  1. Yes, it is EXTREMELY rough! But that is also the reason I love it! It'd be rather boring if it'd be smooth. The whole ride is very violent and fast. This gives you a strong out-of-control feeling you'll find a lot on Woodies. This is the only steel coaster with this feeling I like. It's just... part of it!
  2. Remember, it's Winter! That has a tremendous effect on the speed. And I'd say it is pretty fast already...
  3. People can't know everything, so don't blame them for not beeing coaster enthusiasts... You probably would look just as stupid when it comes to something you only know little about. If he says it's boring because of no inversions, it's his opinion. And he may just consider the overbank upside down, because technically, it is. The only thing I don't like is when people make up obviously wrong facts to impresse. For example "Have you ridden that 1000ft coaster at Cedar Point?"
  4. Okay, apparently most people here cannot appreciate a Intamin First Gen Freefall! They're disappearing everywhere! So I'm REALLY happy that they GET one of them. I for one love them!
  5. Hey everybody! This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Movieland Studios, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Movieland Studios. Movieland Studios Offical Website Below are some links to past updates from the park, you may be interested in. 6. Well... Didn't know that. But when is someone considered new anyway? I'd say his post (and link) is perfectly fine! Well, anyway, don't wanna go offtopic... So is that the record for piercings in ONE session or is it the record for OVERALL piercings?
  7. I don't see what he did wrong... It's his business too...
  8. You can't heartline a 4D. That's not heartlining in the full-full. It's just turning. Actually I think you can heartline it. Not quite true. "Heartline" is he wrong term. there IS a "heartlin technique", which is way to complicated to explain though. Bascially, it works with two "lines"...
  9. How so?
  10. Doesn't it always?
  11. This is exactly how I'd imagine elissa as a mouse!
  12. What?! Who says a launch on a Woodie needs to be 100mph+ fast?! And why would a launch pull forces Wood couldn't handle?
  13. Why? There is absolutely no reason why an INTAMIN PREFAB Woodie could not sport a launch... I don't see any other companies doing such thing...
  14. And how does the way you get energy have to do with the rest of the ride?
  15. Have you ever heared about the Intamin prefabs? Sure, many don't see them as "real" Woodies (me included), but they are still Woodies and it'll be easily possible on them. Would you have ever thought of a loop on a Woodie?
  16. Ever noticed how a wooden style coaster is loosely on the track? For LIM's there must be no tolerance... As for it not fitting the character... If we would've gone with that all the time we'd still live in boring times. I can very much see it happening, especially on the Intamin prefabs. But it'd remain a gimmick...
  17. They have walls too (have been there when you went), I think that's about it...
  18. In the title you mention LIM's, but you use TTD as an example?! As for LIM's... They'd be impossible on a Woodie. But a hydraulic launch like TTD? VERY possible, and I could see Intamin doing that. Hey, El Toro has a cable lift which is very similar...
  19. Yup... They didn't really have any "complaints", but several people that live there have mentioned the screaming from the coaster. Since the park has a very healthy relationship with people that live there, they did that...
  20. Eh, I might not be Dubaidave, but AFAIK everything so far is just concepts. Far from the state where one could tell what KIND of coasters will be there.....
  21. If I don't eat I'll get sick very easy, so I eat plenty usually. I just try to avoid too much sweet stuff...
  22. First of, it's "Heide" Second, yes, the airtime is very similar to Colossos... I had days on EGF where there was just very little airtime, and I had days where there was more then on Colossos, but basically they are similar...
  23. but then there's also this: http://www.ridercam.de/ Strong rumours indicate use on Black Mamba That Holiday Park did not think of that is no surprise to me!
