  1. What is your favorite place(s) in the world? And also, Where whould you most like to go that you have not yet visited? My favorite places would be: Beijing. Such an amazing city with a great big wall going right though the outskirts Prague. Beutifull city with great women and beer. What more could you want!! Plus the beer is only about 40p a pint in the local bars. 8) Ibiza. Quite a small Island in the Med with great beaches and of course when I was in to the scene a few years ago no other place in the world can beat it for it's nightlife. The best clubs in the world are here! Nowadays I go here to chill with the missis and child. And the place that I would most like to go to is: Las Vegas. I just wanna go and see it and witness the overall atmosphere. I'll be going here in May 2007 when I get married in the Bellagio.
  2. I'll be getting a 360 on Launch day. 8) CoD 2 just came through the door for PC. Looks great as expected. Multiplayer is what it's all about esp on the 64 man servers. On the X360 you'll be lucky to get 16 probably
  3. I've been on both and I would also say that the drop on Oblivion is better than Sheikra's because diving into the hole makes it so much better and plus you can't really tell the 3 degrees difference in them. But yeah overall Sheikra is the better ride just because it's longer and has an inversion.
  4. We also have one here in Milton Keynes called Snozone but it doesn't have that level of theming though. It looks great. 8)
  5. Great Retro Report. I also went to AT in 95 and I remember it very clearly. Thunder Looper was such a great ride. I remember that if you looked to your right at the top of the spike then you would get a good view over the valley towards Festival Park.
  6. Too bad that the sheets are still on! Like the new Av
  7. Can I just say that GY Pleasure Beach is a great place to go. Yeah it hasn't got massive rides like other parks but it does have a great Scenic and a great sea side atmosphere. Plus, Chavs? There everywhere not just GY. Enjoy your time there. 8)
  8. I went on a HUGE alpine slide going down the mountain from the Great Wall of China. It's located at Mutianyu north Beijing. Excellent fun. Anyway that powered version looks a lot of fun. 8)
  9. Nemesis's famous helix back row is forceful enough, But in the rain!! Madness.
  10. All of the above. Plus I have an Uber gaming PC 8)
  11. I visit gaming sites apart from the coaster related ones. IGN Gamespot TeamXbox PCgamer Britxbox Steampowered
  12. Excellent stuff. As I've said that Scenic was my first coaster which was years ago now. I went back to Yarmouth about 2 years ago and I thought the ride was still awesome. As you say the 2nd drop does kick ass and the Station is cool. I remember that windmill building (Where the adventure golf now is) when I was a kid as it was an indoor adventure playground and my parents would leave me and my sister there for a few hours while they spent time on thier own. Must be about 20 years ago now! Brings it all back.......................................
  13. The poll has gone? I was just gonna vote for humdinger
  14. If it's up and running Yeah it's a good ride. Very surreal being thrown around like that.
  15. I rode it about a week ago. Trust me it's nothing special
  16. I can't remember finding it now as it was about 5 years ago  Time flies.
  17. Just cross your fingers for all the effects working. Most days something is not At least the water vortex works more or less everytime I go though
  18. Thanks for posting the trip report. Very good read.
  19. That's good to hear that it's more reliable then, Esp after all that money they have invested! I was gonna go up there over the weekend but never got round to it. I can't beleive they still havn't got wristbands because it can be a very expensive day out.
  20. So since the modifications (Horseshoe turn lower etc) which they made it still closes because it's prone to valleying?
  21. I'll be riding the China Flyer next year as I'm going back to Beijing. OCT looks to be a very good park from the website. Sorry to go off-topic
  22. What I don't understand is that Chelsea were not in the top seeded group and Arsenal were! A) Chelsea are the english Champions B) Chelse have got to the Semi Final for the past 2 seasons and C) Arsenal NEVER do great in the Champions league. I just don't understand it. BTW I'm not a chelsea fan so it is an unbaised view
  23. A couple of the smaller parks here in the UK have the nautic jets although they are not self operated
  24. Very good video. Must get back to Blackpool very soon. I'm thinking about going up there during the iluminations 8)
