Well I don't think it'd necessarily need a lot of restraints cuz unless the ride malfunctions and the axels don't let the cars rotate automatically (causing the cars to turn upsidedown) they'd probably just need a seatbelt and a lapbar which doesn't take that long to load. Plus if it's a longer more terrain using ride that means it probably wouldn't be that hard to get cars in & out. -

*In line for Renegade (GCI at Valleyfair)* Lady in front of me-:-Ohh this one looks scary! All those fast turns and stuff! Me-:-Yeahh it's pretty much the best ride here. Lady-:-Does it go upsidedown?! Me-:-Yeah it actually does 12 times (Joking. . . ) Lady-:-Yeah I heard about the one in Wisconsin that does that. . . _______________________________________________________________ *In line for Wild Thing (Hyper coaster that derailed causing only injuries last year)* Guy in front of me-:-Yeah I heard this beast had an accident last year Other guy-:-Yeah I know I heard that it was kinda like Final Destination 3! Me-:-You know that's fake right? Other guy-:-Yeah but still I heard something like 39 people died and 1 guy escaped because he wore his seatbelt. Me-:-You know you have to wear your seatbelt right? Guy in front of me-:-Yeah but nobody does. . . it's more challenging to stay on then. I dunno though if he was kiddin or serious. -

Hey! Nice to see that someone enjoys the park as much as I do! Yeah ever since opening day last year it's been my favorite woodie in the park. Night rides on that thing are beastly. I love the trains. Very comfy, and yeah no seat dividers are huge pluses. Aw come on I think it rides better then CP's. . . Being a regular, I should know, but I don't, and I don't think anyone ever will. Yeah it's either a hit or miss, sometimes they have that waterfall off which is nice cuz you don't get wet, but on a summer day it's a great ride. I hate myself for agreeing. You're lucky you didn't visit on a busy day, you woulda had to wait for Renegade probably 30-45 (Yes, here in MinnEsota, we consider that a semi-long line. Well, glad to see you had fun! -

Valleyfair Park Management - You won't find many lines here unless you're running into a summer weekend. If you know what you want to ride and when, you can fit everything in one day very easily. - If you want higher thrills and more fun, go to the right after you enter. If you want more family oriented thrills along with the parks only looping coaster, go left. - White Water Country Waterpark is a very popular place during the summer, so if you're planning on being there most of the day, go there early, and set up place at one of many layback chairs. - The park is very easy to navigate, but don't forget that there's more rides on the path behind Renegade! - There are no flashpasses, but there aren't that bad of lines, so you shouldn't run into any trouble with line times. Best time to go to the park -Weekday During The Summer -Halloween Haunt - Earlier in the season, as the lines for the haunts can get up to 3 hours on a Saturday later in the Haunt Season. -September Weekends. Food Recommendations - Definitely hit up Coasters Drive-In, or Ben&Jerry's. Both very good places to chow down! Ride Recommendations -Renegade -:- World class GCI. Great fast paced ride, with lots of little pops of air, and lots of great twists & turns. -Wild Thing -:- Morgan Hypercoaster. Not the most thrilling hypercoaster in the country, but still a great ride. Very fun, and you can see most of the park if not all of it from the ride at any time. 207 ft. drop - Max Speed of 74 M.P.H -Xtreme Swing -:- A very tall & fun S&S XL Screamin Swing. Lines during the middle of the summer can look long, but considering it's 40 people per cycle, and cycle's are short, shouldn't take to long to get through the line. -High Roller -:- Great classic woodie. Lots of bunny hops, turns, and fun. Lots of trims though Extras -Challenge Park is an added section of the park that includes 2 - 18 Hole Mini-Golf Courses, Go Karts, a Ripcord, and Bumper Boats.[/b] -

I heard that the Log Flume at Nick Universe is getting totaled. -
Well I am going now! Can't wait. Question though, I heard CP is least busy on wednesdays, and I know it's August, so will I be fine? Or will I still have to endure the 3 hour lines?

Um. . . is everyone forgetting the log flume @ Nick Universe? One of the best ones on earth? Elissa come on ya gotta back me up on this one! -
Thanks for all the advice! I know I'm going but the thing is I gotta get my grade up to a 3.0 before the end of the year, but considering that we don't have any more tests or anything (just finals) I might not get to go. But I will no matter what go next year if I don't go this year. But yeah I do have a platinum pass.

Yay! I can't wait for the next update! -
Hey everyone. I'm going on a huge road trip with my dad this summer to 7 different amusement parks (and one small park). This trip is taking place from Saturday the 26th, through around August 10-13th. Here's the schedule: Valleyfair is hosting Coaster Craze July 25th, (Friday) and then the next day, we're leaving for Chicago. We're staying with our relatives in Chicago all of Sunday, and then on Monday we're going to SFGAM. All day there, getting the gold flash pass, and then returning to our relatives house for the night. That Tuesday morning, we're leaving early, and traveling to Sandusky, checking into either Breaker's or Breaker's Express at around 4, and then spending a half day at CP. The next day, (Wednesday) is an all CP day. Sleeping in Breaker's/Breaker's Express (we don't know yet) that night, spending a half day at CP, and then traveling the 3-4 hours to KI. We'll check in, maybe swim in the hotel pool, sleep and then on that Friday, go to Kings Island. Spend all day there, and then sleep in the hotel that night, and drive all Saturday to Hershey PA. On Sunday, spend all day at Hershey, stay over night, drive to Manassas to stay with my Dad's Friends for the day/night, and then that Tuesday, visit my grandpa in Maryland. That Wednesday, drive out to KD early, spend all day there, after KD closes, drive to Williamsburg, and check in/stay the night there. Thursday morning, drive the whole 1 mile to BGE. Spend all day there, go back to the hotel, and then the next day, possibly do some site seeing. After that, drive all the way back to around the Michigan area, go to MIA on some day yet to be determined, and then drive back to Minnesota, and on the way visit Timber Falls to get my Avalanche credit. So here's a better/easier to understand list: Friday July 25th - Coaster Craze @ VF Saturday July 26th - Drive to Chicago Sunday July 27th - Chill out with relatives in Chicago Monday July 28th - SFGAM for the day Tuesday July 29th - Travel to Sandusky/Half day at CP Wednesday July 30th - Full day at CP Thursday July 31st - Half day at CP, travel to Kings Island Ohio Friday August 1st - Full day at KI Saturday August 2nd - Full day of travel to Hershey Pennsylvania Sunday August 3rd - Full day at Hershey Park Monday August 4th - Spend the day/night at friend's house Tuesday August 5th - Visit Relative Wednesday August 6th - Full day at KD Thursday August 7th - Full day at BGE Friday August 8th - Site seeing/travel day. After that visit MIA sometime. We already got most of our hotels & stuff figured out, so now I need your guys' help. What are some tips, and things to remember on the road trip, and how can I visit every park, and see it with full advantage. Thanks a lot!
