That would be a cool spot for a log ride, but sadly rumors have been floating around for years that Cedar Creek Mine Ride will be the next coaster to leave Cedar point also do not see them building one with the disasters that were shot the rapids. If they do something in that spot they would build some kind of new roller coaster. just my .02 cents

So thinks might have changed over the last few weeks but they did more layoffs then hiring.

They have also cut a lot of maintenance staff hours right now. It seems like they would not want to pay them to test rides with no start date in sight.

They don't have the staff to start testing rides at this time. You will see job fairs posted before the rides test. What they have said is that it will take 6 to 8 weeks to open once they get the okay from the State.

I just show that about the city. I have been keeping an eye on this.I just really enjoy going up to the Lake and Cedar Point. If people can not go out on the lake or say go to put Inn Bay that will all hurt them and the city around Sandusky. Just know your next trip to the point might look Different, might have fewer hotels to pick from. Might be worth trying to leave the park to support a local restaurant

This is good for PR and a strong Business move. People will be happy that they get 2021 for free maybe and maybe few months in 2020. Most peoples passes should already be paid off that should help increase in-park spending in 2021. Some people might also pick up passes know that they will get 2021 for free. Bringing some cash in to help with the times right now.

Sea world is a really great park. Great to see how well it's doing after all the blackfish hate. The craft beer bar near the water is great. I will check out the shark bar on my next visit.

I can see Cedar point and all parks with many deals as soon as they opens. They will do what they can to get people into the parks. With them being closed a month or two longer then they thought.

A big thing was people have been on lock down and can not train. They want everyone to have the best chance to compete. So the parks may stay opens, since this is more about the athletes and other places still on Lock down then it is of Japan itself

Now would be the time. This is just ramping up in Florida, and the beach have not been closed yet. I would say they will have more then 3 weeks till they open again

Some people might see it as if i save $50 bucks and ride everything with out waiting much, then it gives me time to wait for 2 or 3 other rides and still not feel rushed. But moving MF really makes + the only one to get.

They still have some kind of maintenance schedule that they have to stick to so that everything is ready for opening day. Yes this week has been warm, but who knows what next year will bring. Could have snow on the ground in November.

Looks like they have started removing track from Vortex. The pre-lift section has been removed.

My bet would be about the food/and drinks that they will be bringing back that have long since gone. what the plan is for the resort that they bought, and other little shows and touches that will be going on this year. Maybe he will talk about the pass perks.

They will just have to do what Knott's and CW do and break the day into two parts. A no haunt day with alone rides. Then if you want to stay for the haunts you need to by a 2nd ticket for the haunts. Not sure if they will do to hotels and during Halloween you have to stay for a min of 2 days

People who had no plan to go to the park had days ruined due to the park being closed.

I think the inside hunts open on Sunday, The outside ones do not open due to the fact that its not super dark by the team the park closes.

I was going to say i drink a few beers and walk around, but i did not want to force that fun on everyone.

The weather looks to be perfect. Ohio State plays on Friday. It will be packed. Get early do as much as you can before the park gets to busy. You can just enjoy the park walk around, do things you normally would not. With how Busy the park is this is still one of my favorite times to visit. Just has a different feel. As long as you go in open minded you will be fine.
