  6. This trip report has had me in stiches. It's just not the "norm" PS Looking forward to CoD 2 8)
  7. Drayton Manor installed some harder, Faster but louder wheels on the rolling stock Yesterday. Apparently it improves the ride a great deal. They also have another car on the way to the park which will certainly help with capacity. EDIT. Also just found out that they have also speeded up the lifthill since the video.
  8. LOL yeah the Wildmouse at Blackpool you have NO CHOICE but to duck if you want to keep your head if your over 6ft
  9. It'll be interesting to see how there gonna do the glass elevator at the end. Knowing AT it'll be something really cheap looking
  10. Taken from Rideas: This is in the latest issue of "The Source", which is the new name for the staff newsletter: ------------------------------------- TOP NEW ATTRACTION FOR 2006 Alton Towers will proudly unveil a magical new attraction in April 2006. The former Toyland Tours ride on Cred Street will be transformed beyond all recognition to create Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. This fantastic family attraction will reflect the dream-like world created by Roald Dahl in his famous book. Arriving through the factory gates, guests will take a tour on water through the chocolate factory. They will then disembark and walk through the colourful inventing room before taking an unforgettable ride in the famous glass lift. Head of Brand Marketing, Tracy Burton said: "It will be an amazing adventure for children and nostalgic adults alike. The highlight will, without a doubt, be the glass lift. Using state-of-the-art technology, guests will really feel as though they are flying. It's a very exciting addition to Alton Towers!" ------------------------------------- Scan of the article here: http://dan.towersalmanac.com/source_ccf1.jpg
  11. Crealy Adventure Park, Cornwall,UK about 2 weeks ago. They have the most awesome slides of death! We're talking sheer vertical slides that you float all the way down until they start to level out. They have 4 of them 2 about 20ft, 1 25ft and then the big un' which is 30ft or so. I had the most fun at this park than I have ANYWHERE  Even Blackpool. No crowds and just 1 massive adventure park with ball pools, Zip lines the lot. 8) BTW Obviously BPB has waaaaaay better rides but for sheer FUN this just kicked ass! 8)
  12. Awesome, Cheers. 8)
  13. Does anyone know where the original post with themepark locations in?
  14. CoD 2 (X360,PC). The first was great but United Offensive was amazing online. I played it for 1 year straight and I only just stopped because of Battlefield 2. 8) Others I'll buy are FEAR and STALKER. I'm A big FPS fan.
  15. PMBO at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is greatly improved at night IMO. Esp when the illuminations are on and you can see the lights for miles.
