that hard to get one. I think the drop of is right in front of the Big kings island sign. So a small walk to the gate

Being early 30's people ask me and my wife if we want to have kids, i always tell them we just practice a lot. I guess going on what Prozach says. I think i have started to hit the same point. I still want to try new parks, and love going to cedar point, but at the same point the two trips i have made to Cedar point this year, i have not stayed past 5. The first trip after riding everything in the park that had been open, i wanted to get one last ride on Raptor, but some teen was laying on the Ground new the entry saying trying to get the picture for Instagram. I knew it was time to leave. The 2nd trip we had a play to stay in port Clinton, and once we left cedar point to let our dog out, I found no reason to go back for the day. I could go have a few drinks and sit and look at the lake and that sounded much nicer then walking around Cedar point. I also understand the friends part. My friends are more willing to say go to a away city for a Hockey game then they will be to go to a city for a Amusement park

You can not under estame the Power of DJ's. I Have friends that want to go back and see a few of them in just a short 3 or 4 day trip. I might be going this winter and seeing one. EDC Vegas i know brings in a ton of people, and with that Djs have shows before the big night time event starts. When you have names Like The Chainsmokers and Steve Aoki people will pay to go.

The fact is that before Harry potter Universal was on the edge of going out of business/being sold again. A year of Harry potter saved the park. JK might of wanted Dueling dragons out, but we did get a few more good years with the ride. I am sad to see it go as it was an amazing coaster. I rode it a few weeks before it closed, and it still rocked. The thing i would never understand is everything around the park would be busy but dragon challenge never had a line. You could ride Red and blue in less then a half hour. More Potter means more money leading to more none Potter attractions. The fact they they are leaving screen based attraction behind is a win for everyone.

Do Plat pass also work for Haunt?

I have a question about the Halloween event. I am looking to finally make it to the park in October. The hours listed on the website show 10-5. I know Kings Island and Cedar point do a one ticket all day, but this looks like park closes then open it back up for hunt. I would take it if you got fast lane its only for the one part of the day you go? Any help or tips would be great.

Good to hear that the food is getting better. I feel over the last few years this is something that they have been working on across the chain. Looks like the last two B&M's at Cedar Point show X-works. I am sure that someone has pictures of the sticker on Diamondback, and also Yukon striker to compare.

I have counted out Cedar point getting anything big in 2020. Seems more likely that Kings Island will get a big B&M in 2020, since all fingers pointing that way already. They will not open to big rides in Ohio in the same year. I see cedar point adding a dark ride, or adding on to the new forbidden frontier for 2020.

I was thinking that in the next 2 years we will see a dark ride maybe under the ballroom, but the old ballroom will not go anyplace. I know they have school dances and other things use that space during the season. For a new coaster i feel that wicked twister could come down and a wooden could get added in that spot till build on the boardwalk theme.

How did you like the Cabin? I really would like to stay in one once.

I ended up valet parking my car Saturday night. Since i could not find a place to park.

The website says that you can just add a 2nd day for $23. Might just be worth it for extra rides and less stress on Saturday!

I am waiting to hear how bad last weekend was. . I would say the waits will be near what bill posted last week. The weather is cooling down this weekend but really will not help on Saturday. The best bet is to try to get rides in Friday if you have time.
